You know what just hit me?

    A piece of toast.

Why did a piece of toast hit me?

I just went to the eye doctor and got my eyes dilated and my brother for some reason thought that meant I would act all drugged up or something, so he tried to test my reflexes by throwing a piece of toast at me.

She may have been distracted for a brief moment when Trois was sneaking out of there, but afterwards she had everything under control. She had enough attention where she was able to hold the conversation Jackson had started. She looked up and gave as a warm a smile as she could, "Hello Blue."

Jackson had offered her an orange, which she accepted, but Canna clearly had the inability to peel the orange at that moment, so she took a huge bite of the peel and spit it out, then she started to suck out the juice.
"I'm working, but I'm just finishing up... only g-"

Trois was on the roof and trying her best to slip off and out of there. Dos had managed to leave the house so the distraction was gone. Dos disappeared after walking down an alleyway. So Trois became Dos.

Dos slipped on the roof when Canna's focus shifted on Jackson, and she slid down a few feet. A scraping sound was heard and she did her best to stop the sliding. As a result, Dos felt the pain of the huge gash now on her arm. But that wasn't her main concern at that moment. She needed to get off the roof.

She alerted those inside, and Canna hoped to whatever deity above that there were no guards inside. Dos ran as fast as she could and jumped across the street onto a more flat roof. She rolled and hid behind a bunch of crates someone had there ready.

Main Canna, the one talking with Jackson, moved the sleeve of her shirt to analyze the cut she had now. That was one of the side effects to multilocation: whatever injuries she sustained happened to all versions. However, his wasn't true of writing. She couldn't write on her arm and have the writing appear on her, which is why she needed Dos to write down the information on her arm, but if Dos was getting injured she had no idea how long they would last.

Canna opened up a bag she had next to her and she began to casually bandage her arm as she spoke quietly,
"Hey Blue, wanna earn 25% of my pay for this job?"

The voice seemingly came out of nowhere telling them to look past the Glen. Still recovering from the hit to the head, Kaida put Glen on the ground right in front of her and then looked over his shoulder and saw the coliseum Mickey spoke of, “Oh hey, it is just past the Glen.” Kaida gave Glen a quick pat on the shoulder before she ran off ahead into the coliseum.

The very first thing she encountered was a bird, a bird that walked. Kaida never recalled seeing such a bird before up close but then remembered from a book of birds she read one time that it was an ostrich. Now, Kaida wasn’t an expert in the area of birds but she wasn’t sure if ballet was exactly a normal sort of behavior. She followed the ostrich as it danced around with other ostriches, eating fruit, batting their eyes at each other, just a bunch of random activities.

She followed the line of birds until they got up to a water fountain, and then suddenly, and without warning, a… creature… popped out of the fountain. Kaida was fairly certain she had never encountered such an animal before and she did not know the name of it. At first, the animal began to get ready for the day almost like a human… eating grapes and using a powder puff to freshen up (though Kaida never really understood the usefulness of powder puffs) then after it was done, the creature put on a tutu and Kaida watched it do ballet just like the ostriches. When the lot of them began to dance, Kaida backed off; worried that the tall creatures would somehow land on her and crush her, even though she was pretty sure they were seemingly harmless.

It may have been because Kaida had been here a while, but she had eventually phased out the music, but with the ballet she couldn’t help but notice the way they kept time with the music. It made Kaida sway a little but she was doing her best to try and pay attention to the area to see if any heartless appeared.

The next thing that appeared however were not heartless, but crocodiles. Kaida definitely knew what a crocodile was at least. There was one reptile with a single feather, going after the one hippo that appeared from the fountain, and the rest of the crocodiles were in black and red capes. At first, Kaida had her hand out ready to summon her keyblade to attack them but then she realized, despite their creepy approaches, they were supposed to be there.

That was when things that didn’t seem to belong began to stick out.

Among the creatures, she noticed one was completely off tempo to the music, and squinting because it was dark, she noticed the black and purple creature with a red tutu as opposed to a pink one. It lunged to attack one of the other creatures and Kaida bolted towards it was fast. She summoned out her keyblade as she ran and performed a sliding dash when she reached the stand out creature.

It toppled over, almost on top of her angrily, and let out a roar. The creatures near Kaida backed up and away to the beat of the music and Kaida’s eyes widened at the creature. She let out a yell as the slashed the creature multiple times with the keyblade before it disappeared into the dark.

Kaida kept an eye out and looked around and realized the dark might make it just that much harder to find the real creatures vs the heartless. This was going to be great!

Hey, I can't judge what people think is bad based on what I think is bad.

