I wake up to a text from some person I haven't talked to in a year saying basically this,

What. the. ****? This is a person that I haven't talked to in over a year, and I don't think I can stress that NOTHING HAPPENED between us enough. She was just this person that I talked to for a semester and slowly stopped talking to over time. I don't understand where this whole "victim" thing comes from because literally nothing happened. nothing.

I guess I just have that natural charm~
If my irresistibleness is causing anyone here pain I am truly sorry (no I'm not)

About every other month or so I look up set shots for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just to see what's going on, and... yeah...

If her outfit is any indication then this movie may not be as bad as I was expecting, and it may be tough emotionally for me (totally fell in love with Gwen in the first movie) - I cry in literally every movie I see in theatres. I did like 5 times in Man of Steel and at least once in Monsters U recently. Either this picture gives a ton away, or they're intentionally dicking us around. Either way I'm excited.

So yeah, CRAZY excited for this movie now, it may end up being terrible like I'm expecting, but fingers crossed that it's a spectacular movie and they let this play out like I'm hoping.

Go see it. Like, right now.

It's every bit as good as Monsters Incorporated, if not maybe better. I couldn't have been happier with it, it's everything a prequel should be. It does the original characters/world absolute justice. Top tier Pixar

My dad was playing some trivia game and I happened to walk in the room when the question was something along the lines of, "John Forbes Nash, Jr. made outstanding accomplishments in which field of study?" He didn't know the answer and I was all like, "Mathematics, duh."

Having recently played DDD, I was thinking about how using Second Chance and Once More in tandem makes you pretty much unable to die. How would you feel if they removed these abilities or any others that we've had in every game from III? Frankly, I'm getting a little tired of having the same recycled abilities in each game. I want something different in III, something new. Be it abilities that function entirely differently, or a system that has abilities in itself that function similarly to ones we've had for years. I don't care. I would even be satisfied with just changing the name of staple abilities like Combo Plus.

You could say that if I want to die I can just not equip them, but that's dumb. If they're there I'm going to use them.

Now, abilities like Second Chance and Once More are a requirement for secret bosses, and even some final bosses, in recent KH games. This is another problem I have. I'm sick of fighting bosses that can kill me in one hit. The novelty of that wears off almost immediately. These abilities also take away any challenge of the post-game. While this may be fun for just walking around killing things to your hearts content, and useful for grinding, I honestly don't feel like I need it or want it anymore. What is the purpose of leveling all the way up to 99 if you can't die anyway? Not only should the stats increase with each level, but the characters fighting prowess should increase as well. (I don't know much about gaming hardware and software, so I don't know if this would have been possible, but how cool would it have been if Flowmotion evolved the more you leveled up? If they weren't able to do that it would have been nice to unlock new Flowmotion abilities as you leveled more. That was a major complaint I had with the game.)

You could suffice this to say that I don't want Second Chance and Once More in III, and I don't want to be put in a position where I need them. Give me something challenging, but don't give me something that 100% requires luck to beat.

It's come to my attention that unnecessary and overuse of commas is running rampant through the forums, so being the humble servant of the people that I am, I decided to take it upon myself to provide anyone who wants it with a quick refresher on comma usage. Now, I'm not saying I'm without fault of abusing the comma, and I don't mean to go all Space Grammar Nazi Hitler on you all, but this is something I think we could all use (myself included) to better ourselves, the lovely denizens of KHV.

