    I vote for Chesty again.

Her posts were just incredible (well, so were the others) but she had to adapt to so much that I did and vice versa, and being able to adapt like that is good.
I love how Brad was in particular during this piece, and his reactions to the demoniacal Izzy were pretty incredible. Also the mentions of our secondary characters in this just felt very personal so it was a great partnership.
It was always easy and fun to respond to her. We just seemed to find that we could read each others ideas and intentions in our posts without even talking to each other about it prior (which I was surprised to learn after said posts lol)
Anyway, those were my reasons. But again, this was another tough choice for me.

So I was talking to some of my cosplayer friends...
we set each other an instant challenge where we had to come up with an easy to do and cheap cosplay for the next Expo. It doesn't mean we will actually do it... but we had to come up with something at least.
Anyway... my idea was surprisingly popular and so...

I am now seriously tempted to get some Heart Shaped Boxers, get the right wig (or plain grow my hair again)/the horns, and take a simple pillow to just go to an anime expo as Vincent from Catherine.
Simple Cosplay, but would be fricking epic. XD

Kurisu stepped forwards instantly and had one of the brothers by the collar of his attire. He had a dark smirk on his face like he wanted nothing more to hurt these annoying two, but he knew better, hence him hiding his anger behind his smirk. "Well... I guess you've found who you're looking for. We're the ones visiting her." and then he shoved the brother away into the brother.
"...Now. What do you want? and where is she?" he asked, with a clenched fist and a serious glare, the smirk still on his face in a controlled fury.

    'Hackers are people too' XD
    But yes... this and...

    This.
Agreed here. It's best to avoid getting another hack entirely lol
People have a right to be mad, but... don't provoke anything else basically.

    The problem isn't the security.
Even if we had better security, a skilled hacker with enough determination could get through no matter what we had. There are anti hacking measures that can be taken, but ultimately, hacking is what it is. Hacking. They can get through things no matter how strong it is.
It's just unfortunate really, nothing can be done except responding to it as fast as possible and hoping that not a lot of damage can be inflicted etc.

    Episodes: 12

Second Season?: There is a lot more manga, so I bloody well hope so! It's definitely possible.

Plot Summary: The Story revolves around Narumi Fujishima an ordinary high school boy who remained isolated from his fellow classmates. One afternoon fellow classmate Ayaka Shinozaki invites Narumi to join the gardening club and introduces him a reclusive NEET detective named Alice. Alice hires Narumi as an assistant and put him to work solving the strange mysteries of 'Angel Fix' an illegal drug. Little does he know it could put him and Ayaka in serious danger.

My thoughts: The provided plot summary is unfortunately a slight mislead. I mean, it's accurate, but there is a whole lot more to it too. Anyway, this has been one of my favourite series in the Summer 2011 line up. I was pleasantly surprised by it in fact.
Every episode kept me interested and I was never bored once. The story and cases kept me guessing albeit I on one or two occasions was able to feel proud when I in fact solved a certain part of a case before the characters.
Speaking of the characters, they are well fleshed out and I actually didn't get sick of any of them once.
One thing I'd have to say is that this series had a strong start, but it was one of those series that seemed to get better with each episode too.
I highly recommend this to people as it is certainly worth watching. It being 12 episodes makes it pretty easy to watch at your leisure (the first episode was special at 45 mins or so long).
As for a second season. Well, there is enough manga left for them to continue, and I certainly hope that they would do so. However, it is unconfirmed as of yet.

    ~

    But yeah.
    Anyone else watch this anime?
    Any thoughts etc?

(Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)

    1. Judging with ages, I would assume so. The others may be in higher education though. (Tyler is not... lol)
    2. I don't imagine it would be too big, I mean. I figure most of us would be pretty local to each other. Of course, travel is easy enough. But I don't imagine they would be in a big major city like say... New York or something. lol
    3. I doubt they would have their own studio yet... I mean, they haven't made it big yet right? I was thinking more like... Garage set up or something at least at first. Perhaps at the managers house indeed, but I dunno what you guys think lol
    4. Well, she'd know the other band members too. I mean, the old ones anyway she would know well enough. At least that's what I'm assuming anyway.
    5. Uh... I have no idea... probably best to sort out a mass MSN convo later and have that discussed?
    6. Uh... again, probs best for MSN. lol

I think I'll take my chances. XD
I'm still probably screwed in the event of an outbreak, but I can work with these babies. :P (At least, I wouldn't go down easy. Although, I'd plain prefer to use my Zombie plan instead)

Second Season?: More than likely going to happen. I'll be surprised if they don't.

Plot Summary: Kurogane Taito is a freshman in Miyasaka High. After an injury that prevented him from practicing karate, which he excelled in since elementary school, he had always believed that he was an ordinary, regular guy. However, due to a forgotten promise exchanged with beautiful Vampire (Most Ancient Sorcerer) Saitohimea nine years ago, he was in fact no longer ordinary. Taito later went on to regain his memories after a certain incident, and was reunited with Saitohimea. Along with unlikely allies, Kurenai Gekkou, Miyasaka High's student council president and a genius bent on avenging his parents, and Andou Mirai, a cute lightning demon and familiar of Gekkou, they have to contend against Gekkou's twin brother, Kurenai Hinata, who sought to resurrect the powerful Vampire (Most Ancient Sorcerer) Bahlskra. Unknown to them, their destinies were already woven and foretold in an ancient prophecy of epic proportions.

