Kaida had yet to respond when the figure had answered the other's questions, and then directly addressed her. He mentioned her disrupting world order, and while it was most likely meant to be addressed to everyone, that accusation hurt her more for an obvious reason. She was a member of the Order, someone who was supposed to help maintain the order within worlds, and here she was yet again disrupting that order. Although her expression didn't change, the look in her eyes definitely showed a hint of regret towards this.

But the figure had mentioned something else, mentioned something about a friend. It was almost as if they intentionally pushed this fact towards her. Was this all for a friend? If it was, which friend was it? Was it for the new friends that surrounded her, or possibly Seiza? Or was this all for Aux, since at that point he was still a figure in the background that she had yet to see, but she saw the after effects of? She hadn't a clue. And on top of it, the figure made mention of her being selfish rather than doing good.

She tried to think of a response to this, and for a moment, remembered her home-world. She remembered playing a flute with a group of other kids and getting a lesson that clicked with this moment. And she looked up at the figure and replied, "Yeah, you're right. We... I have caused trouble here in this world and have thrown off the balance. It looks bad, I know that, but we are trying to help out everyone. And I mean everyone. Sometimes when playing through a song, and instrument or two can have serious issues happen. But you can't stop a song, you have to work your way through it. It's improvisation... and I'm not saying someone should willingly change the song in order to please themselves. I'm saying when something goes wrong, that someone should step up and try to help the song continue."

Kaida scratched the back of her head, "I'm not the best with metaphors but what I'm trying to say is that we only jumped in to try and help out when we saw the heartless. When there were no heartless we didn't disrupt the world, we stayed to the sidelines and experienced the music rather than change it. But yes, we came in here for selfish reasons to get the notes, but those notes are stepping stones to helping out more people, fixing up more worlds. So yes, those notes are important to me, to all of us here."

She wasn't sure if she missed something, but Glen and Stratos seemed to be in some sort of CG fight? She wasn't truly paying much attention to it. Thinking the blue demon had enough people covering it for now, Kaida continued to attack with magic towards the black demon. She attacked until she realized her magic was all used up... for now.

Since she had her one on one time with the blue demon already, she decided this time to run into the fray of many people fighting the black demon and she shot whatever magic she had equipped because the roleplayer didn't have the initiative to check. When enough damage was done the black demon tried to attack back but this time Kaida didn't just take it like she had been and instead she rolled out of the way, let out a laugh, and then got swung at a second time which she missed dodging.

Kaida recovered from her attacking and seemed to be ignoring the going-ons of her partners since they seemed to be handling themselves fine and she wanted to focus more on what she was doing. Like her usual flash of lightning appearance, she ran as fast as she could up to specifically the blue demon and beat the ever-living daylights out of it until it attacked her back.

Kaida had waited a bit to see how the demons had been affected by attacks before she tried her own, because she wanted to avoid screwing this up too. She slide behind the blue demon and slashed at it maybe 11 times before she rolled over to the black demon and shot a couple blasts of fire at it. The black demon responded by slashing at kaida who flew back from the damage and took a moment to recover.

Canna finished up wrapping up her arm and closed her eyes to put her full focus on Dos, then after a minute or so she turned to Jackson with a slight smile on her face and spoke quietly so passerbys didn't hear her, "So I'm also on the roof of a house across the street from the Zastia mansion. It's on Elm street, you really shouldn't miss it, the mansion is really big and has a red roof. I'll get your attention if I see you. Anyway, I am stuck on that roof and unable to leave because I accidentally alerted the Zastia guards..."

Canna pointed to her left arm and spoke,
"I have information on my left arm I need to get to my client. I need you to either copy down the information somehow, or get me out of there. I'm sure you can distract the guards somehow, you've got such an explosive personality after all."

Dos listened to the commotion around her. Someone had pointed in her general area when people were asking about people running. A crazy old man mentioned something about someone "flying through the air" so they were checking out roofs. Dos quickly searched through her bag to see if she had some rope to get down from the roof.

This particular area was complicated to get down from because it was not a slanted roof. She would have to walk right to the edge which would give away her location almost instantly. She wouldn't do that until she was sure someone was covering for her.

