"These keyblades aren't just good for doors and locks, we fight heartless with them t-...oh... I wonder...", Kaida decided to try something a little different. The blonde summoned out her keyblade and took a moment to see just how thin it was between the bars. While she herself could not slip through, she saw that they keyblade could since it was thin enough. Kaida noticed the mad doctor seemed poorly put together and she figured, maybe if she could throw her keyblade at him as if throwing a spear, she could hit him hard enough for it to hurt him, summon it back, and then demand to be let out.

Kaida took a moment and took a deep breath and put her arm back just enough to have energy in the throw (since the cages didn't allow for too much free space but just enough) and Kaida threw the keyblade in the direction of the mad doctor, since he apparently seemed to have his focus on Karina anyway. She hoped it'd be just enough, and if it worked others could get in on it and do the same thing. What was he supposed to do when everyone found a means of attacking?

My dad evaded talking about the fact that his girlfriend was going to be homeless by thanksgiving if she couldn't get into another section 8 house so for thanksgiving I get to be thankful this woman I don't know is now living in my basement after my father failed to inform his children of her situation, that she would be moving in, and did not ask them how they felt about it. On top of it she keeps calling my dad down and he's been staying down there for hours so far and is not watching the parade with us, has not started cooking, and the heat isn't working.

Well... I guess I'm thankful I'm home, with my brothers, in a house.

That's a step beyond some people I suppose.

So I decided since I was bored out of my mind that I would buy Knight of the Old Republic on steam. And as much as I love this game it's glitches are a friggin nightmare. The Xbox ran this game better. Maybe it's because of my OS but still.

Anyway, I've been having a grand ol' time with it but there are always worlds I just groan at when I have to go back to them. And I'm back at Manaan. The only good thing about this world is that there are a lot more ethical decisions brought up here that are subtle as opposed to going to Korriban and getting a Sith speech or Dantooine and getting a jedi speech.

But everything changes when I have to walk slowly underwater in a diver suit. I get so bored I am almost lulled to sleep by it.

Ula was fine without her cellphone. She only used it for emergency purposes since she didn't really like cellphone culture. She preferred things more organic and lively, intimate and person to person. This was probably why she was very kinesthetic and wanted to be an adventurer. Though she was wondering if she was the only seasoned adventurer here. She didn't like to judge books by their covers but one looked very shut in and she didn't get the impression they got out much, the other looked like they walked out of a Hot Topic and decided to become an adventurer at the sound of free park trip, and the other one scared her a little. But she didn't like to make assumptions like that so she erased that and waited for their actions to make impressions instead.

When they were introduced to Tali, she started to wonder if everyone here was of Scottish or Irish decent with their last names and all. Then they were told to board the train. Ula did so without any problems and looked through the window on the other side to see the Magic Kingdom, and her eyes must have lit up like a child's as she ran over to a spot where she could see it more clearly and all she did was stare at it. If anyone began explaining things she would listen while being unable to take her eyes off of something that she never imagined she'd get to see in person until she was older and richer.

Kaida listened to this Mad Doctor sing and she never felt more annoyed. It didn't help that Karina immediately started yelling after. She became quickly under the assumption that Karina was trying to distract or stall him, but she wasn't sure how distracting Karina could be doing that. She quickly tried to decode his little riddle and looked at the board. So she figured out slowly what the four ways were.

So firsthand, to get out they could somehow gather enough hearts Mad Doctor style and leave. Or if they could get out of these cages, they all had the right of key, the keyblade she assumed. That meant if they could get out of the cages they could get out of the wasteland. Then there were a couple more options, to hope someone sends down a rope to help, or be recognized for good deeds. Did anyone do any good deeds here that could get them recognized enough? She hadn't a clue.

Kaida leaned into the bars and took a deep breath, closing her eyes and trying to remember all those useless classes she took when she was younger and she opened her eyes and said in a speak-sing type rather than full blown singing.

"So let me get this straight, you looney sadist
Who's singing isn't exactly the greatest.
The only ways out of this greyish wasteland,
are ways that out of this cage would demand?
I'm sorry but none of us here are that willing,
to give your our hearts or to do your bidding...
So if you don't mind, you should just let us out.
Our hearts aren't pure, they're filled with confusion and doubt."

Kaida stepped back from the cage and said, "What is the point of this useless poetry? Does it fill you with happiness or some sort of glee?"

Questing was nothing new to Ula Finnin. But Disney parks was definitely a new one. While she was familiar with Disney, I mean who wouldn't be? She had never been to a Disney park. This was probably because she was broke and she figured this was a good opportunity to mix her adventuring with a chance to go to a Disney park. Ula sat in the boat not talking to anyone else that may or may not have been in there. She was looking out at the view to assess what she would be working with. Sure, she could have looked up pictures but that didn't mean there weren't any big changes that caused a lack of safety for the employees.

