Actualy if you read ansems reports in depth Sora shouldn't have become a Shadow. Shadows and other Heartless with emblems are pure dark Heartless meaning they don't even have a heart to base their Darkness off of. But Sora should of had an equaly strong Heartless as his Nobody. He isn't the keyblade master of Light Mickey is or Kairi after KH2. And Riku is Darkness Sora is Twilight. I realy think they did it because they thought it would be easy and cool
