I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be funny.
I'm sorry for calling you a little bitch. You aren't little.
Have any of y'all read the butter battle book? Yeah, so I read it a lot when I was younger and I decided because it sounded like a way to end the battle... to butter on both sides So everytime I make toast I butter both the front and back and when I do that I get weird looks... am I the only one who does this? Or better yet, prefers the butter butter side down?
Of course she would be honored with the presence of someone who had to point out her mischievous friend, and she had given the man an annoyed look despite the fact he said he wouldn't say anything. Mainly because he had said something, and he could have at least silently acknowledged. No one here was deaf after all. He kept asking about the book, or at least attempted before he got cut off. Tal flipped to another page and waited for a time for her to reply before she spoke, "It is volume 12 of 18 out of the Historia Dovah das Pando which... is a tough read sometimes, but it interests me enough. This particular volume is about the Debrisingr period. I am not entirely comfortable with the treatment of dragons during this period of time, but it is history and I must learn it." "Brinnah I didn't mean to anger you, I just wanted to be nice..." "I know but I don't want you taken away because you were trying to be friendly."

Can we stop and take a moment to appreciate and honor the loss of the Yo Mama jokes bot oh man that was beautiful.
Tal did not want to do this. Tal had to do this. It wasn't even an option for her to skip out on it this year. But she would try her damnedest to show up as late as she could without being tardy. Having a link with dragons was clearly no secret, it was what got her in the academy to begin with. She didn't necessarily have to pass it, but it would be so much better for her if she did. Or at least that's what her parents kept telling her from time to time. It was more of a matter of her parents wanting her to be a knight which was apparently something everyone wanted. Or at least that's how it would appear to her whenever it was mentioned. Tal sat at a bench examining her science scores which was definitely helping her feel a little better about everything. So far her scores seemed high enough, not ridiculously high to make her a genius but high enough to make people think she was insane when she said she didn't study. She felt something shift in her bag and she rolled her eyes and whispered, "Ember, stop it, I needed you here for moral support today, I don't want have you pulled away during the trial." The little dragon popped it's head out from the bag and hissed, and she felt a softness on her forehead before she heard in a child's voice, "It's dark in here, diifahdon. You told me never to use brisingr, it's also not cold in here to use it... I don't like being alone, diifahdon." Tal chuckled a little bit and opened up the bag, "Fly a bit, okay? Then go back in. You won't be alone much longer, just the trial, then we're done. Okay, malzeymah?" The dragon flew out of her bag and went up to her shoulder, where it nudged her ear slightly and sat down. Tal picked up the dragon and spoke, "I said fly around, not sleep on my shoulder." "Brinnah! Sevesao maniden vakuran ide-" "You're such a child." "Maaaan... fine fine..." the little dragon fly out of her hands and flew higher before he simply stopped flying and Tal freaked out and ran over to catch him. When she did, she put him back in the bag. "No! Brinnah! Don't put me-" "You can't stop in midair you'll get yourself hurt... plus, I need to go." "But diffadon..." the childish voice complained before she hushed him again. Tal made her way to the old building, or as Ember referred to it when he heard it mentioned, Bliranaflr. She had no idea, she didn't know what the word meant, but she figured it was a word that she couldn't translate into something she could understand. There were plenty of those, words dragons had that they did not, they had no direct translation because it was something the world did not have. Seishad for example, was a word she did not understand, but the closest she could come to was saying "the warmth our outside egg maintains to keep us from becoming one with death, not of love but one above mother brings" but when she said that, Ember claimed that was too complicated. She got to the building and she was surprised, considering she assumed she'd be one of the last one's here, she was surprised to see only one person had indeed arrived other than the Dean. She wanted to come late in hopes to avoid discussion, so she quickly pulled a book out of her bag and fought with Ember to keep him in before she got closer to the two. She bowed her head slightly and spoke, "Good morning." she looked over and saw Kendric and bowed her head in respect at him before she opened up her book and lifted it up to read to kill the time. Ember poked his little head outside the flap without making it too noticeable and he looked around and saw Kendric and yelled, although only Tal could hear it, "Osandrs zeymah! Is he taking this test too? Oh his Sandr must be proud. I want to wish him luck!" Tal did not budge as spoke back to him telepathically in her head, "So help me if you leave this ba-" "Atra gülai un ilian tauthr ono un atra ono waíse sköliro frá rauthr!" Tal rolled her eyes knowing that Kendric wouldn't have heard it anyway, but then she heard a small roar and Tal quickly let out a gasp before she hit her bag and Ember flew back to the bottom. Tal sealed the bag tighter while Ember shouted, "No, brinnah! Brinnah! I'm sorry!" then she went back to her book. Ember found a hole in the bag and stuck his head out again and looked over at Kendric.

