But hell, that's how he started out as a Nobody. That could be exactly why he left, because the other Nobodies remember their previous life and show no interest in his lack of memories. All he knew (or at least assumed) was that he was special and that no one else seemed to care, thus he left to figure it out. Assuming that he suspected someone tampered with his memories, there's very little evidence that the rest of the Org is innocent in that so why would he trust them, let alone stay with them?
My girlfriend's a phlebotomist and the majority of her patients are adults, specifically elderly, and they're in there regularly.
I'll rewatch some footage later to clarify but I figure he thinks he left for the same reason I thought he left prior to Days: he was confused as to why he could wield the Keyblade, he felt used by the Organization, and he was remembering Sora. All in all, he wanted to find out who he really was.
Okay
The original article I had was unbelievably helpful, but it'll take me some time to find it. A quick search resulted in this video and this ehow page which to me looks almost exactly like what I remember. http://www.ehow.com/how_4866986_fix-broken-laptop-screen.html It was unbelievably easy to fix. In fact, when my laptop finally died due to hard drive issues, one of the ways I tried fixing it (before I realized it was a hard drive issue) was taking the screen apart several times and trying to see if it was a screen issue...it wasn't, but after disassembling it once, I never forgot how to do it (also, it really helped me clean it). Also, I think this is where I ordered my replacement screen (which lasted me until the death of my laptop two-three years later. Screen continued to work perfectly, but laptop didn't). However, I'm not entirely sure if this is the website, but it seems familiar enough. I'll look harder in the morning, but I'm already half-passed out so...yeah. Hope this helps. EDIT:I lied, that's not where I got my screen. That website has a ten piece minimum for orders, the one I used definitely didn't. Will try to find it really quickly before I fall asleep (but can't guarantee it). I think my screen cost like...125 bucks, though.
A few years back, I closed my laptop screen on my headphones and cracked it something bad. Though I can't remember how much the replacement screen cost me, it was pretty easy to fix myself after I had ordered it. Only took a few minutes and a video (that I HAD TO PULL UP ON A DIFFERENT LAPTOP) and I had no idea what I was doing whatsoever prior to actually doing it. Not sure if all you need is a new screen, but if you need the video and website I ordered my screen from, I might be able to find the info somewhere. If it's something beyond that then I'm useless (or if you already more knowledgeable than me on the subject). Regardless, that sucks.
And we've officially started! I'm going to edit everyone into the first post right now, but the opening post is...posted. I'm not posting as everyone at once, but I'm also not doing only one post per character. I just figured Calem would be the most interesting person to start off with~ Everyone is free to post with the exception of @Kross123 whose Pokemon team I still need. You can literally post your character doing whatever at the moment, they'll get recruited soon enough. Or you can post them already recruited and looking for others. Geno will be in shortly.
The Mushroom World has changed drastically since the revived and empowered Smithy returned, crashing several dimensions into the Mushroom World. The steel wizard returned not just with new powers, but with a new appearance, twisted by the dark magic that now powered him. While Dark Mage Smithy may not have been familiar with those other worlds originally, he wasted no time laying claim to them as well. He vowed to make this new amalgam of worlds his own kingdom and now, with the Dark Mage's powers, it was more than possible...it was under way. He cast out his old gang, replacing them with magically-powered machines, appearing to be a combination of crystal and steel. However, old habits died hard and each of his new mindless soldiers still resembled weapons. His army was able to destroy most opposition easily. In addition to his new immense power and vast army, Smithy was now aided by the villains of the other worlds -his new gang. Smithy was sure that not all of his new comrades followed him out of loyalty, but he couldn't care less as long as they followed. Besides, with his new power, he could easily destroy any opponent. Now, heroes from different dimensions find themselves trapped in this new world, without warning or explanation. Lost and without direction, they have started to look for answers before a mysterious figure in a blue hood reaches out to them in different ways, beckoning them to join him. ******* ******* ******* Calem gasped, out of breath, as he skated into the forest. Next to him, his pal Sylveon ran gracefully, not quite at full speed. His fists were clenched tight and his knuckles white, but Calem pushed on. He continued to run through the forest, noting the larger-than-normal mushrooms around, until he ran into a clearing. Making sure nobody (or nothing) was around, Calem slid into a stop and crouched, hands on his knees. Sylveon rubbed its face against his legs, purring with half of a whimper. "What the heck was that, Sylveon?" Calem asked between the breaths he struggled to catch. Receiving only a whimsical cry in return, Calem couldn't help but smile. "At least they didn't catch us, right? They're no match for the Kalos Pokemon Champion and his trusty Sylveon!" He said enthusiastically as he fell onto his rear against a tree. 