Happy Thanksgiving, guys!
Three injuries, but, thankfully, no deaths. I wish those affected a speedy recovery from this! There's a video and there are images in the link below. Tornado Damages Buildings at North Carolina Coast Source: ABC 11 Published: 11/27/2013
I don't watch it that much, but this still makes me sad. Source: Saiyan Island Published: 11/24/2013
So an online friend and I started this cool project where I record a game he's never heard of or seen before or is just not familiar with and he uploads it to his channel with blind commentary. My friend has two channels: Gracker221 United LPs The first is his main channel and the second is his channel for the kind of project we're doing. We started with Spyro the Dragon, and here is the first part: Spoiler: Part 1/15
I'm sure some of you know Phantasy Star Portable 2, which contains NPCs and MySynths (basically NPCs as well). As with any game with NPCs, they say things via chat bubbles (so no voice, just text) when fighting, such as "I need help!" when low on HP, and there's this one NPC, Lou, and when she's attacking, she says, "Begin attack routine." That's a quite common thing I see (with any word), but shouldn't that be "Beginning attack routine"?
Another "I hate..." thread, but this time with Larxene. 6:03
This is actually very recent, with the second video below being from October 6, 2013. The teenager may be 15 now, but I'm not sure. This will take almost two hours to watch, so watch these videos when you have time. It's important to watch these from start to end without skipping to give a solid opinion, because this happens to a lot of children, and it's not something that should just be put on the back burner. I mean, it's not something as simple as my mom and I arguing because she asks me to turn the music down or whatever, it's a serious issue. I bet that teenager would say that what my mom and I go through would be like paradise for him, because my mom and I are nowhere near as bad as that. Anyway, I don't really know what to think, mostly because I wasn't there and therefore don't know the whole story. I'm sort of neutral, but I think I lean more toward him being with his father. In both videos, the father remained completely calm, aside from the crying, because that's technically not being calm, at the end of the second video, but I completely fathom where he was coming from and therefore don't hold it against him. In the second video, the mother was also calm, but in the first video she got really upset toward the end. Personally, I think the teenager did handle some parts wrong, although it's understandable because he was frustrated. He's upset with his mother and step-father because they're always yelling, but the teenager does the same thing and yells a lot at his mother in the video; his mother even says that the "yelling" he's talking about is him. However, as I said, I don't know the full story because I wasn't there, so I'm just quoting what she said. Basically, though, I'm saying I think he overreacted a bit in some parts. The only thing I really have an opinion on is when the one lady was talking to the policeman at the end and was all hysterical. Now don't me wrong, because I do understand how stressful something like that can be, but she was acting as if he died, which was definitely not the case. As I said, though, I understand that everyone in support of the teenager being with his father, including the biological father himself, was upset and frustrated because of the court order that said the teenager had to go with his mom, I just think that one lady got a bit too dramatic. Anyway, what are your thoughts?
There are various hyperlinks in the quoted material, I just didn't get them in, so use the source link. Source: Reddit Published: 11/21/2013
Well, that wasn't too bad.
I've just been finding a lot of interesting stuff lately. Anyway, I found this video: To summarize, a female teacher had sex a few times with some jock males that were 18 and 19. While I definitely think that it's morally wrong and shouldn't be done, I think she should have just been fired and not jailed for five years. The students were of legal age to consent. Obviously, if they had been 17 or below, that would have been a problem, but they weren't. Also, just to repeat myself, I am in no way saying that teachers having sex with students is all right on any level, I'm just saying that since they were of legal consenting age, I don't think she should have been jailed. What are your thoughts on teachers having sex with students, whether they're of legal age or not, in general?
Lots of wind today! Isn't this supposed to be during springtime? LOL
I'm getting tired of being added to people's circles by people I don't even know. How can I remove myself as well as block people from adding me?
Facebook added "WEB" and "MOBILE" next to the online green circle for those that are online via a computer or mobile device, respectively, in the chat sidebar.
So I got the basic concept that it's a male with female anatomy or vice-versa, but I have some questions. What exactly makes people transgender? If you guys saw the Teen Nick HALO Awards 2013, you would have seen this guy Zachary that was born a female, but then decided to be a male. The question here is when transgender people choose a gender to be, what about their private areas and sexual activities or sexuality? Transgenders and sexuality go hand-in-hand in some things, but obviously not always, which is why I'm making a separate thread for this. So if you were born a male in a female's body and then choose to be a male, I would think you'd have breasts and a vagina because you were born in a female body. However, if you're straight, it would be a bit awkward to have sex with either a male or a female? If you're with a female, which is the opposite gender of yourself, you'd both have the same private areas because you were born with female parts, but if you're with a male, which is the same gender as yourself, you'd have different private areas, but since you're considering yourself a male, then...? As I mentioned, either way, it seems awkward? I'm sorry if I sound weird here, but I don't know a lot about transgenderism and want to get educated on it. :)
There are videos in the source link. Anyway, my prayers and condolences to all involved. Midwest Tornadoes Source: CNN Published: 11/18/2013
I'm sure you all know the whole concept of a female being so sad that she starts crying and a female friend comforts her by hugging her, letting the other female cry on her shoulder, etc. My question is why does it seem like guys "can't be" emotional or close with each other? It's almost as if it were law. Like guys don't typically seem to cry if something sad happens and get comforted by another guy. Those that do are looked at weird, as if it were homosexual. Personally, I think that's another example of stereotyping. People calling emotional males gay is stereotypical, obviously, but if a guy chooses not to cry because guys "aren't supposed to" cry, is that also stereotypical? Anyway, I personally don't see anything wrong with guys, regardless of sexuality, because I don't think that should play a role, being close to the point where if one's sad, they can cry on the other guy's shoulder or whatever. Discuss.
Don't you guys hate it when you install or update a program and something else is forced along with it? So I got the typical popup on my computer saying there was an update for Flash Player that I always get when there's an update. It directs me to get3.adobe.com and I install the update, but it also installed a free McAffe Scan Plus without the option to opt out, which is usually there. I just removed it afterward. Doing some research on the official site, it's apparently been an issue since April 2012. Also, get3.adobe.com is official, it's just a sub-domain of get.adobe.com (source). They apparently also forced things when it came to some Google stuff. In any case, while I don't like when companies do that, I'm not going to get how some of the people in that topic got.
