Right, right. I knew that didn't sound right... ...But I still like the blonde chicks. :)
Couldn't we just toss some vodka in and have him get run over by frat boys?
Nomura said that he didn't make YuRiPa their regular size because they would've crowded up the screen a bit. Axel's already there so Reno would've been redundant. Zack looks like Terra. Vincent probably would've hogged all of Cloud's screen time...:sideways: Barret would've probably got into a swearing contest with Cid. They should've added more than one FFVI character in there besides Setzer. Would've loved to see Celes. Or Rosa from FFV.
The second volume of the KH2 manga is supposed to be coming out later this year.
Simple. I read the interviews with Nomura while KH2:FM+ was still being created. ;)
Is it my fault Rosey looks good in leather? :p
You bring the whip... ...I'll bring the rack. :sly:
It's because they used the graphic engine from KH2 to create KH:Re:CoM. That's why the animation looks a lot smoother.
Nice one. Loved the whole Limit Form Sora vs. Roxas w/different Keyblades cutscene and the Soras doing Eternal Session. Kudos!

They added the X in the names because Xemnas' original name was Xehanort. So, adding the X is like marking a Nobody as a member of Organization XIII. Kinda like how Charles Xavier named his team the "X-Men." Only without adding the X to everyone's name.
Episode 3, Act 6: "History Repeats..." Duke finally came to, not that it helped much. When Duke opened his eyes, he felt a tremendous pressure that immobilized his body. Queen Ariel was manipulating her mastery of air by pinning the group to the ground with great strong winds. Rebecca lifted her staff as best as she could and aimed. "Angelus Lux Lucis!" The beam of white light shot out of the end of her staff. However, the winds altered her aim dramatically and her vision was slightly blurred due to the impact with the floor. The monster cackled as the attack was fired wildly, not even close to its target. Duke attempted to push himself up with his massive biceps, but although his body was muscular beyond belief, his endurance and stamina were something to be desired. His arms gave way and he hit the floor again. Rachel was struggling to stay on her feet. All she could think about was the image of Michael's body being propelled out of the castle and falling to his death. She mustered as much of her energy as she could, fighting against the blazing gales that were keeping her in a kneeling position. Despite the rage and frustration flowing through her, she couldn't summon the strength to stand up. Rachel's legs collapsed; her knees hit the concrete floor with a thud. "Can't...move..." she croaked. "Michael..." ... Michael was mildly surprised to find that he was not panicking at all. "It's like falling through darkness," he thought serenely as he felt the atmosphere rush past his body. “I just feel so tired all of a sudden.†His eyes started to flutter closed, his mind starting to black out. “There’s nothing I can do…†FLASH! ...Robot Masters... ...Elementals......won't go out without......Roll...Dr. Light...Protoman...Zero... ...Memories beyond... ...My true name is... FLASH! Michael’s eyes flew open. “What in the world was that?†However, his thought processing seemed to become much clearer. Something occurred to him. “Duh! I’ll just use the Gem’s Teleportation Callback to transport back to the castle!†He gripped the Gem in his pocket and started to shout “Hover Castleâ€, but stopped. “Wait, what am I thinking? It’ll take too long to get from the teleportation point to the throne room." Something was nagging in the back of his mind. Something that he should’ve remembered. "What was it the Doc said? Something about this being a Swiss Army Knife?†He removed the Gem from his pocket and began looking through its functions. "'Universal Translator', 'Bio-scanner', 'Voice Journal', 'Teleportation Callback', 'Hoverboard Emergency Beacon', 'Audio Player'...wait! 'Hoverboard Emergency Beacon?'" Michael shrugged. "Worth a shot." “Let’s see, ‘Instructions: To use the Hoverboard Emergency Beacon, just call out the hoverboard’s registered name into the unit. Depending on distance and maximum speed, there may be lag time between activating the beacon and the hoverboard’s auto-pilot to function.’ That’s it? Why didn’t it just say, ‘Voice Activated’?†He activated the function by calling out "Rush!" The Mega Gem started flashing brightly like a signal beacon. “I hope this works.