My thoughts: So this anime was a pretty decent one in the Summer line up of 2011.
It wasn't the best anime of the season but it certainly wasn't the worst.
The story at times felt predictable and cliche, but a lot of anime has that now'a'days.
It was still enjoyable with it's fair share of humour and a pretty darn good story.
The main protagonist is one of the usual 'must be a hero, but is an idiot when it comes to girls' type, and sometimes you can feel a bit annoyed with him but every anime tends to have at least one character that may annoy. The main heroine could possibly annoy watchers too, but that is just a matter of perspective.
I would recommend this anime to people if they have free time. It wasn't something that made me feel "Oh my god! Everyone must watch this!" (and there are plenty of anime that have made me feel like that) but it's certainly not a bad series.
It only being 12 eps makes it easy to watch as well, and with the current ending, nothing has been solved persay as of yet, but plenty of questions have been raised which most definitely suggests a second season. However, we have no idea when that will be coming, or if they will even choose to continue it. I however see it as having potential so I do feel they more than likely will choose to continue it in the future.

After Brad had finally ran off... a few moments passed.
And then some more... and finally. Izzy's eyes opened. He slowly turned his head to the side to find the note. He read it over once as he pushed himself to his knees...

    Thump Thump...
    His heart throbbed...
    Thump Thump Thump...
    His head throbbed...

He crunched the note up in his hand, and let his head roll back so it was looking up directly at the sky.
The collapsed house had done the most damage to him, it had nearly killed him, but it had been a risk that he had been willing to take. Of course, the fire would do nothing when he could let his own flames consume him, so that was why Izzy had been confident with his gamble. He had also known that Brad would try to play the hero and save him.
    The fool.
Tears of rain started to pour down, mixing with the flaming remains of the house to create a steam haze in the mix of flame and rain and now even thunder and lightning.

His plan had worked... now, Brad was off to the village. Indeed Heather would be waiting for him... but he had certainly been tricked, playing right into Izzy's hands exactly how it had been planned all along. This was far from over.
Izzy's bloodshot eyes seemed to morph as his now seemingly natural sadistic grin took shape on his face again as a cackling erupted from his mouth. The Demon laughed as the thunder joined him in his cry of glee.
This meant one thing. His plan had worked.
    It meant... victory.

    Victory.

Right, we have a lead singer who shall post her form shortly. Woo! Garxena! XD

    Now...
    as for the edits needed.

My character, Jayn's character and Garx's character were all childhood friends.
Because of this, they'd have known my guy before he was a ******.

    Anyway.
Jayn joined the band at the regular time etc.
As my guy began to change in personality. Jayn figured it would be a good idea to direct his attention to something useful and productive (hitting things = drumming)
And that's how that happened there. I mean... for how my guy joined. He picked up drumming pretty fast and was good, etc etc. Basically, he was good enough that despite how he acted and the fact that everyone liked Jayn, they kept him in.

    ~

Next is... how Garx would have been recruited once well... the sad deaths.
So please allow me to Paraphrase how this would have worked:

*Maka: We still need a lead singer.
*Me: Hey Jayn! What about Garx, she had one hell of a voice.
    *Jayn: *squee* Yeah, she did!
Maka and Fuzzy: Who is Garx?
    Jayn: Our childhood friend.
Me: There we go then. We could see if we can call her in.
    *calls Garx*
Me: Wanna be in a band? It beats singing in the shower.
    Garx: *squee*

    ...
I hope you enjoyed that little summary :P
    But yes.

Thank god... No school, and perfect timing too for Virgil at least as he ran to the Static Station, before stopping at the door in a sudden fluster.
Oh wait... she hasn't seen me as regular Virgil yet... but, I know her identity. So it should be alright... although. I just met her... then again...
He ran a hand through his crazy hair in frustration. "Well... if she comes with... she'd find out who I am anyway..." he muttered as he recalled last nights events.

    ~

He had gotten home to a surprising sight. Bags being packed.

"Woah, hold the fire! Wasup Paps?" Virgil had suddenly asked.

"Ah Virgil. Perfect timing, can you throw other that bag of toiletries for me."

Virgil naturally did as was told as his father started to explain. "We're going to be temporarily be heading over to Gotham City to help aid in the relief force that is going on there. Dakota is doing pretty well and I feel that this old man should be doing what he can when there are still Super's out there working hard despite everything else.

"I've always wanted to go to Gotham at least once!" his sister chirped in.

"Don't forget why we're going there."

"I know dad, we'll make Mamma proud.. don't worry."

Virgil felt a twinge in his heart at the mention of his Mother, but going to Gotham was a much needed opportunity, his father and more surprisingly his sister were right. There were other supers over there and that is where most of the decisions were going on right now. One thing for sure was that the world was changing and most of those changes were focusing on Gotham.

Richie as Gear could cover looking after Dakota while Static would be on 'holiday' so it wouldn't be a problem.
Then there was a matter of Aqua Girl... -Of course, that was an idea wasn't it? After all... she had said... "Hey paps... I think I have a friend who might be interested in helping out. The more the merrier right?"

    ~

Of course he had known his dad wouldn't say no. Which is why Virgil was here now.
Thankfully he had at least remembered his manners before just barging in. After all... there was a girl in there. So he sighed for a few seconds in preparation for just giving his secret identity away just like that. This was so weird... but he knew he would be able to trust this girl anyway.
    He knocked.