Also, I understand that not everyone's first language is English, so if that's you please don't be offended.
    • Use a comma to separate the elements in a series (three or more things), including the last two. "He hit the ball, dropped the bat, and ran to first base." You may have learned that the comma before the "and" is unnecessary, which is fine if you're in control of things. However, there are situations in which, if you don't use this comma (especially when the list is complex or lengthy), these last two items in the list will try to glom together (like macaroni and cheese). Using a comma between all the items in a series, including the last two, avoids this problem. This last comma—the one between the word "and" and the preceding word—is often called the serial comma or the Oxford comma. In newspaper writing, incidentally, you will seldom find a serial comma, but that is not necessarily a sign that it should be omitted in academic prose.
    • Use a comma + a little conjunction (and, but, for, nor, yet, or, so) to connect two independent clauses, as in "He hit the ball well, but he ran toward third base." Contending that the coordinating conjunction is adequate separation, some writers will leave out the comma in a sentence with short, balanced independent clauses (such as we see in the example just given). If there is ever any doubt, however, use the comma, as it is always correct in this situation. One of the most frequent errors in comma usage is the placement of a comma after a coordinating conjunction. We cannot say that the comma will always come before the conjunction and never after, but it would be a rare event, indeed, that we need to follow a coordinating conjunction with a comma. When speaking, we do sometimes pause after the little conjunction, but there is seldom a good reason to put a comma there.
    • Use a comma to set off introductory elements, as in "Running toward third base, he suddenly realized how stupid he looked." It is permissible to omit the comma after a brief introductory element if the omission does not result in confusion or hesitancy in reading. If there is ever any doubt, use the comma, as it is always correct. If you would like some additional guidelines on using a comma after introductory elements, click HERE.
    • Use a comma to set off parenthetical elements, as in "The Founders Bridge, which spans the Connecticut River, is falling down." By "parenthetical element," we mean a part of a sentence that can be removed without changing the essential meaning of that sentence. The parenthetical element is sometimes called "added information." This is the most difficult rule in punctuation because it is sometimes unclear what is "added" or "parenthetical" and what is essential to the meaning of a sentence.
    • Appositives are almost always treated as parenthetical elements.
    • Use a comma to separate coordinate adjectives. You could think of this as "That tall, distinguished, good looking fellow" rule (as opposed to "the little old lady"). If you can put an and or a but between the adjectives, a comma will probably belong there. For instance, you could say, "He is a tall and distinguished fellow" or "I live in a very old and run-down house." So you would write, "He is a tall, distinguished man" and "I live in a very old, run-down house." But you would probably not say, "She is a little and old lady," or "I live in a little and purple house," so commas would not appear between little and old or between little and purple.
    • Use a comma to set off quoted elements. Because we don't use quoted material all the time, even when writing, this is probably the most difficult rule to remember in comma usage. It is a good idea to find a page from an article that uses several quotations, photocopy that page, and keep it in front of you as a model when you're writing. Generally, use a comma to separate quoted material from the rest of the sentence that explains or introduces the quotation:
    • Use commas to set off phrases that express contrast.
    • Use a comma to avoid confusion. This is often a matter of consistently applying rule #3.
    • Grammar English's Famous Rule of Punctuation: Never use only one comma between a subject and its verb. "Believing completely and positively in oneself is essential for success." [Although readers might pause after the word "oneself," there is no reason to put a comma there.]
    • Typographical Reasons: Between a city and a state [Hartford, Connecticut], a date and the year [June 15, 1997], a name and a title when the title comes after the name [Bob Downey, Professor of English], in long numbers [5,456,783 and $14,682], etc. Although you will often see a comma between a name and suffix — Bob Downey, Jr., Richard Harrison, III — this comma is no longer regarded as necessary by most copy editors, and some individuals — such as Martin Luther King Jr. — never used a comma there at all.
    • As you can see, there are many reasons for using commas, and we haven't listed them all. Yet the biggest problem that most students have with commas is their overuse. Some essays look as though the student loaded a shotgun with commas and blasted away. Remember, too, that a pause in reading is not always a reliable reason to use a comma. Try not to use a comma unless you can apply a specific rule from this page to do so.

I just went to the bank and while I was going through the ATM drive-through there was this guy, whose car had apparently broken down in the parking lot, that was wandering around the drive-through area and was slowly making his way toward me. I thought for sure he was going to kill me. He was going to take my money, and then he was going to kill me. As I started to pull away he stopped me (at this point I was mentally preparing to die) and asked me if I had a phone that he could use. I said no and sped away. Did I have a phone? Yes. Did I have a phone he could use? No. So I drove away rejoicing that I survived.

Okay, it's not that I'm not willing to help someone in need, but I'm not going to let this random suspicious looking guy use my phone. As soon as I reach out of the car he could somehow steal the car or kill me, or do whatever else. NOT TO MENTION THAT WE ARE IN A CITY, HE COULD HAVE WALKED TO THE TARGET THAT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BANK AND ASK TO USE A PHONE THERE if he really needed help. If I was in a position like that I would never ask to use some random persons phone. I would walk across the street to any of the numerous stores that there are here and ask for help there. I would not want to put someone in that situation. Part of me feels really bad for just leaving him there with no help, but there is no reason he can't walk to a store or restaurant or something and ask to use a phone there. If he really needed help he shouldn't be asking people going through the drive-through at a bank.

Plot Twist: Sora becomes a Keyblade at the end of the game and Riku wields him to unlock Kingdom Hearts.

The reason for this is because Sora is the unwitting Key to Kingdom Hearts. This is why Sora is able to wield a Keyblade himself despite not being chosen (lol, you thought it was because of Ven? No, no.). This is also why there are so many hearts connected to Sora, because Kingdom Hearts decided it to be so because it needed its Key to grow powerful enough to be able to unlock it. Kingdom Hearts is the governing body of all hearts, the place all hearts go when they die , and the heart of the original world before they were all separated (i.e. god). Riku, a chosen keyblade wielder and also a heart connected to Sora since childhood is the only one who can wield Sora - the Key, and unlock Kingdom Hearts - locked due to the massive collision of light and darkness during the Keyblade War, thereby reuniting all worlds into the original world - Kingdom Hearts (a fantasy setting where Disney and Square characters live side by side), the setting for everything post-Xehanort Saga.