"Are we going to keep fighting now? Sweet!" The voice seemed to echo from the other side of the room, and up in a chair in the corner of the room was someone shadowed in the dark with their feet up on the table. It was clear though that the voice was a female's, even if it was a little deep for a girl. The girl had something in her hand that she tossed up and down and she continued. "You know, I get that the boss wants you all to get along, but I'm loving listening to this... it's bonding... in the informal way." The girl stood up from the chair and walked up closer to them. Light shined a little more on her but only enough to make out that she was holding a knife. "Hey. I've got an idea. I'm not supposed to do this but if you all want, you can get out of here without having to do anything else... you have to do one of two things." The girl twirled around the knife and spoke, "Since you all know each other so well. If you can each tell me at least three hobbies of two others in here... actual hobbies with details. You can leave... or..." She put the knife on the table and sung, "There's an old tradition. A game we all can play." She pulled a bottle of liquor out and put it on the table and continued singing, "You start by getting liquored up and sharpening your blade." she grabbed the knife and started to sharpen it as she continued singing, "You take a shot of whiskey, you grab your knife and pray." She took a quick drink of the bottle and put her hand on the table, "And spread apart your fingers, and this is what you say." She started going in a pattern by stabbing the table in between her fingers to a beat, "Oh I have all my fingers, the knife goes chop! chop chop!" She twirled the knife a bit and continued, sounding a little less sane, "If I miss the spaces in between my fingers will come off... and if I hit my fingers, the blood will soon come out... but all the same I play this game cause that's what it's all about." She looked up at the group, clearly not looking at her hand as she continued stabbing the spaces between her fingers, "No you cannot use a pencil, you cannot use a pen. The only way is with a knife when danger is your friend. And some may call it stupid, one may call it dumb. But all the same we play this game because it's so damn fun." She stabbed harder into the table as she continued, "Oh I have all my fingers, the knife goes chop chop chop, if I miss the spaces in between my fingers will come off. And if I hit my fingers, the blood will soon come out. But all the same I play this game cause that's what it's all about." The girl immediately started to go faster, "Oh Chop Chop Chop Chop Chop Chop Chop, I'm picking up the speed." She spun it around again and went even faster and went, "And if I hit my fingers then my hand will start to bleed!" when she finished she stabbed the knife into the table and held up her hands, which had a couple scars but no new wounds, "That was a close one, I was having a little too much fun there... hehe..."
Spoiler: Flashback 3 Kaida appeared to be much younger, crawling up a ton of rocks to get to the top of a hill she had seen a flash come from earlier on. She occasionally paused as a cloud passed by the moon, blocking her available light, then she would continue her ascent. When she reached the top, she was surprised how flat the land way and how huge it was up there. It was almost as if there was an extremely large plane on the hill, but it wasn't too big. She wandered past trees and looked around at all the fireflies that surrounded her. One landed on her nose and she let out a chuckle before the very large flash happened again deeper in the woods. Kaida's eyes brightened up in fascination as she ran further in the woods. She reached a clearing to see something... otherworldly to her. She walked closed to it and knocked against it, then she heard a loud bang. Kaida jumped and pulled a shovel she was carrying out of her belt to protect herself. Kaida walked lightly on her feet clinging to the shovel. She saw a shadow move and heard a hissing noise. Kaida ran quickly towards it letting out a yell the whole time. The figure quickly jumped out of the way and Kaida went into panic mode. "Easy kid, easy!" the figure shouted as Kaida threw the shovel at them and they caught it before it hit them. She backed away in fear as they put down the shovel and spoke, "Shh shh shh, it's alright." Kaida ran behind the machine and peaked out nervously. The figure moved their hand over their shoulder and a glowing light came from out of it and moved towards Kaida. It brightened up the area quite a bit and she was able to make out the appearance of a skinny man with long, strawberry blond hair and bright green eyes that showed a lot of kindness, "What are you doing up here, young one?" Kaida walked out a little bit and the man crossed his arms and the light faded out, "Are you Lemon from household Q?" "It's Kaida." "Is that so? I didn't believe there was anyone named Kaida around here..." "I picked the name... it's MY name, I can make it what I want to be. Besides, they only named me Lemon because