*claps* You said it... My love for the 2 Dimensional shall never die!
Since Bushy had nothing to post for Subaru and Minato... he went straight onto Natsu. "...Win?" Natsu asked. "This is about eating. Not winning. But sure! I'll take your challenge!" Natsu shouted excitedly while patting his chest to indicate for the Demon child to fire at him. And now it was Bushy's turn to focus on his own events, but first... he had to address Deadpool's yellow boxes. Yes... Oh wow, I've always wanted to have a conversation with your yellow boxes, and you Deadpool. he spoke into Deadpool's mind directly and to the boxes themselves before he then addressed Reinforce. "It's wasn't a spell. It was the power of awesome, and nope, it's nothing to do with your memories being altered or corrupted or anything of the like (I wouldn't do that to you mi'dear). It's a simple case of... Well, let's just say it's alternate parallel universe related stuff. It's all for the sake of plot. Don't worry about it." he grinned (and at his use of brackets in speech again). Then finally he went to address Scar, "Uh... before that, I should tell you a few things. There is something called the DeathStar approaching the planet... this could be a problem, I mean after all The DeathStar tends to destroy planets. You ever hear of Alderaan? No? Well that's why." he shrugged as he then read some more of the incoming posts and he sighed heartily... "It always saddens me to see a loli get hurt... excuse me. Things seem to really be kicking off at Sky City." and now he was really distracted from Scar's original request. He looked at Reinforce who seemed to be wondering what was up and he gave her a quick wink, injecting a thought into her mind. Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it. I'm sorry to have to leave you even briefly like this, but I've got to put something right and trust me when I say you'll appreciate my intervention later. he threw in a reassuring smile as he stood up before saying, "Alons y!" he mimicked The Doctor, having always wanted to say that and then... he vanished in a spark of awesome. (There is a lot of things of awesomesauce in these actions isn't there?) ...Near (or in... -I forget-) Sky City... He appeared in midair pretty high up before he began to fall at great speed. "WOOOOOOOOO!" he controlled his dive before stopping his decent inches from the ground right near where Dearche, Vader and the impaled Levi were, he sat crossed legged while hovering in mid air before he let his feet touch firmly on the ground. He spun around immediately and bowed down low to the loli who was currently keeping Vader alive out of spite. "Why hello there, White Haired King." he then fully extended himself to his normal standing height. "I understand you may face confusion at the prospect of another new face, but I wish to assure you that I am no enemy. I am a friend." he calmly stated before turning to look at the cute, blue haired Levi. AS A FOUNDER OF THE LOLI CRUSADE! I CANNOT LET A SINGLE LOLI SUFFER! he proclaimed in his head and held his hand out gently, using his power to numb any pain the girl might be feeling into nothingness before causing the support pole that had skewered her small body to vanish from existence while at the same time, keeping her body afloat in place and instantly sealing her wound, before allowing her body to land slowly and softly onto the ground beneath her. He injected a single thought into her mind just as a formality and perhaps a form of comfort. The Bushy will always be with you. He turned to face Dearche again and bowed his head respectfully again like a gentlemen. "I apologise if you feel my intervention was unneeded, but as a fan, I couldn't just sit back and do nothing. It is not in my nature." he took a glance up at the Star Destroyer that was approaching them while trying to decide if he should intervene some more or not. For now, he decided to just wait in place and see if the mighty Green midget that reminded him of his own Grandmother (not that she was green, just that she was small but very powerful) could stop the oncoming battle ship. That, and he was interested in seeing how Dearche reacted to him. He was indeed truly curious.
Wow or Wau? ...That is some insanely messed up maths.
*cough cough* It was a strong move.. Not his strongest move. XD /geekmomentover
And posting in the OOC again cause he felt like it, Bushy backed up Droid's statement while showing off... "Yeah lol, the only character who would possibly know about the Death Star is me thanks to my ability to read the stars posts." XD and he added a smiley into his sentence because why not? He was doing everything else ridiculous.
