well , you don't connect the psp to the computer with the charger firstly you plug the usb cable you got with the psp into the computer and the smaller end into the top of the psp where the port should be (on my psp 3000 its at the top) then you can access your psp files from your computer , or you can put the sd card into the computer with a sd card and put items into it or if you really want to connect to the internet from the psp you WLAN switch should be on (switch located at top of psp left of the usb port ) and then try connect using internet browser then put in internet details like SSID or security key hope i helped.