†By this time, the castle was almost a speck in the sky and Michael could almost see the individual grains of sand below him. His skin started to redden from the overwhelming heat that radiated from the incoming sand dunes. "Come on, come on," he muttered impatiently. … Meanwhile, Queen Ariel increased the force of the winds, effectively stopping oxygen from reaching human lungs. She hadn't moved from her spot in the sky, an easy target if any of them had the energy left to attack. "Can't...breathe..." Rebecca's brain was starting to shut down from the lack of oxygen. The others were in similar positions, desperately gasping for air. “Pitiful humans,†the harpy crowed. “You see how your worthless bodies take for granted the very air around you? You come in my royal chamber and attack the ruler of the skies? The queen of the heavens? The master of atmosphere? It will satisfy me greatly to see your faces the moment your lungs finally collapse.†Rachel’s vision swam from asphyxiation. She felt herself becoming calm and peaceful. Her muscles relaxed and the energy whip clattered to the floor. No one expected what happened next. SLASH! A red and blue form roared out of nowhere, leaving a brilliant gash mark across Queen Ariel’s wingspan. The attack instantly ceased giving the group a chance to gulp in much needed oxygen. "What?" the harpy cries in shock. "You dare attack me?" “Oh, I dare,†Michael laughs, “I definitely dare! Let’s settle this in a dogfight, shall we?†Enraged, the monster lunges at the young swordsman. Michael speeds across the sky, Laser Saber at the ready. Like Rachel did before, Michael and Queen Ariel rushed toward each other, neither of them backing down. In a matter of seconds, Michael rushed past his target with a giant swing of his sword as Ariel swiped with a flurry of wing. There was a moment of silence as both combatants waited for the other to show signs of being damaged. The monster yelled out in pain first. Rush was maneuvered around as Michael got ready to strike again. “No…†she whispered, “I will not be defeated!†She starts to charge up another Nimbus Wave. Michael tosses his Laser Saber into an unknown point in the air and aims his arms at his target. Rush streaks toward the demon like crimson lightning. "Slow on the draw, lousy on the execution!" Michael says with a grin. He makes a flying leap off the hoverboard and manages to grasp the silvery, metallic wings. "Absolute Zero!" The others were stunned as a gigantic storm of ice shards and hail formed out of his hands, effectively freezing and shattering her wings. "Noooo! What have...you...done?!" she cried as the cold started to slow down her body. "Time to face obliteration, hag!" Michael cried with the fire burning in his eyes. In one smooth motion, he spins in mid-air, grabs his Saber and barrels down on the sitting duck. "Force Breaker!" With lightning-fast speed and unstoppable ferocity of adrenaline, the sword burst into a purplish flame and sliced Ariel neatly in half. Michael deactivated his Laser Saber, nimbly landed on his feet, backflipped into a finishing pose and stared at the suspended form, ready to attack again. Queen Ariel's form crumbled into nothingness leaving behind another orb of light, this time glowing a cloudy white. Before anyone could react, the orb zoomed toward Michael. On impact, the blinding light engulfed the group before fading away. The next sound everyone heard was the castle's doors becoming unlocked. "Dude, are you okay?" Duke asked taking deep clean breaths. Michael stood silent for a moment, his expression implying he was struggling from some kind of internal conflict. After a few seconds, he shook his head clearing his thoughts. "Yeah, I'm cool." he responded. "Come on, let's get the prisoners out." Michael started heading for the holding cells but Rebecca blocked him with her staff. "No, you're not okay. First of all," Rebecca began with a concerned look, "how'd you use Hydro Striker's attack like that?" Michael shrugged. "I don't know, I just thought of using it and I did." "Don't give us that." Rachel snapped. "You’ve been kinda acting strange ever since yesterday. What’s up with you?" "Well, what do you want me to say?" Michael asked impatiently. "I'm not sure what happened." He didn’t want to mention the experience he had while in freefall. Then with an afterthought, "If it'll make you guys feel better, how about Beca does a maintenance scan on me when we get back?" No one could find a reason not to, so after agreeing, they finally freed the captives. Michael sent Rush home on auto-pilot and everything was back to normal. Well, as normal as a flying castle can get... "So you've finally banished that demon!" King Jacob Lexington the Third (King Jay for short) was extremely grateful that the castle was finally liberated. The quartet was now in the newly refurbished throne room, King Jay sitting on his royal throne. "This is terrific news! Everyone owes you their lives. If you have any requests, we'll do everything in our power to give it to you." Duke was getting hungry and was thinking of asking for a banquet. Rebecca was contemplating with the idea of being a princess for a day. Rachel just wanted to go home. And Michael... "Your majesty," Michael asked with a firm tone of respect, "all we request is information. When exactly did all this happen?