Disregarding whatever reason why Kaida had not participated in the rest of the battle, she was finally doing something. With her speed at that point, she liked to imagine she looked like lighting flashing past everyone when she went after the remainder of their foes. She wasn't using magic because she didn't exactly use anything impressive, but she hoped that her combos looked flashy enough so it didn't seem lackluster.

Because no one was really checking to see if all were accounted for, when there was one demon left (since she got the other... two?) she made a really large leap and swung her keyblade down with a battle cry as she finished him off.

After landing, Kaida looked at the seen with a grin on her face, "So that's what it feels like delivering the final blows. No wonder you guys like to do those flashy moves."

Introductions were cool, it was nice being able to know a few more people in this great big world. It was unfortunate she had to make friends from the aftermath of a battle but it was still pretty cool. Lexi was a fantastic mood for the rest of the festival, and stared up in admiration at 20 winners of the S.N.C. Every time there was one, she qualified to participate, but had an extenuating circumstance that made it impossible for her to make it.

Someday she'd be one of those 20 winners, representing low-brass. Trombones were a foundation, not a feature, but they could shine in the spotlight every once in a while.

She didn't expect to get phone numbers, so when phone number exchange occurred she immediately pulled her phone out of her left boot, where she pretty much kept her life. She even had a pipe tuner in there, which helped her tune the trombone. People didn't understand when she explained that because trombones may seem like one big tuning slide, but sometimes things go horribly wrong.

Someone mentioned the Inn Harmonia after a few of them left and she shook her head,
"Inns get expensive for people travelling alone. I'm staying at a hostel, I don't remember what it's called, but it's next to the Bar Line."

Lexi bowed her hat to the new acquaintances and finalized,
"Take care." Before turning around and heading to the hostel at which she stayed for the night.

For Ula, the wait for something to happen was rather... boring. Even with a pretzel to munch on, she was still in the mood to do something. After all, that was the reason they were there, weren't they? Instead she'd been a little too punctual, which resulted in her sitting on the bench tapping her feet somewhat impatiently. But really, she had gotten there in decent time and had all of the supplies handed to her on the monorail. She had picked an orange MyMagic+ band on her left wrist, which was hidden slightly by her flannel shirt fleeves being all the way rolled down, and a white lanyard on her neck and was ready to get pins and powerups to get her keyblade at 100% functionality. She loved a challenge.

When people finally had arrived, a man that matched Tali's description of Mitch was freaking out over the pretzel. She didn't know, Tali had just handed it to her so she had something as she waited. This didn't make Ula feel any guiltier, if Mitch wanted his pretzel so bad he could have it. She wasn't done with it after all.

Tali proceeded to physically abuse Mitch to add to the mental abuse and a big cuddly looking balloon appeared. Which was actually a robot, but it looked so squishy. She wanted to give him a hug but she felt that would just be rude to take away from the apparent healthcare he was providing Mitch.

He went away after Mitch was satisfied with his care and she frowned slightly. They went over more business and explained how they should go and meet and greet people. She hadn't introduced herself to the other keyblade wielders but apparently she didn't have to.

A blueberry walked up to her and introduced himself as Ao, and introduced her to Glen, Saino, and Winter as well... and he somehow knew her name. Did someone mention it on the monorail or something? She stared in an absolute confusion over this matter before he continued on. Ula adjusted her hat and mumbled, "I-I never said my- nevermind..."

On that note, they were given absolute freedom. And by absolute freedom she meant she was allowed to move around. She was definitely going to take advantage of that. With a found energy, she power-walked to the main street that had people for her to meet. With a slight smile, she walked up to two colorful [and by colorful she didn't mean colorful as much as she meant they looked like she was in for some interesting conversation] looking characters.

Ula Approached The Mayor and Dr. Finklestein

She approached and tipped her fedora slightly to them and smiled, "Hello there, my name's Ula."

By "family" I meant my two brothers, my dad, and I. My dad has always felt, and has always said he has felt, more emotionally composed when it is just my brothers and I when we are all together. When we made that decision for the autopsy, it was because it was a whole other process for paperwork and phone calls and meetings and time for something we didn't think was that big of a deal. My mother was relatively healthy, and didn't have anything that the doctors tested when she was alive that would have indicated she had a disease we never knew about.

