I'd do it, if I thought the stage was set to create utopia. Although, in the worlds current state of affairs, people dieing less would be a bad thing. Within a generation, people would start overpopulating the earth, then we have a bigger problem than we started with. The earth is already overpopulated in my opinion. However, if human breeding was discontinued, and there was a mass culling of "evil people" then we might have a chance. As for the great advancments in technology, we'd not need modern medicine if not for disease and illness. Therefore, there would be no need for human experimentation of medicine.
