You were the most recent post, and if others worded it exactly that way earlier in the thread, I missed it. It wasn't an attack necessarily directly at you, as much as the idea that there might be other people who read this as "typical behavior" and it still scares me.
I literally do not have any gut feelings at all BESIDES Jiku. And it's because of my natural "throwing numbers and data to make up for discussion just reads to me as scummy behavior" disposition. Apparently according to Karuta this is "normal play behavior" which is horrible, because that means she's unhelpful (at least that's how I see it) to town when she IS town, and she's extremely helpful to mafia when she's mafia. If she always plays in this style, it's difficult to read anything into her. In terms of Splodge, I have read what everyone has had to say and it just looks like people took one instance of newbie shyness/slipup and tried pushing them with that one point until they could point out different mistakes. I don't get a mafia read like some people are getting, I guess. I just see another issue similar to Blaine in the last game. My issues lie in the fact I actually have no idea what to bring to the table at this point in the game. It's day 1, I'm usually goofy and finger pointy on day 1, and if people are convinced of Splodge being their gut read then they can be, but I don't get that impression. Even with all the cases already pushed on them. Jiku on the other hand, unfortunately, I'm probably going to continue thinking she is unhelpful and more than likely mafia until proven otherwise. And that will more than likely mean when she's dead. Couldn't having less content to read also be a gut read to think she's mafia?
I voted for Nova randomly, it was still during the random votes phase. I actually genuinely forgot I still had a vote on him ##Unvote: Ars Nova I had a feeling last game behavior was going to be thrown in here at some point but I wasn't intentionally flying under the radar. I was busy yesterday. And also, I don't understand why it's a problem that I don't have gut reads yet? It's day 1, I don't think I have ever had a mafia gut read on day 1 ever unless someone was acting way too scummy day 1. If I may ask, how does any of this help at all? Other than of course, the obvious answers. This was your second post and all you've contributed to discussion was 'I don't have any reads yet' and 'here's a post-vote-voted' ratio. Unless this turns out to be helpful in the longrun, this just looks like a huge waste of time to me. Well if you guys want a guy read I guess Jiku is the closest with this now.
Basically after reading, I'm not sure what else I can add since it is all on gut reads, and it's just unfortunately too early for me to really get any suspicions. Like, at all. The closest if any is Splodge but that's from mistakes that are more than likely just honest mistakes rather than freudian slips (it's too early for true freudian slips) So in summary, I have no opinion and basically what we just need to do is make more awkward first day talk. Okay for the record, just because I'm "online and viewing the thread" doesn't mean I'm actually online and viewing the thread. The more likely situation is that my browser auto-refreshed the tab because this was the more active tab and my internet pops in and out over intervals. You shouldn't speculate on mafia plans, especially since Mafia has a day chat. What if they didn't do that and you just gave them the plan? It only makes me wonder if you can say that because you personally went through with it.

No, I got that. I'm saying that people are going to keep bringing it up. The only way I can see this resolved is if you sit with all of the former staff and try to work as a team or at least discuss this. If they don't want to come back that is their choice. But this issue is not going to go away by being brushed under the rug. Please confront this with the old staff and see what you can work on to be a better leader while also taking into account all feelings of the people who've been here for years. I know it's your site now, and you can be firm on your own decisions, but don't act above the team just because you spotted the cash. I'll stop it at that, there's not much more for me to say on this.
