I meant thanks to MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction. It's the principle of violence escalating violence but with nukes. And as far as I know, no one is able to effectively defend against a nuclear warhead attack, propulsion or not, the radiation and EMP capabilities from it would at least do the job if not the explosion created. But i haven't looked up nukes in years. May have developed something since then.
