"Pyroar, the boy!" Lysandre yelled as he dove to the side. As Pyroar lunged towards Silver, knocking the red-haired boy out of Stream Edge's trajectory, Lysandre hit the ground. "Ugh!" He grunted as he dodged the mechanical man's blast, but was grazed by the so-called "Stream Edge." He stood up quickly. His leg was burning, but the head of Flare ignored it. Near him, Pyroar gave a quizzical growl, asking its master if he was alright. Lysandre ignored it. And dusted himself off. "My, I see what my mistake was," he said calmly as he pulled out another Pokeball. "I was treating this as a Pokemon battle, even limiting myself to its...mechanics." He pressed the Pokeball, making it grow. "However, you are obviously not Trainers so I see no need to play fair. Go, Meinfoo!" A flash of light and a small figure, barely three feet high, joined the battle. It was pink and yellow and would have appeared harmless -perhaps even cute- if it wasn't for its serious fighting pose. "Pyroar, Fire Blast the man! Meinfoo, High Jump Kick on the machine. Now!" He yelled his commands, pointing to each target.

Pyroar gave a look to Silver before it jumped forward and roared, a great-shaped fire blasting from its jaws and towards Shulk. Using the fire as cover, Meinfoo disappeared almost instantly before stopping over X's head, rearing its little, but powerful leg back before launching the kick at the Maverick Hunter's helmet.

Saying nothing, Luigi watched the woman they had approached. He lowered his Poltergust slightly (Princess Peach would not be happy if he aimed it at helpless woman!), but kept one hand on it. With his other hand, he pulled out his Dual Scream. "We're-we're here," he muttered to his partner as he watched the woman. This was definitely the center of the forest where they were instructed to meet...but that woman was not a blue-hooded man. So who was sh-"She has a sword!" Luigi exclaimed, raising his Poltergust. Perhaps, she wasn't as helpless as he first thought!

Terra almost didn't notice the two men approach her, chuckling at the little green one. She slowly raised her sheathed blade in a non-combative stance. "Don't worry," she smiled warmingly, "my blade isn't meant for you." She assured him. Though she wasn't sure what kind of weapon the little green man had or what the sharply-dressed man was capable of, she couldn't sense any powerful magic from either of them. No, she was safe from them. Before answering the one in the suit, she looked at the device in the little green man's other hand. From this distance, she could see what looked like a map on the screen. So Geno did send these two the coordinates... "Yes. That is the exact reason why I've been waiting. To help you." She placed her sword in sheath back at her waist before sensing something. "Though it seems we aren't alone," she looked east as two more figures approached. A young boy and...some kind of red moogle?
Though he wasn't entirely sure where he was going, Knuckles led the young boy (who called himself Roxas) towards the center of the forest. It wasn't too difficult; Knuckles knew his nature. The smart thing may have been to exit the forest and look around, but if he had ended up here, perhaps Sonic and the others were also in the forest.

The Echidna said little to Roxas as they traveled, simply keeping his fists ready. He wished he could have just ran or even glided and leave the little squirt behind...but his consciousness prohibited that.
"Whoa!" He stopped when they reached a clearing. Three humans stood in front of him and Roxas. A green haired woman, a man in a suit, and little man in green wielding a...vacuum? 'Geez, never thought I would miss Robotnik and his inventions,' Knuckles grimaced. "Alright, speak up!" He demanded. "Who are you?" He directed it at no one in particular, not knowing who was in charge.

"An earlier version of Roxas?" Xigbar pondered. "Kind of like...man, this time-travel thing is making my head hurt." He turned, putting his back to Xemnas. "Looks like the old gang's getting back together again!" He quickly turned, grinning. "As if. Smithy's gang is the only one around and I got a feeling," he winked (which in his case, might as well have been blinking), "our new gang will have something to say about that." He imagined Master Xehanort confronting Smithy. Smithy was powerful, true, but...he was no Xehanort. "Well, hammerhead thinks I'm on his side. Even gave me some minions of my own, y'know? They're not Nobodies, but they get the job done," he told Xemnas. "Not sure what you're planning, but I should 'report' back to Smithy, catch my drift?" Though he had sworn loyalty to Smithy, Xigbar was still true to Master Xehanort's cause. Right now? He trusted Xemnas to find a way to turn this whole ordeal to their favor. But he had a cover to maintain. A Corridor of Darkness appeared behind him. "You gonna stay out of trouble?"

