Back on vBulletin, there were different URLs for a thread:
- Normal: just by clicking on the thread title, which takes you to the top of the page or the top of page one if multiple pages exist
- Go to first new post: takes you to the first new post since your last thread visit
- Go to last post: takes you to the last post made in the thread

On XenForo it works essentially the same way as shown on the list, except for the thread title not always being the same. I don't know what it depends on, but sometimes the thread title takes you to the last new post in the thread instead of just to the top of the thread or the top of page one of the thread.

On XenForo the "go to last new post" (or "go to the last unread message," as it's called on XenForo) link is a blue-ish circle and the "go to the last post," link is the date / time stamp (e.g., 14 minutes ago).

Would it be possible to change the behavior of the thread title link so it's always the normal URL?

To always get just the thread (normal URL), you can click on the date / time stamp below the thread. However, that's not as obvious, which is why I'm suggesting this.

Seven children were killed at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma, a police official said. Emergency personnel were scouring the school's rubble Monday evening, video from CNN affiliate KFOR showed. The footage also showed a number of other leveled buildings.

The tornado was estimated to be at least 2 miles wide at one point as it moved through Moore, in the southern part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, KFOR reported. Video from CNN affiliates showed a funnel cloud stretching from the sky to the ground, kicking up debris.

-- Fifty-one people have died as a result of the storm that hit the Oklahoma City area Monday, Oklahoma's office of the chief medical examiner said.

-- The dead include seven children at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, said Oklahoma City Police Department spokesman Kevin Parton.

-- Storm damage has been reported in Cleveland County, which includes Moore; McClain County, which includes Newcastle; and Oklahoma County, Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management representative Terri Watkins said.

-- Hospitals in metropolitan Oklahoma City are treating a number of people injured in the storm that hit the area Monday afternoon.

Twelve adults and eight children are being treated at the Oklahoma University Medical Center and The Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OU Medical Center spokesman Scott Coppenbarger said. "We expect more patients to arrive this evening," Coppenbarger said.

Elsewhere, the Norman Regional Hospital and the Healthplex in Norman, Oklahoma, are treating an unspecified number of people with "signs of trauma, lacerations and broken bones," spokeswoman Melissa Herron said.

Thirteen patients have been transported from Moore Hospital to other area hospitals, Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management representative Terri Watkins said.

-- The preliminary rating of the Moore tornado is at least EF-4 (166 to 200 mph), the National Weather Service said on Monday afternoon.

Obama told Fallin that "the people of Oklahoma" are in the first family's "thoughts and prayers," the statement said.

-- About 38,000 customers of utility OG&E were without power in metropolitan Oklahoma City after Monday afternoon's storm, utility spokesman Brian Alford said.

Alford also said the storm knocked out power to the Oklahoma City area's Draper Water Treatment Plant.

OG&E is working to restore power to the plant. City officials are asking residents to turn off their sprinkler systems and postpone washing dishes and clothes, according to a message on the city government's website.

-- Interstate 35 in Moore, Oklahoma, was closed as a result of debris from the tornado that hit the area Monday afternoon, Oklahoma Department of Transportation spokesman Cole Hackett said. Crews were headed to the north-south highway to start the cleanup process, Hackett said.

-- "People are trapped. You are going to see the devastation for days to come," Betsy Randolph, spokeswoman for Oklahoma Highway Patrol, told CNN late Monday afternoon. She did not say how many people were trapped. "Send your prayers heavenward because there are people fighting for their lives."

-- The National Guard has been activated in response to the tornado, Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management spokeswoman Ann Lee said.

-- Will Rogers World Airport reopened around at about 6 p.m. ET, spokeswoman Karen Carney said. All flights are delayed, and at least six flights have been canceled, she said.

-- Lance West, a reporter for CNN affiliate KFOR, said people late Monday afternoon were pulling students from a classroom at an elementary school heavily damaged by the tornado that hit Moore. There are no immediate reports on the condition of the children.

-- Congressman Tom Cole, who lives in Moore, told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday afternoon the damage he saw on TV looks as bad as a 1999 tornado that destroyed more than 1,000 houses in his hometown.