†"Well, that is a mystery unto itself. The real queen had died years before. The hovering system keeping this castle afloat had been acting strangely and no one in the castle could figure out the problem. That’s when a young man named Zacharias Powers…†“What?!†they shouted in unison. “Zack was here?†The king raised an eyebrow. “I take it you know him. Anyway, Mr. Powers happened to be in the area and offered his help. He seemed to fix the system before leaving. Shortly after, this castle was attacked and ransacked by Queen Ariel and her minions. We’ve been prisoners ever since.†"How exactly did he get here in the first place?†Rebecca inquired. “The teleportation systems weren’t active until just recently.†“Teleportation system?†he repeated. “It’s finally up and running?†Michael and the others explained about their teleportation accident. "I see. The Professor’s always been a little absent-minded. Luckily none of you came to harm from it. But we seem to be getting ahead of ourselves. I don’t remember you four mentioning your names." "Forgive us, your highness." Rebecca apologized. "My name's Rebecca McMann. I'm the daughter of the Professor." "Oh yes, the gifted successor. I've heard about you before." Duke stepped forward, looking out of place with his broken frames and holey hat. "I'm Duke Masters." "Masters?" the king repeated. "Your name sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it." "Um...it's a common name." Duke quickly said as he stepped back. Michael gave Duke a questioning look, but Duke chose to ignore it. Then it was Rachel’s turn. "I am Rachel Roneca." "Yes, yes." the king replied. "Your family’s been a close acquaintance with ours." "Oh..." Rachel giggled nervously. Michael was about to ask how, but the king started looking at him. "And who might you be, young warrior?" Michael got on one knee and bowed. "My name is Michael McMann. I'm the son of the Professor." The king stroked his chin. "I don't recall the Professor having a son." "I'm adopted." Michael explained. "Oh, then never mind." "Did Zack ask for anything after he fixed the hovering mechanism?" Rebecca asked. King Jay leaned on his armrest lost in thought. "Now that you mention it, I don't recall him asking for anything in return." "I see." Michael rolled his shoulders, stretching out his deltoid muscles. "In that case, we request nothing else." "Really? I never expected such humble requests. Are you sure there is nothing else you need?" Rebecca and Duke were about to say something, but Rachel stopped them. "Forgive us, your highness. But we really need to head back now." "Ah. I understand completely. Very well then." Duke and Rebecca gave her a dirty look which she completely ignored. After saying their goodbyes and farewells, the group heads out back to the teleportation point. “Hey, Rach,†Michael began, “what exactly did the king mean when he said your family was an acquaintance?†Rachel gives him a hard stare. “I don’t want to talk about it,†was all she said. The teleportation center seemed to have calmed down when they materialized back in Ultima. The Professor was extremely glad to see them. "Thank goodness! I thought for a moment you wouldn't be able to come back!" Rebecca hugs her father. "Don't worry, we're safe." "I checked the system and indeed someone had hacked past the security measures.†He gestures towards a few maintenance crew members inspecting the booths. “I've spent the past few hours making sure that won't happen again." "Good," Michael said. "I've had enough adventuring for one day." Rebecca raised an eyebrow. "Not to mention we've got school tomorrow." "Has it really been only the weekend?†Duke wonders out loud. “It seemed a whole lot longer." "Whatever." Rachel says fingering a hole in her shirt. "I've got to get home and get out of this outfit. Too much wear and tear." "I don't know, Rach," Michael said checking her out, "I kinda like the look." Rachel's face reddened, glaring at him with a fiery look in her eyes. "Of course you would, you jerk!" And with that, Rachel socked Michael in an upward spiral sending him into a far-off junk pile. The Professor chuckled. "Ah, youth. How I miss it."