Well... I'm gonna spend my foreveralone with a nice beer I think... alone in a pub... Hmm... wait? Why does this sound familia- Nevermind... http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?121178-Bushy-is-foreveralone Been there done that. So... I'm now butting in on Smurfy's thread. Is anyone interested in a British tea drinking looney with a David Tenant coat? *inserts list of attractive qualities here* /notdesperateatall
To be fair, I'm not 'stealing' anime and as RvR said CR didn't pick up BRS, and that the way you support anime are buy buying the merchandise that goes with the series. It's all about sales man. The fact that I live in Britain where we have pretty much no anime channels mean that unless I watch fansubs and streaming sites, I can't watch anime like this at all. There isn't much of a difference between watching an anime online or via TV anyway (it's still effectively free), and besides... I do support the business heavily (again... sales lol). I'm always buying manga, and many other anime goods including DVD boxsets online or at the regular anime expo/conventions and I try to help out the business whenever possible. If anything, the fact that I watch fansubbed material online aids in the anime's sales, because if I like the series that I've watched online then I usually go out and buy the boxset when it's released or the manga etc. This isn't just the case of with me, but it's like that with many other people. Many have actually argued that fansubs and the like have heavily aided the anime/manga industry in this way. It's a way of introducing the products and the many amazing series out there to people much further than they'd ever reach otherwise. Anyways, if you don't believe me, feel free to check my vlogs on youtube and take a browse at my room where you'll see my collection of manga, DVDs, figurines, wall hangings and other memorabilia and the like in the background. (and those aren't even good examples... my collection has gotten even bigger since way back when I last made a vlog) I'm a die-hard Otaku and proud of it.
I decided to postpone posting judgement myself until ep 2 because I wanted to see how that first part concluded since episode 1 was more of a setup episode rather than having anything conclusive (I know it's just started but I felt at least ep 2 had some sort of finality to the intro and that just helped me personally analyse the show since I now know where I'm at and can feel comfortable with the themes and ideas). A while back, RvR helped me out by linking me to the OVA etc a while back, but I'll confess that for the while I still haven't watched it as I decided I'd wait for the anime series and go from there. So I'm completely new to the BRS series other than things I've heard. But anyway... my views so far: I'm in two minds about it right now. I like the anime and I like the idea behind it, but I feel the shifts between the two worlds (if that's how they'd be described) are a bit overdone. I personally feel it would benefit if they extended the fight scenes to last longer. However, I do like the emotional development and character development that the normal world has to offer, so that's why I'm in two minds. The rapid shifting is slightly annoying, but it's not to say that I don't like both worlds. I don't know how else they could do it anyway. :/ Either way, I think that with more episodes, the series will continue to grow stronger and so I definitely intend to stick with it. I usually do with all anime I watch anyway unless they are excessively bad - and this isn't bad. It's actually very good. I'm just not sure how good yet. But obviously, it being the beginning of the series, I'll find out more in time so yeah.
I was wondering about your thoughts on ep 2 of BRS, good sir? ~ I decided to postpone judgement myself until this ep because I wanted to see how...
And so... since a timeskip was in order, Bushy decided to write a quick summary of the following events regarding Subaru. After all, they were in a TARDIS, what did timeskips matter? Subaru, having realised the young girl had grown attached to her decided to do what she seemed to have a habit of doing lately. Adopting... Well sorta. It wasn't a good idea to take a young child on a journey around the universe with you and a weird but wonderful Doctor of some sorts... no. So Subaru decided on the next best thing for now. She got the Doctor to take them to a place she knew the girl would be safe and happy. They headed to Subaru's place where she left the young girl with her sister, Ginga and the other Numbers (long story... NOTE: watch Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS for more information). She promised the girl that she would be back soon, and the kindness