    Negi Sample Compilation 1.wmv

A few things I should mention.

I used Audacity to heighten the pitch of my voice. And I muted everything except the voices, so no sound effects or BGM; so it might sound a little weird. I'm thinking of doing a slight pitch change to at least one voice for the people that are doing multiple ones, so they don't necessarily sound the same. :)

I also uploaded a sample clip of my REAL voice too, but I'm gonna hold off on that for the time being...:sly:

Not necessarily. We've still got one or two male parts left open. And I think we're desperate enough to have a male do a female voice if need be...

    Status Update...

There hasn't exactly been many updates recently. I was able to get Haruna's lines, but I'm waiting for a retake on Chisame and Chiu. For the scene with Haruna to work, though, Yue's lines are needed too.

I guess the only major thing worth mentioning is that we found a replacement Negi since VGN can't do it. :D

Other than that, not much else to say except we've still got open spots and still awaiting lines from people.

    Current Update Status...

I believe I owe you all an explanation of why it's been taking me so long for an update. I've been working on this next chapter for the past couple weeks, but progress has been pretty slow. Although everything has been leading up to this point, I underestimated how complex this battle was going to be.

I mean, sure it wasn't bad doing a two-on-one battle. Kairi and Naminé versus an Organization member was pretty manageable. Three-on-one wasn't so bad. Sora, Riku and Kairi versus Yamikai wasn't bad either. But trying to write a battle of three versus ALL thirteen is a bit much. It's not impossible, but trying to direct eighteen different personalities and movements...

Let's just say this is taking me longer than I originally thought. It'll get done. But I want it to be as great as I hyped it up to be. Thank you for your patience. :)

Zack raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms defiantly. "Hey, don't blame this one on me. I didn't even get to touch you this time." He jerked his head toward the doty old wizard. "It was all Obi-Wanobi there."

OOC: Nah. Erkz always waits until both the defense and the prosecution are present. To be honest, they could always do it without me. I'm on neither side after all. :xp:

OOC: Thanks for the offer, but I prefer fighting from the sidelines as support. It wouldn't be a fair fight otherwise. :xp: Besides, I'd rather be able to attack through Zack indirectly than taking on both Xelax and Janexna. Playing as Edgeworth is tempting, but I don't like changing controllers in the middle of the game. You brought in Edgeworth. You can always take him out.

BIC: Zack looked over at the ol' geezer in the funny hat. True, he felt tremendous power coming from him, but in he wasn't exactly an Obi-Wan. The bailiff wondered if he should continue with the judge's order or allow this Yen Sid to revive the furball like he said he would...

His hesitation allowed fate to answer for him. The wizard did his magic. And the yellow rodent would live to fight again...

Unfortunately for Mewtwo, the Psychic sensors were still online, enabling Zack to instantly know what happened. Zack had turned off all the anti-psychic equipment when it seemed the Pokémon had left, but his reappearance made it clear he would use his Psychic powers with no consequence. He gave a quick glare toward the psychic chump and considered reanimating Pikachu via adrenaline shot just to spite him. Instead he turned to the judge again and said, "Maybe we should consider putting back on that Psychic Dampener or whatever you called it. Because if not, I'm activating the Psychic Feedback again."

  10. Destiny's Force
Kairi knew what Naminé was thinking via telepathic bond and she whole-heartedly agreed. The Pokémon was feigning stupidity on purpose. For what reason was anyone's guess...

Every single person in the courtroom was against the Pokémon prosecutor and Zack knew it. He glanced up at the judge. "I can shut him up if you want," he muttered out of the side of his mouth. "Quick, painless, and best of all, no casualties." But then there was the dilemma. Which would the court have preferred: a Pokémon who wouldn't shut up or a Pokémon that would be annoying everyone mentally? Decisions, decisions...

Naminé was starting to wonder if the Pokémon was doing all of this on purpose. Maybe he WANTED to be taken out of the case. And if that were true, then Mewtwo would be taking over again. But didn't they already agree to switch between cases already? Doing this just made it seem like Mr. Power was doing nothing but prolonging the trial as long as possible. Maybe he wanted a penalty just so he could say to Xelax that they were on even ground. What was he up to?