Smokin' Chipotle Tabasco sauce. I usually go to a Chipotles once a week and drain at least two bottles on my Burrito Bol. And the way that my mouth breathes out water vapor is an extremely cool effect. :sly:
Geez, after Iron Man, what's next? Another Captain America movie? Thor? Hawkeye? Heck, once they do an Ant-Man movie, they'll be able to finally pull of an Avengers movie. Besides, didn't they already release that cartoon movie last year, "The Invincible Iron Man" or something like that? Oh well. As long as they don't decide to do sequels, this should be a good movie. :)
You're...joking, right? They're making yet ANOTHER Ice Age movie? Granted, Ray Romano probably doesn't have anything else better to do ever since they ended his show, but still... Oh well. Ray could be doing worse. ;)
Very cheery even though her smile doesn't show it. :)
I wish she was still debating against you instead of the one's who want to justify Sora. Keep doing that and you'll force me to go Full Synchro all over your...:sly: Okay, I wasn't going to say anything, but this is the only time I'm agreeing with ICSP and *TwilightNight*. If you watch that scene again, the rock hit Goofy because he was trying to save the King. And even so, the rock wasn't even purposefully thrown at them. It was some blast debris when the Surveillence Robot Heartless was firing at a Dusk. It wasn't intentional at all. Let me bring in Xemnas again: In that entire rant, I don't see him saying "ALL" Nobodies, do you? The "we" he's referring to is him and his Kingdom Hearts, NOT the Nobodies. He said he can't be complete without it and vice versa. And I'd rather not waste my Photobucket account to screencap his entire speech, so unless you've got a specific scene where Xemnas himself (not any of the other Org members) says that he was planning to use KH's power for ALL Nobodies like you keep saying, that argument just got "Obliterated." Saix is a bully and you don't see me complaining...oh wait. Okay. I'll admit their primary objective deserved merit. They just went around the wrong way of implementing it. That's the main argument right there. There had to be another way for them to accomplish the same goal without disrupting the natural world order. But don't ask me what it is. That's because the only enemy they have left to worry about was Xemnas. There was nothing stopping him from creating a new Organization and putting the Keyblade wielders through utter chaos all over again. They were tired. They didn't want to fight anymore, but no one else would've done the task. If they had just left Xemnas alone, everything that they accomplished would've been for naught. They wanted to go home so Riku could snap incriminating photos of Sora and Kairi making out. They just wanted the whole deal over and done with so they wouldn't have to worry about the Nobodies causing more chaos throughout the worlds. So, that's what they did. Nuh-uh. Xigbar wasn't rescuing Sora. In fact, he wouldn't have had to if Saix hadn't summoned them in the first place. Xigbar only destroyed all the Heartless because it was obvious Sora wasn't going to attack them. And before you get into the whole "Sora stupidly got distracted by Kairi" schpeal, Sora had managed to get out from underneath the Heartless. And what's the next thing he sees? Kairi wielding a Keyblade alongside Xehanort's Heartless. Now if you saw your girlfriend fighting alongside the main boss you defeated back in KH1, wouldn't you hesitate and wonder what the heck was going on? Also, Saix had just insulted Sora. ("She doesn't need you.") Of course Sora wouldn't have been in the mood to help them out anymore. Already dealt with above. Um...no. I thought someone already stated that the only rogue Nobodies at the point of the train station are Axel and Namine. Everyone else was still under the Org's orders. No. If they were rescuing her, they should've brought Kairi directly to Sora instead of keeping her locked up like the stereotypical princess in distress. In fact, Axel apologized for kidnapping Kairi, right before Saix interrupted him. And then Sora got on his knees and asked Saix to "please" take him to her. If they were really "protecting" her, they would've granted Sora his request. It wasn't unreasonable. Ooh. Quotes. Just like how I love bringing in the bully point, you can't seem to stop using that last quote as the Org's justification for what they do. Not to mention... Like Repliku said, he was being toyed with and treated as nothing more than a pawn. If they had any