Calem's jaw dropped at Xerneas' sight. So this was the other Legendary Pokemon? The one that grants life, not destroys it. The one that Serena swears Lysandre tried to use in place of Yveltal. Watching in astonishment as Xerneas took out a good portion of the Crystal Weapons, the Kalosian Pokemon Champion threw out his own Pokeball. "Chesnaught, let's go!" A green, sage-looking creature appeared in front of him. "Let's get out of here!" Calem told the girls, immediately taking charge. "Serena, take point with, erm, Xerneas! Chesnaught and I will cover the back!" He wasn't one to throw out orders, but they had to get to the center of the forest immediately. Introductions would have to continue later. As they started running, one of the remaining weapons lunged at them. "Hammer Arm!" Chesnaught dove between Calem and the weapon, clasped his fists together and swung horizontally, striking the weapon full-force. "Naught!" It cried as the weapon shattered against a tree before it continued to follow its trainer. As they ran, Calem realized they were headed past the steam he noticed earlier, still wondering if they should check it out.

"Having trouble with the help, are we?" The Dark Queen asked, condescendingly, as she appeared next to Franziska. "My, my, guess they're taught to recognize power, and honey, I don't think you got it!" She laughed, her...endowments the victim of physics as she did. At six feet, she towered over Franziska and, while she wouldn't admit it, she could see the confidence and authority radiating from the platinum-haired woman. However, she had no power here. So what if Smithy gave her a few soldiers to make her feel powerful? Smithy offered the Dark Queen so much more...well...he hadn't, but she knew he would... eventually. "Listen here, you crystalline pieces of sewer muck!" She yelled, demanding the attention of Franziska's squad.
As the weapons looked at attention, the differences between the two were like night and day. Franziska was only a few inches past five feet with short, silver-blue hair and gray eyes. She was clad in white and gray, with dark gloves, a short skirt and boots barely past her ankles. In one hand was her whip. The Dark Queen on the other hand had wavy hair, dark as space, that reached past her shoulders. She wore a simple one piece outfit that didn't leave much to imagination and her chest put Franziska's to shame. Gloves past her elbows and boots to her knees, she was covered (well, the parts of her that was covered) in black. The only exception was the purple cape on her back. Her skin was pale and her lips a deadly red. In stature, she towered over most.
"Listen to your true queen...I demand you to march!"
The Crystal Weapons stumbled, but simply stood there before looking back at Franziska.
The Dark Queen's cheeks flushed in embarrassment and anger. "What? Did you not hear me, you...you...jewelry rejects!" She threw arm forward in anger, a dark swirl of wind hitting the nearest Weapon which shattered, scattered, and reformed.
"You will speak of this to no one!" She demanded of Franziska. "Obviously, these soldiers are defective!"

"It's not really a hologra-oh," Zitz started, but was interrupted by a flashing blip near them. Since others weren't tagged, saved for that Terra chick and Geno, he only had a map that showed them and himself. However, something had activated his radar and it was...right in front of them. "Whoa, this is a little too amphibian, even for me!" He exclaimed, looking at the knee high (though much higher to Ritz), anthropomorphic turtle. "Turtle," he looked at the turtle and threw his arms out before slamming them into his chest, "Toad!" He grinned. "You lost, little guy? It's not safe around here, you know?" He baby-talked the confused animal. Wow, this world sure had some crazy critters.