For example, it could be Minnesota cold up here, I'll take this snow over below zero temperatures

but if someone from florida is seeing snow for the first time and it's like... I dunno... a dusting and schools are closing because they don't know how to deal with it/don't have the equipment to handle it... I'm probably not gonna sit there like, "Aw poor baby can't deal with a minimal amount of snow."

a brief star wars related rant that's long overdue after years of this bothering me.
    ---

There was a line when I was younger in episode that really stood out to me then, and I was little so I didn't really know the difference at the time. And it was Obi Wan saying, "Anakin my allegiance is to the republic, to democracy!"

It's one of those lines I always find myself remembering for whatever reason in history classes, but earlier this year something happened. I started learning about different forms of government.

Throughout, I was trying to use something as a reference for each one, but then I came across a contradicting issue that kept coming back. The ancient Romans had a republic, and the ancient Greeks had a democracy. But except in the case of the U.S when they created a democratic republic these two were not one in the same.

After making it through a bunch of clone wars lately where they keep preaching about democracy being key to maintain, I am just finally annoyed with it. Because it isn't democracy, it's a republic.

And it isn't even a democratic republic either. Or at least they haven't shown it. They seem to be appointed by the royalty or whoever are the leaders are for each and every planet. They do not represent the people, and most of their decisions don't seem to consider the people either.

Maybe I don't understand intergalatic politics and perhaps they don't work the same during war time but this isn't a democracy dammit.

He thought he'd made at least progress when he'd gotten Wallace on the ground, but he seemed to have a tactic to it. When Jin motioned to just start punching his face in, Wallace kicked and pushed him with his hands, which this time did indeed cause Jin to be pushed back a couple of feet. He held his stomach where the kick had been placed for a moment and quickly examined the area.

They were in a field after all, what better resources could there be than objects in a field?

Jin saw a couple of larger rocks and picked them up. Jin waiting a moment for Wallace to move before he threw the one of the rocks as hard as he could at Wallace's head.

    Tick tock tick tock.

Canna's mission today was taking far too long for her liking. But perhaps it was the fact she was split into three that she was as impatient as she was. Constantly shifting focus between the three she was just to get something of interest to happen by one perspective.

Canna Main, the one that generally did not disappear, was sitting in the main square of Corvus. Main wore an elegant dress which allowed her to not stand out as a peasant amongst the nobles. Though she was a peasant by these noble's standards, at least they wouldn't know unless she conversed with them.

Canna Dos was inside her target's house, dressed up as one of the servants and cleaning based on her "master's" commands. It didn't require communication or very much thought, she worked like a well oiled machine and showed no indication of anything funny going on.

Canna Trois was hiding in the attic of her target's house, searching for the information that would result in her payment. She had been on this mission for two days and it would be done today, but it was a matter of finding the papers required of her. She didn't know why her party needed these papers she just knew she would get quite a hefty sum for it.

Main kept watch from the outside to see if anything horrible went from or if guards were called. Dos was the distraction. Trois was the information extractor. This is exactly why people paid her for her work, they didn't understand how she managed to do the job of three or more people so well.

Main took a bite of a scoop of avocado from her bag and shook her head and fixed her hair as she attempted to detach from the main so the other two, preferably Trois could focus more. It resulted in the red-haired agent looking almost as if she was exhausted or drained.

Trois searched and found a box with a lock and key, she came prepared and pulled out a couple of lockpicks and began her work. After a few minutes of tampering with the lock she opened it up and scanned through a bunch of hidden documents. When she found what she was looking for, she read it as thoroughly as she could and wrote down important numbers and keywords on her arm in ink.

Trois then began to seal everything back up and begin to take her leave. Dos did their best to wrap up and leave, while Main sat there in the square seeming like a relatively-happy but obviously tired girl.

While the roleplayer could have neatly tied up what Kaida had been doing for the majority of the time, it was mostly sensory overload. Within only a hour or so Kaida had been fighting weasels, fighting brooms, swimming, killing super-sized lizards, and now she was somewhere new. Mostly keeping up busy work at that point but definitely right then.

Through their antics, a swarm of even more heartless showed up. Normally she would have had some sort of sick or tired reaction but at this point she felt null and used to it. Taking in a deep breath upon seeing Glen getting swarmed since he now had the piece, Kaida let out a shout and came in with a sliding dash. She had a lot of built up energy from somewhere and she just ended up wrecking up house as much as she could and trying to clear up some sort of path for Glen to get the hell out of there.

After a few minutes of clearing she started taking deep breaths and turned to Glen, "Alright Tipsy let's move!" she kept clearing up as much as she can mumbling to herself, "I am the furthest thing from a Warrior and all this is is hack and slash." she waited for a moment to see if Glen was moving but just so the roleplayer didn't end up godmodding we'll say Kaida got impatient and stopped to take in the surroundings. There were a ridiculous amount of plant heartless spawned now, and while she knew Glen was still a capable fighter while drunk she wasn't sure how fast he was. And she knew based on past experience they ran about the same speed, but it was probably best to just get the both Glen and the piece out of there.