-- McClain County Undersheriff Bill Shobe reported Monday afternoon there is significant damage near Newcastle, Oklahoma. Shobe went on to say there are a lot of structures with damage north of Newcastle and in the town of Tuttle. Most of the damage is parallel to Highway 37, he said.

-- Moore Medical Center in Oklahoma was evacuated after it sustained damages from the tornado, a hospital spokeswoman told CNN's Sarah Baker. All patients are being evacuated to Norman Regional Hospital and Health Plex Hospital, and residents injured in the storm are being told to go to those centers as well.

-- A tornado struck just Moore, Oklahoma, south of Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon, ripping apart homes and other buildings in populated areas. The National Weather Service issued a rare tornado emergency for the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, meaning that significant and widespread damage and fatalities were likely.

Meteorologists warned residents to go underground to survive a direct hit from the tornado.

Gay Bullying or Bullying in General

So I was reading Justin Bieber's Wikipedia page and noticed he's a supporter in the It Gets Better Project, a group that helps teenagers be comfortable with their sexuality, especially those that are homosexual and bisexual.

A 14-year-old boy, who was also in combat against homophobic-ism, committed suicide on September 18, 2011 after constant bullying and being called gay.

Now, I don't know about anyone else, but that really brought me down. I mean, he was only 14 at the time and still had his future ahead of him. Kind of related to the gay marriage thread in here, but when can we live in a world where not being heterosexual is normal?

I may not agree with suicide in any way, but I do understand why people do it and have sympathy for those who commit it due to bullying or hate.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Support InfoAtoms on Mozilla Firefox 21.0

I updated to the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, which came with some add-on called InfoAtoms, some program to stop Adblock Plus and was displaying links like "About This Ad" all over my YouTube profile and similar things on KH-V and other sites (I didn't click them, though). I disabled it, but how can I remove it? I see no "Remove" button.

Edit - 9:31 AM PDT: It doesn't look dangerous, but it does have a lock to prevent you from removing it, which I want to do.

19 Injured in New Orleans Parade Shooting
On Mother's Day, too. So tragic.

Quite frankly, I think the attack was deliberately planned to be on Mother's Day. Luckily, however, there are no known deaths.

Aziz, 33, a photojournalist, was at the second-line parade when gunfire broke out at the corner of Frenchman Street and North Villere Street.

Second-line parades, which involve dancing and brass bands, are a New Orleans tradition. They happen most every Sunday, except during the hottest months in summer, according to Aziz.

"We turned off of a main thoroughfare to a smaller residential street, and that's when the shots rang out. I was standing, I believe, right next to the shooter. I saw muzzle flash, but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see who the shooter was," he said.

People panicked and ran.

Aziz, who has worked in the Middle East, started taking pictures.

He sent those images to CNN iReport.

"It's a little jarring when you see these types of things on the home front," he said.

"I'm sad. I love this city. We're plagued by crime, and it's just not getting better no matter what we do."

According to police, 19 people were injured in the shooting, including two children. Ten men and seven women were among the victims.

The children suffered graze wounds. Other injuries ranged from minor to severe.

Shots were fired from different guns, and officers saw three suspects running from the scene, police said.

One of the suspects was described as an African-American male, approximately 18 to 22 years old, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

No one is in custody.

"This is an extremely unusual occurrence, and we're confident that we will make swift arrests," said Remi Braden, a police spokeswoman.

Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas told CNN affiliate WVUE that it appears "two or three people just, for a reason unknown to us, started shooting at, towards, or in the crowd."

He asked anyone with information to call authorities.

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu echoed that request, challenging the community to get involved.

"It's important for us, as I have said, to change the culture of death on the streets of New Orleans to a culture of life, and it's going to take an all-hands-on-deck approach," he said.

"These kinds of incidents are not going to go unanswered. We're going to be very, very aggressive. There were hundreds of people out there today, so somebody knows who did this."

Help Background Issue with Prefixes

This is on the minor side, but I thought I'd bring it up.

I noticed this a few days ago. In threads and alerts, prefixes are showing with a yellow background and black text instead of a blue background and white text. It's fine on the threadbit, just not on the postbit and alerts.

Explain Something to Me

Okay, so like anybody, I get kankasores (however you spell it).

Why is it that when I rinse out my mouth with clean water and swish it around the kankasore area, it stings, and yet when it gets all dirty from other food, it doesn't?