of Ginga and the others were able to persuade the young child she was going to be happy from now on. And then... *Summary Over* "I'm back! Doctor! Amy!" Subaru called as she approached the TARDIS. "...I think things'll be just fine here. Anyways! We've got a job to do right?!" Subaru shouted with enthusiasm. ~ Natsu's excitement peaked at hearing that one of them was capable of making fire. He'd get on well with these guys. Not that he had just invited himself into the group (Disgaea style) or anything. "Just aim them right at me!" he called out to the blue haired short guy. "And don't hold back. Give me all the power you can put into it!" he braced himself ready for what was about to come. ~ Minato was the leader of S.E.E.S when exploring Tartarus... and for once found it weird to be under someone elses orders besides Mitsuru who he respected greatly and listened to despite how she insisted he lead the group. However, he had no issues with following the requests of this white haired floating young girl who somehow commanded such authority. He looked up at the... 'all to familiar from some strange sci-fi movie' ships approaching them from great speed and made his decision on how he was going to tackle them. "Thanatos!" he pulled the trigger of the Evoker aimed at his head, and sparks flew out from one side yet again as Thanatos took form behind him. His 'wild card' ability allowed him the unique power of possessing multiple Persona which he established through the bonds he had made between his soul and others. Thanatos was the strongest Persona in the Death Arcana... he would be more than enough for the task at hand. Minato held a hand out in front of him and then swiped hard. Thanatos gave an almighty blood curdling roar and charged forwards using it's Tempest Slash ability and cutting through one... then another of the oncoming ships. But there were still more, and Minato was about ready to unleash the true power of the Death Arcana. "Megidola!" he shouted, and Thanatos suddenly summoned dark vortex's of energy which he flung at the remaining enemy ships and caused the darkness to intensify and materialise around them, they suddenly crumpling from the inside as the darkness pressed in on all sides. Thanatos roared again in it's cry of victory, and it had occurred, that Minato hadn't even taken a simple step from his spot and hadn't even broken the slightest sweat in defeating these what would likely have been powerful enemies. OOC: Click for Thanatos's wiki page "I'm more powerful than a fricking genie! Although my voice will never be as epic as Robin Williams." Bushy revealed in his answer, and then it occurred to him. He had a favour to do for someone (His bro, DarkTraitor), and he had the perfect way to do it. And heck... it'd be awesome to have her along for the ride anyway. "You need to know more about that Tome, Scar... so I have just the person. I mean, I could tell you myself, but she's hot, so I feel like summoning her." he decided. He raised his hands in the air and clapped twice before in some dramatic special effects (that he would let DarkTraitor decide on for the characters summoning) a girl appeared... a rather beautiful one at that. "Ah greetings Reinforce Eins" he greeted the girl like an old friend. Then he gestured between her and Scar. "I'd like to introduce you both. 'Force- (he shortened her name in a way he was sure she wouldn't mind.) "This is Scar, King of the Pridelands and the only Lion with thumbs." Then he gestured the other way. "Scar, this is Reinforce Eins. The Tome of the Night Sky." he finished his introductions. "You see Scar, the tome you possess is the Tome of the Purple Sky. So I figure Reinforce here is the best person you could possibly want for information about a Tome of similar design." and then in his flirty manner he gave the girl a wink. "That, and she sure is cute huh?" Then he did a slight double-take. "Then again... you're a Lion so I dunno if you'd find humans attractive... I can always magic you up some Lioness company if you wish though. That wouldn't be too hard." he shrugged.
God... I can see all the punch ups between Grey and Natsu already... and heck, depending on the Jellal you choose... Natsu will likely punch him too either way. lol
It's not gonna be just yet, but prepare for some ultra funny soon. I have become aware of the fact that everyone seems to be copying Scar's love...
I'm not all that fussed now to be honest. So he can have him. It's fine, I'll find a way to take advantage of it. Like Bushy (myself) can simply troll Sasuke with talk about how he was meant to be my (his) character. Or something... Either way, it's just simpler this way and it will help to maintain the order that Droid is trying so hard to protect.