PMing you with an opening. Let me know what you think about it.[DOUBLEPOST=1403233637][/DOUBLEPOST]Here's a quick copy/paste recap of where everyone is at right now (prior to the post I'm typing now). Also, just realized I haven't added the recent additions to the first post. Will do that in a few minutes~
The center of the forest. Terra is there waiting right now and Edgeworth and Luigi just arrived. Sonic is speeding in that direction by himself with Blue flying on Aerodactyl behind him. Ritz and Zitz are just about there. Calem, Serena, May, and Crystal just got attacked by grunts, but are making their way there now. Megaman X and Shulk are fighting Lysandre and Silver. Warrior of Light and Gold are battling Zangurak. Squirtle just arrived in the world. Roxas and Knuckles are about to head towards the center of the forest.

As for the other bad guys, Franziska von Karma is leading a group of grunts. Xenmas and Xigbar are elsewhere in the forest talking about the recent turn of events.

Any other characters not mentioned here haven't posted as yet.

I"m one of the rare few (at least it feels like it) that loves the new direction Linkin Park has gone in. Do I miss their old stuff? Yeah, but I still love their newer stuff. However, The Hunting Party seems really lackluster for me. Not sure what it is. It kind of feels like they're deliberately trying to appeal to the fans who prefer their older stuff, but keeping their new sound and it...just fails. I don't know. I'm giving their album another listen to right now, hoping that after it sinks in, I'll love it, but right now, it's just meh.

Not sure if you meant to link to the other Rise Against thread, but that's what you linked to. I was expecting an article or something? lol

Anyway, been listening to their new single and ohmygod, I love it. The way the tone changes for the chorus really hits it. Can't wait to hear the rest of their songs.

Alright, guys. We're moving things along finally. Those of you have characters you haven't posted as yet, that's fine. You don't have to introduce everyone right away, obviously.
Those of you haven't posted at all, you have until Tuesday to post or let me know when I can expect a post. If you don't post this weekend, I'll contact you personally to remind you, but if I don't have a response or post by Tuesday, you're out for inactivity unless you come back to me later with a decent reason (inactive from the site for personal reasons, busy with work/school, sick, etc.).

Oh, I know that. I meant that I don't know if the idea to show the Creation by that hand wa first used in JLU or used before that.
Also, yeah there's nothing really contradicting between the two shows, but nothing really linking them either. Now that I think about it, though, the Manhunters contradict the two versions.

Sky was almost halfway down the bottom level of Neostice's guard-wall. The city wasn't entirely low-tech. Hell, the wall had automated systems running through it. It was true that he could take the lift down -it'd be faster and less work- but Sky preferred the stairs. The stairs were meant as an alternate route in case if the Scares compromised the wall. For one, Zombies couldn't really move through stairs that quickly and although the other Scares could, the stairways were wide enough that there was plenty of room for a battle. Being stuck in elevator with Scares chasing you, on the other hand...Sky shivered at the thought of being in an elevator with a Zombie above you. However, most Watchmen took the lift for the convenience and the stairways were quiet, allowing Sky to think.

    Brnnngggg! Brng! Brnggggg!

Well, so much for quiet. Sky turned with a jolt and ran back up the stairs, pulling his bow from his shoulder. The alarm was quiet, but annoying. More like a series of urgent bells lining the inside and balconies of the wall. It wasn't meant to alert the rest of Neostice's population; it was meant for the Watchmen to hear. It meant that some action outside of the gates required some...help from above. Usually something minor, like a stray Werewolf or a short in the gate's electrical system allowing a Zombie or two in. Now the alarm for an actual outbreak within the city? That was bone-chilling.

Stopping near a door, two flights from the top where Watchmen were supposed to be stationed, Sky pushed a few numbers into a keypad before the door swung open. The sun was almost all the way down, but there were plenty of stars to give light...and spotlights, propped across the wall, shining down into the surrounding environment. Sky stepped out into a balcony; it was short, maybe only a few yards away from the wall and had a small wall at the edge that reached his knees. There was enough room out there for maybe two people. Up above him, he could hear yells. He looked up to see other Watchmen on this section of the wall -maybe four in total- looking over the edge. On his level of the wall, there were two other small balconies like his, but only one currently manned. These small balconies were meant to give Watchmen a closer look to the ground, but they were unable to be built too low in case of a Scare reaching them. Fortunately, the few extra yards really helped the sharper-eyed Watchmen, such as himself.