respect for him at all, they'd have at least helped him out instead of remaining mysterious and distant like a giant emo club for men. But, of course, they thought of themselves high and mighty over the Keyblade master. Why else would they stay quiet about their real objective? Wrong. From that quote, it can be assumed that the dragon didn't become a Heartless until after Shan-Yu. If it happened before, it would've shown up during the avalanche fight. I mean, come on. You'd think a hibernating dragon probably would get woken up from a firecracker causing an avalanche. If that were true, they should've just shoved every single Heartless they could find onto only one world and lead Sora there to take them all on...oh wait, that's exactly what they've been doing. :sideways: You mean right after Saix attacked a bunch of kids? [sarcasm]Yeah, Sora was in a real mood to ask questions after that. [/sarcasm] Seifer was a pushover, but that was it. Saix didn't need to humiliate them by sending the Dusks at them. Saix abused his powers. He could've just left to search for Axel elsewhere instead of sticking around and telling Sora that they "know very well how to injure a heart." If that didn't sound like a side threat, then... Yeah, well I'm getting tired of playing defense at the moment. I think Pika_Power and Repliku have more than enough power to take you on with no problem. In my case, I'm wasting time that I could be using to finish my fanfics. So, until I find any gaping contradictions again, this is me... LOGGING OUT
My monsters only showed up if I went to sleep when the light was ON. I never slept with night-lights. It was always the dark I craved. The bed was too low for anything to stay there. My closet hasn't been closed in years. Any my house doesn't have a basement or attic. So, if I had any monsters, they'd have to attack me from inside.
Another interlude... (Note from author: Judging by the numerous comments, I'd say that this story is pretty successful at the moment. What I find hilarious about the past few comments is that I never even once thought of who the judges were going to be. Maybe two guys and two girls probably. I dunno. :p Anyway, without further ado, enjoy your crappy anime cartoon...I mean, my newest update. :D) 800th post! "TIDUS, YOU MORON!" Kairi's hands were currently wringing Tidus' neck, crushing the ever-loving life force out of him. Sora and the others were trying to pry her fingers away. "Kairi! Calm down!" Sora cried. But there was no doubt in his mind that Tidus deserved it for being careless. After the group met up outside in the town square, Sora relayed the situation to the others, resulting in Kairi's justified wrath. Donald and Goofy were currently in the men's bathroom trying to figure out how to use urinals that weren't designed for animals as all of the stalls were currently occupied. "How could you let Natalia get her hands on that picture?!" Kairi roared. "Don't you realize what this means for me and Sora?!" Eventually, her grip came loose enough for the others to pull her back a few feet. Tidus gulped in fresh hair and began massaging his neck. "I don't know how she got it! I was only glancing at it for a couple of seconds!" Wakka rolled his eyes. "Try ten minutes," he corrected. "It probably happened when Riku and I had to go take a porcelain cruise." "Look. The only thing that happened was that a couple of girls came up to me, asked me about my phone and then left." Tidus was still cringing slightly at the harsh glare Kairi was giving him. "It's one of the newest models, okay? It seemed like genuine curiosity to me." "Did you take your eyes off your cell phone at all?" Riku asked questionably. "I swear, I kept my eyes on it the entire time," Tidus said. "I just bought the thing. There's no way I'm going to let someone steal it!" Selphie raised an eyebrow. "Did you let them hold your phone?" "Um..." Tidus' eyes widened as he remembered. He gave the others a sheepish grin. "Oh." Kairi made a ferocious lunge at Tidus. "What do you mean "Oh"?!" Fortunately, the group managed to grab and restrain her before she took two steps. After a few moment, Riku got between Kairi and her prey. "That's enough. What's done is done." The stern tone in his voice made Kairi finally calm down. Selphie, Wakka and Sora finally released their hold. "Besides," Riku continued, "if anyone should be angry, it's Sora." Sora casually twirled Kairi's hair around his finger. He felt slightly unnerved at seeing his body move with murderous intent. "So, what do