Series: Gurren Lagann Age: 14 Sex: Male Abilities: Possesses a lot of 'Spiral Energy' Although he is unsure how to tap into it and is also rather unaware of it at first. Weapons: The core drill around his neck if that counts. Personality: Unsure, timid, easily inspired. (This later changes drastically) Paired with: Lagann, Gurren Lagann (with Kamina and Gurren) Bio: As a boy, Simon is physically underdeveloped for his age, standing at little more than 4-feet tall. He wears a long sleeved blue and red jacket and short brown pants, topped with a pair of yellow and red goggles and brown work shoes. He has indigo hair and wide eyes with small pupils, and his iris color was eventually revealed to be an almost the same color as his hair. Simon also ties on shin splits and sports a cloth waistband, and the Core Drill hangs from a fastened leather string around his neck. Originally, Simon wore a dusty brown cloak, which eased his passage through the narrow tunnels of the underground, but this cloak was blown off by the wind during the initial escape from Giha Village. Though valued as one of the most skilled diggers in Giha Village, Simon is ignored by the adults and snubbed by the girls, who consider him disgusting because of his peculiar habits and odd smell. Lacking parental figures to help him mature, along with his fear of earthquakes, Simon is plagued by low self-esteem and has many cowardly tendencies. Even after his friendship with Kamina, he continues to act cowardly and doubts his own abilities. However, Kamina's inspirational speeches gives Simon just enough confidence to endure his fears and to accomplish something. Series: Gurren Lagann Age: 17 Sex: Male Abilities: Badass manly speeches that can inspire even the lowest to reach their true potential, and the regular abilities induced by extreme ham and the power of wearing sunglasses indoors. Weapons: A badass long Katana. Personality: Loud, confident, badass, fatherly, caring, ham. Paired with: Gurren, Gurren Lagann (With Simon and Lagann) Bio: a young man from Giha, a subterranean village, who dreams of leaving the underground and going to the surface, a place which he alone believes he saw as a child. Possessing a seemingly arrogant personality, Kamina is very passionate about his goals and will pursue them without a trace of fear, hesitation, or sometimes sense. This attitude often manifests itself in dramatic speeches which have the power to rally all those who hear them to his call. As his first act of notoriety, Kamina forms "Team Gurren" and convinces his "soul-brother," Simon, to help him with his plan to drill through the roof of the village and get to the world above. However, the plan fails. Kamina willingly takes the blame for disrupting the peace and is jailed by the village chief. At night, Simon breaks him out to show him an extraordinary artifact he unearthed, only to be interrupted by a large Gunmen that crashes through the village's ceiling. A young girl sharpshooter named "Yoko" descends from the surface and ends up joining Kamina and Simon as they pilot the newly unearthed Gunmen Kamina names "Lagann". Together, they defeat the invading Gunmen and reach the surface in the process. After the trio breaks through, they meet many enemies and friends as they continue forward. The once two-member "Team Gurren" expands to the size of an entire resistance force aiming to overthrow the Beastman Empire. Kamina leads this force and names it "Team Dai-Gurren". In general... lots of drills from seemingly nowhere. Weapons: Lagann can merge with other Mecha, Drills, Sunglasses... More Drills and the power of bullshit effectively. Paired with: Simon and Kamina (later... ??????) Bio: Look at the above Bio's for Simon and Kamina Other information: Gurren and Lagann count as parts to Gurren Lagann and therefore are classed as a single Mecha. I also have claims on: Yoko, Kittan, Leeron (counts as Staff) Nia (counts as Staff) and Viral for later (enemies don't count towards character thingies.). Forms for these guys will come as needed. This has been approved in advance for the record.
"Dayum... This place sure is freaky. And trust me, I know freaky." Haruka muttered as she watched all the ensuing events and followed the others through the access point. After hearing the others talk about stronger shadows she decided to add in her thoughts. "Well, we're stronger too. You guys got me now don't'cha forget." she said as she linked her fingers through the holes in her personal knuckle daggers. "We'll just have to get stronger ourselves even more if they get tougher." Then a thought occurred to her. "Kurosawa could probably help us too!" she said excitedly as she looked at the others, mainly at Holden and Terri who she knew better than the rest of her team members. "He's the one who gave me these, and he helped the guys from years ago right? He can probably help get you guys better equipped than how we are currently." she told them as she gestured to the weapons on her fists. "Sounds good right?" she winked to finish. She just wanted to be able to help contribute to this group in other ways. After all, they were all in it together now.
I'd still like to discuss living conditions. I mean it makes sense that some characters would be room-mates. But we still should discuss who lives with who if with anyone at all. :/ As an example, with Tyler being childhood friends with Ana, they would more likely to be room-mates than with other people. Of course though, that doesn't mean they have to live together. So yeah lol I'm curious as to how this will work, as obviously living conditions will influence a few things RP wise.
So despite differences, I have expressed interest in the super Robot RP. I dunno what is going to happen in regards to this, but if it is the case...

Technically no. If you check the date this thread was posted, it was just yesterday. So no offence, but if no one is joining your RP, it's because no one is joining it. Not because of a thread that has just started. I mean, considering how long your RP has been about, if no one has joined it, you can't blame this RP for that. Although, I'm gonna take it that you realised this yourself based on your last post. Also, I feel I should add that if you're gonna post in an OOC thread, it should actually be for something relevant to the RP rather than to just make an irrelevant comment about another RP entirely. It can be seen as rather disrespectful posting such a thing like you did when the RP is looking for prospective new members. ~ Now to get back on topic and follow my own advice. Garx! Meh, I can wait on this... after all; I'm still waiting for them to release Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. So what does it matter waiting for yet another game? *sigh* lol PSO2 does look like it'll be amazing though once ready. From everything I've seen so far anyway.
Episodes: 13 (so far, but may be more) Second Season?: There will be, I'm sure. Everyone is saying this was the last episode for the season, although the ending was ambiguous to whether we'll see one next week. (I'll update this once I know for sure) If this was the last ep, then there should be a second season for sure I would think. Plot Summary: The story revolves around Kinjirō Sakamachi, a 17 year old high school boy who suffers from gynophobia. The gynophobia sickness makes his nose bleed every time he has physical contact with a female. While using the bathroom he accidentally discovers that the popular and handsome butler Subaru Konoe is in fact a girl. Now that Kinjirō knows about Subaru's secret, he must work together with Subaru and her sadistic mistress, Kanade, to protect Subaru’s secret from being discovered. My thoughts: This was another of my favourites from the Summer Line up of 2011. It's wonderful, charming, funny and cute. Well, it's a whole lot more. But it's truly awesome. I love all of the characters in this. Every single little quirk that they have is played upon perfectly and the blend of story works so well that this anime will leave you laughing and crying, perhaps even at the same time. I literally can't find anything I want to fault about this anime really. lol I cannot be sure, but I believe that a second season will be coming, just based on the loose ends it had left over. ~ But yeah. Anyone else watch this anime? Any thoughts etc? (Please remember to spoiler tag things if you're gonna talk about story elements, so as not to ruin things for people who may wish to watch it but haven't yet. Thanks. XD)

Heh... I may have a plan for Tyler's first post. But I'm not gonna be the first poster in this lol. I'm gonna wait first. Also, I'm thinking I may do this in first person, cause I like how things turned out on my OC form and cause it's a 'real-life' RP, First person feels more personal. I'm just wondering what other people are gonna do anyway?