'Though it'd be nice if I knew why my other Pokemon seemed to have disappear,' he added to himself as he opened his bag. There were several items inside, mostly medicinal, but Calem was searching for Pokeballs -either vacant or occupied- and failed to find a single one. Noticing his Mega Ring, Calem grabbed it. He had deposited into his bag after realizing the only three Pokemon that he had on his person -Chesnaught, his starter; Sylveon, one of his evolved captures; and Yveltal, the Legendary Pokemon that Team Flare attempted to use as a weapon- were incapable of Mega-Evolving. However, something told him that the whatever force had invaded Kalos should not be allowed to harness the technology of the Mega Ring. Thus, Calem quickly snapped it onto his wrist. He raised the wrist to his eyes as Sylveon started to walk around, checking the perimeter. As he stared into the empty stone slot, Calem recounted the events that led him to his current predicament. He was searching Kalos for Articuno, a Legendary Pokemon that Calem was attempting to catch, but kept fleeing. After Articuno fled one of their several battles, Kalos was hit by what Calem had assumed was an earthquake. Strangely, bright light erupted from the cracks in the ground, blinding Calem. When the Pokemon Trainer was able to see again, Kalos was changed; he had assumed that he was in some strange new world, but he had found himself in what was obviously an abandoned Vaniville Town, right in his bedroom. He received a Holo Call from his mother, who said she had sought refuge in Professor Sycamore's lab in Lumiose City. Calem attempted to travel to Lumiose, but the path outside of Vaniville was...different. Sharp-fanged plants had replaced the flowers of the region and the path to Aquacorde Town now led straight into a forest, but not one Calem recognized. Before he could explore the forest, he received a Holo Call from a strange, blue-hooded figure who demanded his help to save not just the world, but the very fabric of existence. The figure asked Calem to meet him at the center of the forest. Though Calem was skeptical of the figure's claims, he had no time to think about them as he was soon attacked by a walking spear with some sort of crystalline texture. Wondering if it was some form of a Honedge, Calem checked his Pokedex, but the machine didn't recognize the creature. Without warning, the spear-creature attacked him and Calem responded with Sylveon. His Pokemon's Fairy Wind shattered the creature into tiny pieces, but it had started to reform instantly. Not wasting time, Calem donned his Roller Skates and took off, now finding himself in this clearing. Calem sighed; too many questions ran through his head. What was that earthquake and that following light? What happened to Kalos? Was his mother alright? What was that creature? Where were his other Pokemon? And why, despite his mother and that hooded figure calling him, could Calem's Holo-Caster not reach anyone else? Any time that Calem tried to call Professor Sycamore or Serena or his mother again, he only received static. The Trainer dropped his arms onto his knees and looked around for Sylveon, but his Pokemon had disappeared. "Oh no..."
Every time I play this game, I end up in jail.
What have you have
I wish I had a show or movie like that when I was five. If I even asked my mom to watch TV, it was always "YOU KNOW WE CAN'T AFFORD CABLE. SHUT UP AND EAT YOUR SANDWICH I FOUND IN THE TRASH AT WORK"
Yeah, the Flash tends to have a similar personality, no matter who's under the mask. I mean, it helped that Barry helped raise and taught Wally and then Wally did the same with Bart. They're always full of heart. The trailer wasn't kidding when it talks about the hope he represents. Also, apparently, John Wesley Shipp -who played Barry in the 1990 show- was cast in an unrevealed role before, but if you look closely at the family photo in the trailer, it appears that he's playing Barry's dad. On that note, although Shipp played Barry, lots of his character was inspired by Wally (whereas in the JL show, Flash was Wally with lots of the character inspired by Barry). I'm glad that they're obviously using you-know-who for his mom's real killer.
TRAILER'S OUT. [DOUBLEPOST=1400187703][/DOUBLEPOST] It wasn't him. Spoiler At the end of the episode, Felicity gets a call from STAR Labs and it cuts off before it reveals who was calling. Due to the other dramatic moments at the end, I thought it was going to be Barry. The next episode, she mentioned a "courier" from STAR Labs was already his way, but a few seconds later, it was some nameless employee driving. He isn't. Barry Allen help found the Justice League and was the first Flash (technically, Jay Garrick came first, but continuity is a bit clouded due to Jay and Flash coming from different realities, then the realities being combined, then split again. However, Barry is the first to wear the red and yellow costume with a mask whereas Jay wore white pants and a helmet, but no mask). Barry died in 1985 and didn't come back until 2008 so his sidekick Wally West (the first Kid Flash) became Flash. He's the one most people are familiar with. The Justice League cartoon used Wally's face (famous red hair<3) and name and kept him as the "first Flash" instead of Barry, but they made several references to Barry such as his job, how he got his powers, his enemies, etc.
When they first revealed that Batman was in the sequel, they used the famous quote from the ending of TDKR, but emphasized that they are not using the actual storyline. On that note, that would be very difficult to do as Man of Steel laid no groundwork whatsoever for a TDKR storyline.
If he attempted to commit genocide, would you hate him then?
No worries. It's my fault for not being clear enough lol. Honestly, I thought about protagonists, rivals, and antagonists, but I honestly did not think about anybody else such as other Trainers or the Pokemon League so yeah, my fault. Thanks for understanding, though! I think we have enough people to start this week already, but I"ll give it a couple of more days just to be safe~
I did read the article; I didn't see that anywhere in there unless I'm just blind. If it's in the video, I'm having issues playing it so that might be it. Regardless, in my opinion, Bieber is a lost cause. A brush with the law here and there is not okay, but justifiable by age or recklessness. However, he seems to be getting in trouble like every month and shows no regard for others. There's no excuse for it anymore. Affluenza should not be a valid defense. Frankly, I would have booed him, too.
Sorry, that's my fault for not making that rule clear enough. For the main series games: Protagonists/Main Characters can only start out with three Pokemon (One starter and two others, but only one can be a Legendary for now). Villains can a full roster of any Pokemon they canonically used in their respective games. Anyone else must stick with Pokemon they canonically used in their respective games, like villains. It is a bit limiting, but the rule is in place so Pokemon aren't riding everywhere and it was the easiest way I could think of to place the Pokemon games in this crossover, story-wise.
What evidence do you have that any of this is the case?