you think we should do, Kairi?" Sora's body looked at him in surprise. "What are you asking me for?" Kairi asked. "It's your decision." "What do you mean?" Kairi sighed. "You're the one whose reputation is on the line. If "I" participate, the picture goes out. But if "I" don't, you're going to have to go on a date with that wench." There was a tiny nagging doubt in the back of her mind that feared Sora would choose his reputation over her. "So, it's your choice on what you want to do." Fortunately, she needn't had to worry. Sora shook his head. "Kairi, I promised you that I'd help you." He shrugged nonchalantly. "So what if my reputation goes down slightly? Some people think I'm an idiot anyway," he said, barely looking at Riku. Sora took Kairi's hands in his and gazed straight into her eyes. "I don't care what happens to me as long as you're safe." Kairi's face was in a state of shock. She felt like kissing him, giggling and swooning all at the same time. Finally, she settled on glancing at Riku, who in turn responded with an "I told you so" look. Tidus, Wakka and Selphie could only look in stunned disbelief. "Okay, that didn't look too weird," Selphie commented. "If I didn't know that you two were switched, I'd think that Kairi was confessing her love to Sora." Sora and Kairi immediately let go of each other's hands and turned their heads in opposite directions. Kairi couldn't help but blush while Sora only let out a quiet cough in an attempt to cover the awkward moment. "It's too bad we've got nothing on Natalia," Wakka said. "I mean, everyone already knows she can be a spoiled rich girl." Selphie nodded. "She pretty much has almost unlimited resources at her disposal. She could blackmail all of us if she wanted to." "Wait a minute." Sora looked at Kairi in confusion. "If she's so rich, why in the world did she enter this pageant in the first place?" Kairi could only shrug. "Could be just an ego trip." "Or she could've entered fully aware that Kairi was entering too," Riku said. The gang looked at him curiously. "What do you mean, Riku?" Sora asked. "Think about it. She's already rich enough. The only possible benefit she would get out of it is winning that bet." "Are you trying to tell us that she entered for the sole purpose of making that entire bet to date Sora?" Kairi rolled her eyes. "That's insane! Even Sora's not worth all that trouble!" Sora gave her a look of disgust. "Gee. Thanks a lot, Kairi." "Oh, quit acting insulted," Kairi responded coyly. "You know it's true." "Ouch," Wakka said. "Re-JECT-ed." Sora ignored him. "Anyway, since Tidus' camera got us into this mess, maybe it can get us out of it." His eyes homed in on Tidus' phone. "Do you have any pictures of Natalia? Tidus nervously fiddled with the phone's buttons. "Maybe a couple..." Judging by his reluctance to show the others, it was painfully obvious he was hiding something. Before Tidus could react, Selphie snatched the phone from his grip and turned the screen for the others to see. To everyone's surprise, the phone seemed to hold over a hundred photos of Natalia. Wakka let out a laugh. "Dude, that's more than a couple." "Obsessed much?" Kairi giggled. Tidus glared at them with his hands on his hips. "Hey! I was testing out my phone and she's extremely photogenic!" Selphie batted her eyelashes at him. "Whatever you say, Tidus." "I see a few good ones," Riku said as they scrolled through the pictures, "but nothing incriminating we could use." Sora glanced around at his friends. "I don't suppose anybody knows how to use a digital editing program?" To his surprise, nobody answered him. He looked at Riku. "You're kidding! Even you?" Riku shook his head. "I may be good at a lot of things," he replied, "but computers aren't exactly my specialty." He ran his fingers through his silvery hair. "How about Namine? Drawing's her forte after all..." "Sorry," Namine said apologetically. "I can draw freehand, but I'm not exactly into computers myself." Sora crossed his arms over Kairi's soft chest. "Too bad. It'd be nice if we had an equalizer or something. Maybe if one of us knew a computer geek..." Suddenly, Kairi's eyes lit up. Without a word, she pulled out Sora's cell phone and began dialing. The others looked at her curiously. "Hello, operator? I'd like to make a long-distance call, please." "Kairi, what are you doing?" Sora asked. Kairi shushed him. "You said we need help, right? Well, I know just who to call." Then to the phone, "To where?" A slight smirk appeared on her lips. "To Twilight Town."