Oh wait, they call them "cast members", trying to make everyone sound important from the Janitor to the Executive. Riiight.

Ula continuously adjusted her hair and her hat. This time she wore more of a beanie than her usual fedoras or scally caps. It went better with her black and gray flannel. She didn't want to have the chimney sweep on broadway look if she wore the scally cap.

When the boat docked, Ula got up and walked out. She had her hands in her pocket as she looked around, particularly over at the tall Contemporary Resort. That was definitely something different. She was kind of in the mood for a pretzel. But now was not the time to worry about food, she figured she'd get that later. Not waiting for others to get off she looked and saw the man with his hands behind his back clearly waiting for them. Ula walked on over and asked,
"Are you Mr. Aisling?" she was trying to be formal since they seemed to be standing so formal and she held her hand out to shake his hand and said, "Either way, name is Ula Finnin. It's nice to meet you."

Kaida was leaning against the cage, grumpy about the fact she was stuck in this. If she had been able to jump just a little farther she might have made it out. But based on what she was seeing, at least Hikaru made it out alright. Glen didn't, but she imagined Glen didn't exactly fall into this trap either. Kaida listened to the conversations between them all and was becoming a little more annoyed as she tried to figure out a way out of them. Though as far as she was aware there wasn't a way out.

When Kel asked the question about needing hearts, Kaida blinked and asked, "Wait a minute Doctor Offpitch, how exactly would getting hearts turn you into a toon? Seems kind of counterproductive, I would think hearts would maybe stop you from being a toon or something. No seriously, this is interesting, I wanna see how this works if you wouldn't mind letting me out of this cage to see this apparent magic you are going to perform with hearts to make yourself a toon." she didn't think it would hurt to at least try to see if that would work, considering how long she herself worked with a scientist she wasn't sure how that was going to work out. But maybe if he was stupid enough to let her out she could try and let the others out.

She had a feeling he wasn't that dumb though.

Adam had run out following Bonnie at the crash. Adam stared up at it and said, "I was honestly thinking for a second we had missed Ahriman, particularly Lauren being the host." Adam stared up at the gaping hole and didn't really look to see the other hole that was in a wall. He did step out into the hallway a little bit more to get a better look before he froze in his steps.

    Meoooow

"You little fucker." Adam said immediately turning around, recognizing the meow. He looked to see Rubbish sitting in the middle of the floor of the apartment. Giving a look as if he was ready to pounce or hiss at Adam. Adam was honestly surprised the cat was still alive after all this time. He figured maybe Rubbish had died from a demon eating him or something. Adam walked on over to the cat and knelt down and held his hand out, the cat responded by scratching at him and Adam didn't really react that much to the pain considering he had felt much worse over the years. Then he softly apologized to the cat and started stroking him, "I'm sorry for leaving you in Hell..."

Prism felt the hug and felt everything crush inside him. He listened to Magnus' deep routed plan to turn him into some sort of manly man like and that got Prism even more worried. But Prism didn't want to say anything like no I don't want to go through rigorous training like this Magnus because Prism didn't like to disappoint people.

He also longed for the feeling of belonging. So there was that too.

Prism tried to pick himself off the ground and said,
"I know you might not like the door but could you not go through the wall next time? I'm gonna have to call someone to repair it and I don't know how much we can afford that. You know... since... since we don't really have any powers here so I can't fix it with just a command or anything like that..."

He was suddenly worried about what Magnus was gonna say next after that so he just ended saying,
"But it's good to see you're as optimistic and filled with energy as ever Magnus."

Lexi listened to Quinn's question and raised an eyebrow and asked, "Gameboard? I don't believe I'm from a gameboard. Though that might explain why I seemed to be picked up from one world and put into another..." Lexi sat up and said, "If you're aware we're all just part of a game, that's probably better off... or worse I dunno. If I found out I was actually some character in someone's written out story I wouldn't be too surprised."

Lexi lounged back a little again and yawned, more out of being tired than being bored, then she at Quinn and continued,
"I heard all sorts of conversations in the classroom about people with powers, people who were angels, people who are sciency and 'master' and stuff, so everyone at least seems to be from somewhere different. I'm from a world where all of our problems are solved through music. Jobs are based on music, conflicts and fights are solved by music. There's usually something going on music wise." Lexi listened to the silence and replied, "This place is really off because I hear next to no music."

Lexi chuckled and took off her hat and fixed up her hair,
"But I'm talking a lot and I hope that isn't annoying you... if you don't mind me asking what kind of place or world... or 'gameboard' are you from?"

Because Magnus is a large hunk of muscle and hyperactivity please be aware that there is now a large gaping hole in the middle of the hallway on the second floor that people will now have to maneuver around as well as a large hole in the wall of Magnus and Prism's apartment so people can see inside. Please be aware of these changes.