Sky wasted no time and peered over the edge, glancing around. He quickly noticed what caused the alarm. A group of Zombies were walking towards one of the main gates and right in their line of sights...was a man. "Great, some jackass got himself spotted," Sky grumbled, placing a foot on the wall for support. "Who's working that gate?" Sky asked into his radio. "No one saw that horde coming?" He didn't expect a reply so he dropped his radio and pulled an arrow out from his quiver. He positioned the bow so he could easily stare into the scope just as the gunshots from above started to rain down onto the Zombies, set the arrow in place, and pulled it bac- "Oh no...We have a problem!" He yelled, though his radio was on the floor. "GUYS, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!" He yelled even louder, before he let his arrow fly down, striking a Zombie in the neck between his head and shoulder with enough force to cut through its spine. Sky quickly picked his radio back up. "Hands are coming out of the ground! We have Zombies underground, repeat, Zombies rising from the ground!"

"Wha-AHH!" Sam may or may not have screamed like a little girl as he tumbled backwards from Frida's shove. His back hit a wall and he slid down to his ass with a "Uf!" and a little bit of smoke puffed from his mouth. He opened his eyes and let his jaw drop as he watched his assaulter scold him and storm off, unable to say anything. As she stormed away, he looked back and forth from Lex to Aiden. "Uh-um--uh--er...what?" As the other students started making their way to the library, most of them laughing at him on their way out, Sam forced himself up and brushed himself off. "Well...what in Mithra's name was that about?" He asked before silently wondering how he knew that name. Shrugging it off to shared knowledge from Jaggerjack (who was busy laughing his tail off in their shared mind), the desert-skinned student followed the crowd, all the while wondering what Frida's deal was.

After walking into the 'lidrory,' Sam noticed and read the seating chart. "Lookie here, looks like I'm with...oh no," he turned to look at his table: the troublemakers. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no," he muttered. Grouped with them again? "Is there some sorta conspiracy against me?" He wondered in a whisper as he made eye contact with the others, red irises glowing. "Somethin' to make innocent ol' Sam into some kinda rebel?" He continued, raising his voice slightly, but still to himself. He sat down and slammed his head into his folded arms, resting it on the table before adding aloud, "The universe has a sense of humor and I don't get the joke."

BUT SERIOUSLY. Friday, I test drove this used car. Oh my god, for 2K, this car was great. It was an '06 Sebring and except for a few splotches of paint on the trunk, it looked and drove brand new. Only problem was the huge amount of miles (218,000). I had to work out of town in a few hours so I asked the guy if he can hold it for me. He said yeah since I told him I was definitely buying it. He advertised the car on the side of a street (there's a few spots where people try to sell cars like that in town) and said he would move it back to his lot and advertise on another car and he would hold it for me until today (Tuesday). Yesterday morning, I got back into town (someone picked up my shift for the sole reason of letting me come buy the car) and realized the car was still there. Even though I was here a day earlier than I would have been, I didn't have the money until today (see: the day he said he would hold it for me). I go out a few hours later to get food and realize the car's not there anymore. HE SOLD IT. THE DAY BEFORE HE PROMISED TO SELL IT TO ME.

Could have sworn it was already mentioned, but I can't find it. Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. the Kingpin has been cast for Daredevil. Vincent D'Onofrio of Law and Order: Criminal Intent fame (Detective Goren) has been cast. I'm really excited. Granted, though I've seen his other movies long ago, I only really know him as Goren and the gravitas he has in a room, well, it'll be interesting to see him in that role. He has some big shoes to fill from Michael Clarke Duncan's performance so many years back, but I'm sure D'Onofrio is up for it. Still disappointed that Michael C. Hall didn't up as Daredevil, but we'll see.
