I have the feeling that the final boss is going to be data of Xion. Reasoning: Spoiler She was supposed to merge and become Sora if his memories didn't take. The journal said, "We must return to free them from their torment." It's probably referring to the lingering torment inside of Sora that's being caused by Xion. He has to go in there and see that Xion existed and defeat her to put her at ease. And then there'll be some super awesome connective line to Kingdom Hearts III: The Keyblade Wars.