Subaru nodded at The Doctor's words and continued to hug the young girl close to her chest, all the while humming a lullaby she remembered from her past. ~ "Huh? Fire... Oh this? I didn't even notice it. Natsu laughed as he responded to the newcomers and scratched the back of his head. "I was fighting this wolf guy who just attacked me the moment I got here, and I guess I got carried away." he laughed again before his stomach groaned loudly. "I need food... none of you have any fire do ya?" Thoma scratched the back of his head lightly once more, in confusion. "There's... fire everywhere. That's the problem." he said, not entirely sure how he should react to the pink-hair's statment. "Huh? Are you mad? I can't eat my own fire... it just doesn't work like that." OOC: Thanks to Dark for letting me include that one line from Thoma for the sake of convenience. ~ Minato looked on at the scene around him... He was used to weird things. His whole life was weird, but... he was seeing more and more weird things than ever before. He had thought that things wouldn't get more weird than The Dark Hour, Tartarus, Shadows and Persona... How wrong he clearly was. He looked up at the girl hovering before him, amid the scene of chaos. She had asked him a question which he was inclined to answer. He then looked around at everyone else. The girl's fighting in front of him as well as the Dark cloaked helmetted (so a word now) figure which he could have sworn he had seen in a foreign movie once as he sent a chunk of flaming debris flying at one of the girls. He pulled out the gun shaped evoker from his side and pointed it towards his head as he looked at the white haired girl in front of him again. "I'll fight..." he spoke softly, and yet in a confident manner. All the while though, Minato kept his eyes on the 'White Haired Lord.' hoping that now he had answered her question, she would answer his. "...What are you? And where is this?" he asked simply. And suddenly, Bushy appeared by Scar's side again completely unphased but with a big grin on his face. "You were right. No need to worry. And now..." he pointed to the sky like a character he loved from an anime series called Gurren Lagann. "I shall explain the severe delay that I went through!" He pointed forwards at nothing in particular. "I was so in awe from the amazingly epic musical performance you put on that I nerded all over the floor. It was messy... Once I had recovered from my fangasm, It had occurred to me that the entire cave had been destroyed and I was being crushed by rubble. Thankfully, since I didn't write that I had died, I didn't die from it and I thus discovered my immortality. So... There I was being crushed (none painfully) and it occurred to me there was still a lot of tea left to finish, so for the whole time of my absence I was finishing the wonderfully brewed tea prepared by Sebastian. After all, it just wouldn't be British if I left it." he concluded. "And now... just because I'm feeling rather pleased after all the tea, ping pong and musicalities..." Bushy clicked his fingers just for effect, and the cave that had been wrecked was now restored to it's perfect condition... in fact, somehow it was probably better than before. "No need to thank me. That musical masterpiece was legendary. It bought a tear to my manly soul."
...Cough cough. I love how you asked but then didn't pay attention to what was said... But alas... you've done it now, you might as well have him. I can't be fussed to fight for him (not that we'd fight, but yeah) So just go ahead and take him I guess.
Well, welcome back I guess.
Just sharing this: http://www.animeph.com/spring-2012-new-anime-season-preview-list We've got a lot of goodies coming up. I'm very excited about some of the releases this year. To name a few (There are so many awesome manga being made into anime, however I'll just put a few of the older anime that are getting new seasons here)... Eureka Seven Ao Hanasaku Iroha 2 (Didn't expect this... but I'm really pleased.) Bakuman 3 (Well... I know we still have 2 airing, but I'm pleased to see we won't have to wait long for the next one as well) Dog Days 2 (We all saw it coming, again, I'm very happy about this) And a few OVAs. Kimi no Iru Machi (This manga is a sequel... well... it runs along side Suzuka, so I'm pleased to see it gettong an OVA) Mass Effect (I'm not a big fan, but I'll watch the OVA. Maybe I'll enjoy watching it more than I did playing it.) Movies: Ao no Exorcist (Duh...) Fairy Tail Evangelion 3.0 Kizumonogatari (prequel to Bakamonogatari... I don't see many people missing this) Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika – Movie Trilogy (need I say more?) Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 2nd ~ Anyway... those are just a few things I picked up on from a quick glance. As I said, there are a fair few I didn't mention just because of how obscure the manga are or that I couldn't be bothered (yes... I am that lazy) I know a lot of you will be excited for Stein's Gate and the like. But yeah, don't take my list of what I'm looking forward to to heart and be like "GAH! WHY YOU NO PUT THIS?!" because... I may have just overlooked it. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the link and I'm also interested in seeing what you guys are looking forward to this year.
Bushy Brow, using his power of fourth wall breaking entered the OOC thread in an outrage. "I MISSED THE MUSICAL NUMBER?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" And then he decided to talk in an OOC because he could do that. OOC: Thanks for the kind thoughts. I know where my other character are etc, but wasn't sure about Bushy. And now I'm super gutted that I missed the musical number... lol