How big is your music library?

    artists - 34
    albums - 71
    songs - 1124

I'm kinda somewhat maybe in the mood to maybe perhaps possibly expand my library if anyone wants to recommend music, but I don't want my library to expand so much that it gets out of hand, and I don't want to add things just for the sake of having them.

    edit: guidelines for recommendations:
    • Please, for the love of god, don't recommend any anime/game music or soundtracks.
    • don't recommend anything that would generally be dubbed "mainstream" or radio music. Chances are I've heard it, and if I like it already have it.
    • If you're going to recommend rap or hip-hop or anything from that hemisphere of music, keep in mind that I generally don't like it, so let that influence your recommends.

I'm debating with myself about going through my entire music library and checking the lyrics for each song. Correcting errors, fixing typos, making sure they follow the same format, and other stuff like that.
When I add music to my library each song goes through a rigorous process of following a universal naming/organizing system for the file itself, and then the entry in the library. Part of this process is making sure that every song has lyrics. For the longest time I've just been copying from the same website, and the idea was that I didn't care as long as they were from the website. Until recently I didn't care. I was looking at the lyrics and they were horrible. Things that shouldn't be capitalized were (this bugs me big time when it comes to my music. That's actually one of the steps in my universal naming/organizing system) and some lyrics were just incorrect.

So, I really want to do this but it would take forever. I don't want to commit to this. I'm always organizing my music library, and in April did a massive overhaul of everything. I just finished, I don't want to do this again even if it's only the lyrics. But I want to do it so bad.

Just got home from graduation. So excited to be out.

It hasn't quite set in that I've graduated, and everything that comes with that statement.
(then again I am absolutely exhausted. 24 hours ago I was sitting in a theater, so I need some time to rest before I start feeling anything.)

The only time I really got sad during graduation was when my second art teacher gave me a hug after the ceremony. She was always really nice to me and is one of the few people that I will miss.

    So, yeah. Graduation.

Just got home. Here are my thoughts.

My immediate reaction was that it could have been much better. To sum it up, there was far too much action and not enough plot/character stuff. Zod is by far the most developed character, and by the end of the movie I genuinely felt somewhat bad for him. The basis for the plot is very generic, but it was made enjoyable by Zod and his purpose. If this type of villain scheme is going to be done, this is a good way to do it.

As I said, there was too much action. Now, having said that, this was by far the best action I've seen in any movie. It was over the top, and absolutely thrilling to watch. Now, not only is there too much action, but the actions scenes drag on far too long. That's another problem: pacing. The beginning felt very rushed, and with all the action scenes it's just a mess. A beautiful mess, but a mess.

This film has my favorite score ever.

    The dialogue was weak.

Despite the problems I have with the action scenes that drag on way too long, there is one thing that I have to mention.

Superman killing Zod was marvelous. If you're going to have Superman kill on screen, that is the definitive way to do it. Put him in an immediate position where he has no choice, and then show him in complete agony over having done it.

It wasn't a surprise just because of the position he was in, but when he did it I was taken back by just how powerful it felt. Probably my favorite moment in the film.

    So yeah.

While the action scenes are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, they drag on too long, there's too many of them, and by the end that's all the movie really has going on. If there just would have been more thoughtful stuff and somewhat less action it could have been an outstanding film.

Oh, and that is the worst Clark Kent secret identity I have ever seen. He looks exactly the same. Reeve and Routh put him to shame.

I'm sitting here waiting for Man of Steel to start, and these guys in front of me are ranting about how, noy only wre people wrong about saying that ps4 is better, but that everything people have been saying isn't true.
Some guy said something about your account not carrying over, and the other guy said "ppffffttt, thats not true!"

And this same guy ranted for about 5 minutes straight about how the only thing people can bring up about ps4 being better is that is supports used games, as if thats something minor, and that because all of the games that Sony showed at their conference are multi-platform games, that that means that the pa4 is vastly superior. whatever, the more this guy talks the more he sounds like a moron.

There was more, but i forgot because, frankly, im too excited about this movie to think about anything else and stay focused. It's also kinda loud so that doesnt help, and neither does posting this from a phone.

edit: now theyre saying that the ps eye sucks, which it may i have no idea, but because of that the price point is moot because if you buy the eye, (which isnt mandatory) its closer to the Xbox One price point.
