Besides, technically, neither was Erkz when it came to one of the members we tried, but that didn't stop him from making a fair verdict, though. OOC:...Alright. Fine. Sorry for jumping the gun. However, Demyx seemed pretty straight-forward and Axel could be stalled long enough until Erkz gets back. But we really can't let this RP get stuck like this. We all know that at this rate, without a judge, this entire thing will go nowhere. This should've been open and shut by now, but without Erkz, it's at a standstill and a bunch of nothing will continue to go on. So what do we do with this? Do we just continue with Zack as the judge or was there something else you had in mind? :huh:

Exactly. There was no point in having Neverland if there was already the POTC world. It'd be redundant, especially since they decided to use the Peter Pan movie storyline in the first Kingdom Hearts.

Sitting up straight, putting on his mirrored sunglasses to prevent people seeing what he was looking at (he gave a slight glance at Janexna's chest) and summoned up the holographic display of the Court Record. "So, just to be final and clear, the charges are: 2 Counts of Theft. 4 Count of Attempted Aggravated Assault 4 Count of Coercion. 1 Count of Assault. 1 Count of Grievous Bodily Harm. I believe that's what the Prosecution and the Defense agreed on, right? It was originally 1 count of Attempted Aggravated Assault and 1 Count of Coercion, but Janexna...excuse me, the Defense increased it to 4. Any other objections?" He raised the gavel, daring someone to object...
I got to see it via free screening and let me say, I'd recommend watching it. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway were just perfect for their roles. When things weren't sexy, romantic or awkward, there were always the humorous moments that would keep you from getting bored. And with Dwayne Johnson and The Great Khali taking part as well (not against each other, however), they keep you entertained. Granted, Carell's "Maxwell Smart" was a bit more clumsy, clueless and inexperienced compared to his TV counterpart, it stayed as true to the overall plot as possible...at least in my opinion anyway. :p
OOC: Really? The only thing that's kept us from continuing is a judgment on Luxord. And if we do go to Demyx, we'll need a judge eventually to keep things in order. :huh: Despite the clashes we had in the past outside this RP, I promise you that Zack won't be biased. I talked to ICSP as well, and he said that he doesn't care either way. If Zack WERE to become judge and rule against Luxord, I was planning to have the sentence be a Submission street-fight against Zack, so Base would get his fight, Zack would get to pummel someone and the punishment would technically be lighter than Marluxia and Larxene's. :p Of course, it would only happen if the prosecution and defense agree that Zack would have those rights. Besides, you might actually be interested in Demyx and Axel's sentences...:sly: Aaaanyway... BIC: Zack shook the judge roughly and was slightly startled when Erkz' head slammed into the desk as if the life were cut out of him. "Oh crap." He looked at the double doors of the courtroom as if expecting another judge to come in to take over. When there wasn't any, he began to feel slightly nervous. Of course, he didn't show it. His eyes scanned the table for a clue of what to do in this situation. Finally, his eye caught a familiar-looking orange book. Picking it up, he muttered to himself, "Judging for Dummies." Dummies? Preposterous! He was an evil genius! He didn't need no... He quickly opened the book and looked for anything that might help in this situation. After scanning for a few moments, he found what he was looking for. "Judge Pro Tem," it said: He stared at the page for a long moment. He could do it, couldn't he? He was more than qualified (and a lot more reliable). Before anyone could say anything, Zack scooped up the inactive judge and sped toward the hospital ward. After making sure that the judge was comfortable beside his father, Judge Erkz, the bailiff ran all the way back to the courtroom. After making it to the judge's bench and sitting in Erkz' vacant chair, Zack said, "Due to unforseen circumstances, Judge Erkz has been temporarily removed from his position as overseer of this courtroom. Don't worry, though. Under the current circumstances, I will be acting as judge pro tem until the judge returns, due to being the only one qualified (and available) for this position." He smirked. "Now I believe we were about to rule on Luxord..." Kairi came in with smelling salts tucked safely in her purse when she heard the tragic news. The bailiff as judge?! "Oh, we are so screwed," she muttered.
Oh yeah. That usually sucks. Just make sure to have the minimum amount of videos imported. Having too many causes it to lag and eventually freeze. :sideways:

Well, Makie's voice actress sounds cute and adorable (her Japanese version, that is, considering she played the heroine in Love Hina) and I figure since the twins have already been taken, Makie Sasaki would be the next best choice. :) I'll get you the Kaede lines when I can. I'm just finishing up proofreading my next chapter for Wedding. Now I just gotta find a Ku Fei (does ANF do a good Chinese accent?) and see if Cocohints is still onboard as Yue and we should be all set! ;)
So, Pika, *TN*, are you guys okay with Zack taking over as judge until Erkz gets back? I promise he'll be as fair as possible. :D

OOC: Maybe...but it wouldn't be as interesting, though, don't you think? I mean, Zack would still be kinda restrained by the fact that since he's only a proxy, Erkz could always come back and overturn his decisions. Plus, just because he calls himself "evil" doesn't mean that he necessarily is. He's like Riku said, he's just a poser. :p Besides...we've had nicety-nice judges so far. Having a judge that everyone actually fears or is annoyed with would make the proceedings a bit more...random. :D ...Well, that and the fact that adding a second custom character would be a bit unfair to everyone else, right? :huh: BIC: "Naminé!" Kairi couldn't believe what she was seeing. As soon as Roxas started tickle torturing her poor sole, Naminé had let out a shriek before her body jerked once and fainted from the over-stimulation. Before Roxas could do anything naughty, Kairi pulled Roxas away, put Naminé's sandal back on and smacked Roxas across the back of the head. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" She picked up Naminé in her arms and gently placed her unconscious form in Repliku's lap. "Could you please watch over her while I get something to revive her?" Zack noticed that the judge's eyes were glazed over and unfocused. Not knowing what else to do, he bounded up to the judge's level and started shaking his shoulder. "Yo, judge. You still with us?"
About Erkz... OOC: Okay, I've been talking with Erkz and he said that he's realized his absence has been lagging the RP. So he's requested that since I'm a neutral party that I take over for judge temporarily until he gets back. Now I know that I've been mainly been on Repliku and Pika_Power's side outside this thread. But let's say Zack (of all people) gets promoted from bailiff to judge. He's unbiased toward both sides due to the fact that he hates everybody. So none of that "He's on the prosecution's side" or vice-versa. In other words, if Zack does become judge, I promise to be as fair as possible and maybe we'll be able to get through these cases much more faster than we've been going for the past few months. :) So are there any objections or do you still want to wait around for Erkz? :huh:
