I just got my white soap stone, when should I expect invaders and phantoms to start popping up? Not seen any by the first couple bonfires.
*shrug* only played for a bit, so don't have a full grasp on all the mechanics, plus I don't die THAT much.
nah, and yeah, they gave a one time penalty of cutting your health in half when you were hollow, and that was it. This game reduces your max health again and again and again the more times you die without becoming human again, which isn't terrible, but early game when you have very limited humanity restoring items and want to save them it can be tough to decide when you should go human.
I find myself getting combo'd for days with a **** up and it's just easy to die, but very easy to stay alive, since they drown you in recovery items. Though the penalty of the more times you die without becoming human sucking away your max health is pretty mean. need me more effigies.