Kaida summoned away her keyblade, ran over to Glen, and picked him up. Upon realizing how weak she was it was probably a terrible idea but she didn't show her struggle as she just suddenly took off running through the path she had created and she did her best to get run back and leave. She kicked a couple heartless that grabbed her legs as she ran and she nearly tripped a couple of times. She mumbled to Glen, "I know you probably could have run and I just made this needlessly complicated it was something that seemed good at the time and now I'm not sure if this was a good id- AH" Kaida felt something collide with her head in full force, which made her dizzy as she shouted, "SSSSumbud git dem clearred pwease!" as she did her best to keep moving.

guys I'm just going to give you a little look into the Massachusetts life right now.

    ---

    week three:
snow days so far/called in snow days= 8

    status:
we officially have more than 7 feet of snow on the ground, we have nowhere else to put it and coastal towns and cities may start to dump the snow in the harbor. This is something other places are doing already.

roofs are beginning to cave in on people's houses.
schools are beginning to close until February 23rd
they had to stop MBTA services
plows have to much to worry about that they haven't even made it to side streets yet

and on top of it all another snow storm is heading our way.

so for the hell of it I'm gonna link some pictures I can find of the storm, I hope you all are doing well wherever you are.

I just want to let you know in a not-so-standard way ... I did in fact read this thread but it was like, 7am when I read it and I wasn't fully awake. I remember passing out as I tried reading it not because you were boring, it was a great speech, but because I couldn't stay conscious. But it got into my head subconsciously even though I couldn't remember the content specifically.

I got to school, we had a two hour delay, and I had a coffee and was doing my best to stay awake throughout school and I came across the girl I've had a crush on for a long time [for the sake of having a name, let's call this girl Emily, even though that isn't her real name]. I'm not really one to come out and really admit to a crush, especially since this person was a close friend of mine and I know how her parents are, they are both very religious in their own special ways. Emily also just... doesn't seem like me when it comes to sexual orientation. Hell I can't explain my own because one minute I'm loving a girl, I'm loving a guy, I don't even know.

I have been afraid to tell her my feelings. I was worried not as much about rejection, but over whether or not we'd still be friends after that. I was worried that Emily might turn out to be as super religious as some of my other friends and she'd leave me alone. It's not that I haven't come out of the closet before in this school, it's just a matter of whether or not she'd still accept me. Whether thing would be the same.

So of course, everytime I looked at Emily, the words "are you afraid of change?" kept coming to mind. all day today, completely random and I couldn't figure out why. But it eventually built up where I had a near breakdown in calculus today. But that's when I realized: I have been using so many excuses to not just go and tell her already.

Not entirely sure what came over me but as we were walking home from the school bus I pulled her to the side so Emily's sister and my brother couldn't hear me. And I just kind of said awkwardly, "I've been meaning you tell you this for a while but... I like you... but not like in the friend way. I still like you as a friend but like, I like you as more than a friend. And I'm not sure how you feel but I needed to tell you."

After a couple of minutes we came to the conclusion that she didn't like me the same way, but that wasn't going to stop her from being my friend. And she thought I was a moron for waiting for so long if I felt this way for two years [yeah, two years of this is ridiculous looking back on it iunno]

So I got home feeling this huge weight off my shoulders and I came back turned on the computer and saw this and realized, "Oh... so this is Glen's fault."

Didn't get to respond sooner but I guess now is a better time than any to just say, thank you for sharing this.

Wow it has been a weird day.

    Character Name: Canna Glorey
    Age: 19
    Appearance: here
Personality: Canna is street smart but she is barely able to hold a conversation. She tends to avoid conversation, but she usually appears to be friendly, with a welcoming smile on her face. Canna is very serious when it comes to tasks, but no so serious when it comes to anything else [even deaths]. When she uses her power, the more locations she is in, the less intellegent she seems. She tends to be more talkative the more splits there are.
Brief Bio: Canna is a for hire espionage agent who's side tends to depend on what the reward will be. She isn't an assassin however, and has never killed or even harmed anyone before, and she isn't about to start. Canna tends to choose not to remember her past for no reason other than protecting her loved ones.
Magic/Powers: Multi-location: the ability to be in two or more places at once. It isn't the same as cloning. She is physically able to be in two places at once, but her mental capabilities can only go so far, because she splits her consciousness into two or more [usually only two]. If once of her dies, all of her dies.
    Weapon: None
Additional Information: Canna really likes avocados. Why? I dunno.
