Man oh man. That is shocking. She clearly has a lot of issues, and whatever those may be, she will be getting help for them. No doubt about that. I don't think you or your coworkers have to feel at all responsible for it; you were just doing your job and there was no way of knowing she would do it. It just shows that you never really know what is going on inside someone's head, especially someone who you're merely acquainted with through work. Try not to be so negative. For all you know she may have a huge support network who will emerge after this event. It might be a wake up call for her husband and her family. It might be a wake up call for her too.

They still help fill the void that he left though.. or at least they would if I still lived with them, heh. I still visit them and my Mam regularly, like I said upthread though. Thank you for the help. That's a good idea. I'd never get rid of them completely and I'd still probably look at them occasionally, but yeah, I go on Facebook everyday so I'm more drawn to them that way.. Thanks a lot<3

Crazy talk. It's totally not even laziness. In fact, my Mam even puts the lid down on her toilet, so I'm used to lifting something up to use it. What you fail to understand is that it is a toilet seat, meant to be sat on. Therefore, its default position should be DOWN. ..I am being far too passionate about this toilet seat issue.
Like Misty, I grew up in a female-only house and, even now, I only share my bathroom with one female usually, so that's probably why it annoys me so much when I encounter a toilet with its seat up.
