What are some bosses that really gave you hell your first time playing through a game? This is, of course, assuming you didn't over level during your first playthrough and only leveled by fighting bosses and random encounters along the way, but not actually looking for battles or using some skill that can put you into a random battle.

Mine would be the third Droguza fight from Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. I kept getting game over after game over. One of my friends that I regularly hang with came over (we were early or mid teens at this point, IIRC) and managed to help.

This is the battle here in my first walkthrough of the game (obviously, I didn't have problems then), but it gives you an idea. Skip to 29:22 and watch until 39:10.

There's also the final boss, The Lord of the Black Abyss, of course, but what kind of game has an easy final boss?

Here's another that's not my recording showing how devastating he can be:

Then there's Empyrea from Dragon Quest VIII. She gave me a hell of a time, too.

This isn't my recording, but the one I did didn't really give me any trouble.

One of my friends just shared a photo on Facebook showing a model of just a butt. The pants are down showing the butt, obviously, with paper coming out of the anus.

    ...It's a paper dispenser.

I am unable to delete one of my personal conversations. I click delete, the loading indicator shows, but quickly disappears (not supposed to be that quick), and nothing happens.

It's a PC I sent to Misty a while ago, to which I had to reply in an entirely new PC because I couldn't even edit it.

Yup, definitely seems to be a browser issue. However, I know that sometimes these can be fixed by Cassie or Mark as there have been browser-specific issues with styles back when we were on vBulletin that got fixed.

Anyway, I made a video regarding this issue. I didn't do as much on the Google Chrome-side as I know for a fact it isn't an issue there, but if you compare it to Mozilla Firefox, you should instantly see the issue. Sometime it does it correctly, but most of the time it doesn't.

The issue is that Mozilla Firefox will most of the time take you to the bottom of the page after making a reply from the advanced editor or clicking on the last post link (the link is the time it was posted), as you'll see in the video, instead of correctly going to your post -- it should always behave like I showed on Google Chrome.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    • On Mozilla Firefox, go into a thread
    • Go into the advanced editor
    • Type something that's 20 or more characters, excluding staff since they are exempt from the character limit
    • Click Reply to Thread
    • Don't do anything and let it load

    And / Or:

    • Go into a forum
    • Click the latest post link (or just the thread link for the last new post)
    • Don't do anything and let it load

In either case, you'll be directed to the bottom of the page instead of your post. If it doesn't do it (as it does indeed do it correctly sometimes), try again or try again in another thread.

Do the same procedures on Google Chrome, and you'll see it's a non-issue.

If anyone else can confirm this themselves, please post here!

If this cannot be fixed, it may be a XenForo issue specifically, in which case, Cassie and Mark, as I know one of you has posting permissions in the support sections on XenForo, could you refer them to this thread containing the video and the steps to reproduce?

Here is the video (be sure to watch it on 480p and full screen):

So there were three police cars across the street in front of a neighbor's house. I go out to check the mail; to my left I see police taking a handcuffed man to one of the police cars.

I noticed on XenForo that their Members page is different. Their Registered Members is phrased as Notable Members and has Most Messages, Most Likes, Most Points, and Staff Members tabs.

The biggest thing of interest I see here is the staff tab. I do like the Staff Team page here, but it requires manual work when someone needs to be removed or added because they left or joined staff or someone's age needs to be updated, which, of course, adds workload to Cassie since she's the one that gets it. With the Staff Members tab on XenForo, it acts the same as every other place on XenForo, such as member profiles, and updates things like age, location, etc. automatically whenever a user changes info -- and even usernames, which only administrators can change.

The only problem I see here is the staff biographies wouldn't be needed if that method were done, and I'm 100% sure Cassie and Mark want those. I suppose the Staff section could be re-added, but that's probably not wanted, either. I dunno. Is there a way to make the Staff Team page automatically update things like age like other areas on XenForo do?

Thoughts and / or opinions on this in general?

Woke up around 3:50 AM (29 minutes ago) and got online around 4:00 AM (19 minutes ago).

I mowed the lawn yesterday and then my mom and I went for a drive. Mowing the lawn really exhausted me not really because I did the back, the side, and the front, but because it took an hour.

I went to be bed around 7:30 PM yesterday.

    Drunk Actions

Do you believe that when someone gets drunk, they lose all sense of control or they still have some control? I don't mean just one or two beers, but actually drunk to the point where you act different than usual or of being close to passing out.

For example, you've heard the stories of how males and females have had sex when drunk, and then when they're sober, one usually accuses the other of rape. So do you think it would be possible for two males or two females to end up having sex, for example, among other things that could happen? This would happen because they lost complete control over their thoughts and such to where something even like their sexuality, which is impossible to forget about when they're 100% sober, isn't even a thought in their head. For example, a male could have sex with another male thinking it was a female and vice-versa.

I'm basing this off a heterosexual male who has a wife and kids and a heterosexual female who has a husband and kids.

    Thoughts? Discuss.

I originally brought this up in this thread on December 27, 2012 (second to last post), but I figured I'd make a separate thread for it.

When I go to search for something, such as all threads I've started in The Spam Zone and click Search, it sits there for a while and then stops loading. I then click Search again and it instantly goes to the search results page. However, I sometimes won't get the results until the third or fourth time trying.

    Any ideas?

She thought Supernatural had ended in 2007 and didn't realize it was still on The CW (she didn't have it on her favorites previously). I was watching Season 8 Episode 14 - Trial and Error and had her come in. (Note that I really also haven't seen it since 2007.)

She could probably catch up on YouTube, couldn't she? She really likes the show, as a lot of you here, such as Cat, do.