I'm-" "A sour kid that wears a lot of blue?" "I'm wearing yellow! When was the last time you saw a lemon that was blu-" "I was being sarcastic, child." "Sarcawha...?" The man scratched the back of his head and spoke, "Oh dear... how old are you?" "Uh..." she held up her hands and started to count and stopped and spoke, "Seven?" "You don't even know how old you are?" "I don't think it's important. What's important is the scarily big light that's I saw up here!" "You could see it? Oh no... I didn't mean to disturb people." the man bowed at her and spoke, "I'm sorry." he then walked back over to the machine and started to fix it, "I am creating something to better see the stars." Kaida walked over to him and looked up at the sky, "Why do you want to see them better? It's just... light." He looked to her with a big grin on his face, "It's not just light. There is so much more to it. And I am one step closer to figuring it out." Kaida looked at the machine and saw a bunch of buttons and a monitor that was displaying dark. He had a scanner attached and seemed to be focused on a particular area in the sky. Impatient at how long he was taking to get it started, Kaida kicked the machine and he yelled, "Hey! Don't do-" the light quickly shined out of the machine towards the sky and he grabbed Kaida and backed away as things began to clear up. Kaida uncovered her eyes and saw the man looking in awe at the machine. She turned her head to see the monitor which seemed to be showing a place brightened up greatly with some sort of light and... houses that were unfamiliar to her. The man turned towards Kaida and spoke, "Head on home ki-" "What is that? Is that... are those stories true? Are there places where light fills the entire sky? Places with large lakes and tall buildings? Are there other worlds out there?" "You are too young to understa-" "I'm not leaving here." Kaida grinned and jumped with excitement, "I always knew there were other places out there! Wh-why are you looking for them?" The man looked unsure of telling her but finally caved and sat down, "It has been a dream of mine to one day make it to another world. And now that I know... I want to go..." "Can that be my dream too...?" "Huh?" Kaida sat down next to the man and spoke, "I want to see another world too! I want to help you make your dream come true." The man let out a chuckle and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Do you really want to help me, or do you just want to help yourself." "Well why can't I do both?" The man let out a loud laugh and spoke, "Well if you are up for it, but it'll be a lot of hard work and danger." Kaida stood up with her fists out saying, "I can handle danger!" "What about the work?" "...I can try?" "Well if you want to help me out, you can come back here tomorrow. It's past your bedtime, Lemon." "It's Kaida!" "Alright Kaida." he smiled and put his hand to his chest and bowed his head slightly, "My name is Seiza. But you should seriously be heading on home." "But I don't want to..." "Well we could start working now if you'd like... we'll be working until cannon fire." Kaida thought about it for a moment and grinned and scratched the back of her head, "Err... I think I'll just head home and come back tomorrow." "Good idea." Seiza replied as he smiled at her. Kaida ran over and grabbed her shovel before she turned around, "I need to get an excuse for it..." "Well I can head over to Q and say I'm taking you as my apprentice. That isn't too hard." "I'm not calling you my master." Seiza rolled his eyes and spoke, "What a shame, I definitely wanted to form a class system in order to make myself feel like I have some form of power and dominance." "Huh?" "Oh nothing, you don't have to call me master. Now head on home before your guardians fire the missing child light, alright? I will see you later." "Alright! I'll see you later." Kaida was running off before she heard, "Oh wait, Kaida!" "Yeah?" "Don't tell anybody about it. We'll be doing 'star research' which, we will be doing in order for me to file reports but the other world projects will be 'side projects'. Okay?" "Alright! See you later!" Kaida answered back as she ran off to head back down the hill. Kaida still had the moogle tagging along as she began to head back from the lower village below. She figured she had taken enough of a break and she was feeling a lot more calm and refreshed despite all the disappointment she felt with herself. She kept poking at the moogle and asking it questions about where treasure chests were, but he couldn't tell her because he apparently hadn't placed any here, and she let out a sigh of sadness about it. When she got back in she entered the main hall and turned to the moogle, "No but I don't understand, Jax. Why don't you have some kind of sensor for it..." she frowned a bit and spoke, "Potions and munny are nice you know? I'm kind of low on munny..." she wasn't really paying attention to anything going on within the main hall at this point. She just felt like she was going back into an office or something.
No not really but when I was younger I tried to.