In regards the the weight of what my aunts can do, it depends on the permissions my father gives.

My overall complaint isn't really a complaint. I want to know if I am rightfully pissed off at the fact that they purposefully avoided asking my brothers and I how I felt about it until it was too late for us to do anything. I'm not upset over the fact they want to know, I understand that, I'm upset over the avoid-the-kids game they played.

I had not brought this topic to the forum outside of roleplayers, close friends, and staff, but my mother had died a few days ago unexpectedly. We don't really know what happened, and when it comes to my dad, my two brothers, and I, we don't really want to know. It's a load on our shoulders we don't want and we're upset right now, but we're doing out best to hang on.

My mother dying is unfortunately a break in a dam that is causing more stress than I need right now, and I need a little help from people who do not have a connection to my town or my family.

In order to understand family **** going on, you need to have the basic family situation:

My father has 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Both brothers have a wife and 2 of the five sisters have husbands. Two of the aunts are widows, one of these widows remarried, the other sister (not the other widow) has a boyfriend/fiance(I don't really know). He still has his father and mother alive but I'm just saying that to note it, they aren't involved.

My mother was adopted, but when I was 5, found her birth mother. They have had a respectful relationship ever since then, where they have been there for us. My mom's adopted father (who she has always considered her father) died when she was 15, but her adopted mother (who she has ALWAYS considered her mother) died when I was 7. My mom has her birth brother, and her adopted sister.

My family is very big on the "friends are the family you choose" philosophy. We have four honorary aunts and two honorary uncles. We have a lot more friends than that, but we only have so many honorary aunts and uncles.

    situation 1:
On the day after my mom died, my dad had three of his sisters over and one of my honorary uncles. They kept having "Secret meetings" with each other throughout the house all day. Occasionally pushing my dad into his room (which they were aware was a sore point for everyone in the house right then). I didn't understand it, I thought they were doing their own coping mechanism and I let it be.

I found out when I walked in on one of them and they stopped talking, they were avoiding talking in front of me. At that point I tried to talk to my dad and my aunts wouldn't let me. That was when I realized and found out officially they were having my dad make decisions under his emotional stress without consulting us first.

At that point, they were trying to get my father to get an autopsy for my mother.

Now you guys probably don't think this is a big deal but it really was to me. We all had agreed as a family that we did not want an autopsy. We think the doctor's unofficial report that it was a blood clot was fine for us. We don't think it was genetic, we know my mom was fine. But my aunts and my uncle wanted to know in case the doctor did something liable on them.

They told my father to forget about the kids' decision and get the autopsy "for us" so we would know if it was genetic.

I am 18 years old. I am my dad's kid, yes, but I am an adult. And I am still furious over the fact they made this decision after we had this closed out. In the end, we didn't get one, we wasted a day on it. But these aunts are upset because they wanted to know. But we didn't. I don't know how to handle this one.

    situation 2:
My mom's adopted sister (who she just calls her sister) has always had hot blood over the fact my mom knew her birth mother. Mainly because my aunt does not know her's. My aunt has never really shown that much care or interest in my family ever. But so help us if we don't acknowledge her children. My aunt hasn't said happy birthday to me in three years, but since my mom forgot to call on my cousin Jon's birthday, she got a riot act.

My aunt wants to rekindle her relationship with us. She wants to be be more involved. I want her as far away from my life as possible.

I've posted and bitched about how horrible a person I think my aunt is before, especially in my post in sensitive content, but I don't want to link that because it's hard to read that story right now. But this aunt is awful. I'm sorry, but I cannot justify anything she does.

She harassed my mom when she was alive, she harassed my mom's birth mother because she "doesn't have the right to mourn for her", and she now wants to be a part of my life. Why? because she couldn't be when my mom was alive.

If I need more expansion on situation two, let me know, but I'm posting now.

I may be speaking from a very biased perspective right now but I still think Big Hero 6 deserved the oscar just as much as how to train your dragon 2 did. I haven't really seen the other nominations and I feel bad for writing them off like that. The problem with the awards in general is that they don't have people passionate about animation judging animation. At this point I just wish we had a different ceremony entirely for animated anything.