Zack felt the strange feeling of impending doom come over him again. Then he realized that the security system finally picked up the trace of the cat once again. And it was coming from...Zack looked at the readings again. Inside the judge's drawer? What the hell was he doing in there? Unless...

The gears finally clicked. He went into the backroom and pulled out a can of "Pest-Be-Gone," absorbed it into his weaponry, then walked out as if nothing happened. "Computer," he whispered, "lock down primary target. Maximize all Cheshire Cat counter-measures." There was a confirmed reply in his earpiece that the cat could no longer use any of its powers. This demon wasn't going to plague the courthouse ever again...

OOC: Agreed. You free that furball and Zack's stuffing it down a wormhole with a one-way ticket to the Underworld's Basin of Souls. Then he'll be Hades' problem. :xp:

  14. Destiny's Force
Zack was seriously wondering if maybe the judge was just an avatar, a shell being spoken through by the real judge who was watching and listening to the whole thing via hidden cameras and microphones. That would explain his long pauses and the comatose states every five minutes. But what was really interesting was the fact that for some reason, he felt slightly more cheerful for some reason. Like an evil presence had finally been purged or captured. He didn't know how to explain it, but his "evil" soul seemed to have been purified. He just couldn't wait to get the next two defendants over with. The way Denise and Janexna seemed to fawn over them...What did they have that he didn't? He had red hair, muscular, wore leather... Zack just couldn't figure them out...

Well, the way I see it, in KH, those pillars of light were just portals through the hearts of all the worlds. The KH2 light that you're talking about was just the effect from the "digitizer" of Ansem's computer. Or were you talking about something completely different?

Kairi giggled at Riku's understatement. "It beats being bored, though. Right?" Of course, she was still slightly worried about the bailiff's outburst. After being calm and collected, the simple presence of the Cheshire Cat made him snap. What was even more frightening to think about was that Zack seemed to have been holding back his true strength as not to hurt any more than that had already been caught in the crossfire.

Zack could sense that Xelax was about to do a Godot special. In any other circumstance, he would've went and intercepted it. But he was a bit cranky with the fuzzball's stubborn streak and the cat's cowardly fleeing. In other words, a nice cup of sulfuric acid would be exactly what the prosecutor deserved. Of course, there was the problem of the psychic interfering if that happened...

OOC: Seriously, has anyone seen Erkz lately? This is taking WAAAAY longer than it should have...:sideways:

Kairi groaned and rubbed her face in frustration. Why, why, why was this Pokémon prosecutor making everything so difficult?! The damn trial was done and over with. Luxord was guilty of theft. That was completely obvious. The defense even agreed to it. Unless Mr. Power was just stalling until the judge woke up, there was really no point in the complete facade that he was causing. Maybe the bailiff could do something when he finally calmed down...

Zack could feel the frustration in the courtroom. The judge was taking one of his oblong pauses in conscious thought. He was seriously considering just taking over as judge himself. Especially if this one was nothing more than an avatar...

  20. Destiny's Force
Instead of raging after the escaped feline, Zack unexpectedly started to chuckle. He shook his head in amusement. "You may call me naive, purple pussy, but by running, you only proved my point. You're an egotistical, smug coward who'd rather run from problems than face them." He shut the windows and sealed them. "And I guess you're the only cat who likes water," he said as the rain outside continued to downpour. He turned back to the court, grabbed Stitch by the collar in one hand, the Judge's gavel in the other, and used it to transport Stitch back into the safe.

As a precaution, he kept the security systems around the windows, doors and vents locked on the Cheshire Cat. Zack wouldn't fall for the same trick twice. And he locked Tron out of the security systems with a "Labyrinth" and a "Randomization" firewall. "I only let you into the security system as a sign of good faith. That was your one and only chance. Until you're needed, you'll be held within the Pit Cell with Observation functions only." Zack walked back to the judge's side and looked angrily out toward the courtroom. Usually it was a front, but this time he had a reason. The malicious demon got away, but at least he put two beings back where they should've been in the first place.
