Aduial watched Wolfe, her smile never fading. She enjoyed the company of animals far better than that of humans. She thought of the others she'd seen so far at the school. She shivered at the thought of the one with wings. She'd gotten a bad feeling near him. But was he really dangerous, or was she just overreacting to some tribute of his? Shaking the unnerving thoughts from her head, she stood and went back to the window.
Aduial smiled and moved to sit on the floor, her wings fluttering as she sat. "Do you like being a wolf better, or are you trying to make me feel at bit more at home?"
"I'm just not used to having a concrete building surrounding me," Aduial explained, her voice smooth and calm as ever. "I've always been in the woods... with... with my sister.... But," She regained her smile and light tone. "I'm here now, so I'll make the best of it."
"Hey! She's not just a lump of flesh you can drag around," Angel prostested. She removed Advent's hand like a vice grip and then smiled at Renge. "He can be a bit of a bully sometimes; just try to ignore it."
OOC: The anxiety of the moment is killing me!
Aduial sat up and looked at Wolfe. "Oh, yes, I'm fine. Don't trouble yourself with me, okay?" She paused. "You're the one that I helped earlier, right? I think you should be worrying about yourself a bit more." Aduial gave Wolfe a kind-hearted smile. "Let me know if you ever need me again."
Danny paused in his stride, takenaback, and then quickened to catch up with Sam again. "I'm sure Tucker will have some ideas." Daine left City Hall, but stood just outside, thinking of what all that could have meant. Her foster father, Vlad, had told her that she was adopted because no one else would take her. Because I'm a freak.... And he told me that the ghost boy, Danny, is a bad person. But Danny and that girl just said that I'm the result of an experiment... It doesn't make any sense. One of them is lying.
My, my... that's quite the combo! XD
She's nice. ^.^ I like RPing with her.
Aduial entered her room, according to the papers she recieved, and was glad to find that it was a single room. Smiling to herself, she set her small bag on the bed near the window and looked outside. The trees drew her attention the most. She leaned on her elbows on the windowsill and stared outside for a moment, her wings fluttering softly. Her mind drifted through memories and possibilities of the future. She'd kept her distance from everyone so far, but she was starting to get lonely. Maybe a single room woudln't be so great. On the other hand, it was better than having to share a room with someone she might not get along with. Finally tearing her gaze away from the window, Aduial stood up and walked around the fair-sized room. It was comfortable enough, but she'd have to decorate the walls somehow; they were too plain. The room could use some greenery too. She decided to ask a professor some time soon about that. It wasn't long before Aduial got bored of the room. She flopped onto the bed and laid on her back. It was soft, but not the forest floor she was used to. Homesickness welled inside Aduial's heart, but she refused to cry. She'd come here of her own choice and she wasn't about to regret it so quickly. It just needed time to work its way into her heart. Though she knew she'd come to like this place, she could never call it home.
Bored! None of my buddies are posting!
"Yeah," Danny answered. "It's... complicated."
OOC: I've been pretty busy... ^^' Recap?
Just... please, stay with me a while longer if you won't have anything to do with me after this.... Beatrice answered.
OOC: Princess_of_hearts has Ember now. ^.^ BIC: Danny set a smooth pace back towards his house, still thinking over Vlad's words.
OOC: I'm going to bed. ^.^ See ya tomorrow.
"Thanks," Danny smiled. "We should probably get back to my house and call Tucker."
