"Family?" Jasmine repeated the word. Her family had run out on her, would she be willing to accept a new one?
Jasmine's nerves lessened. Never before had someone said something so comforting to her. The bed and dresser stilled. "You promise...?"
Jasmine tried to calm her nerves, but the idea of those people so close to her again was a bit too much. The bed and dresser clamed to a tremble, but the door and window stayed tightly shut.
"What?" Jasmine's voice nearly cracked. The memories of the people who had been at her house raced through her head. The bed and dresser shook, the door and window shut with loud bangs. "You're joking... They're not here... they can't be...."
Jasmine shuddered; she never did like bats. "They'll stay outside, right?"
"Wait... what?" Jasmine questioned. "You mean like bats...?" She didn't think that anyone would sleep during the day be active at night.
"We all came inside," Jasmine recalled from earlier that day. She tried to joke, "And I think it's a bit late for anyone to be taking a walk."
Jasmine grimaced at the pain in her head. "But..." Her protest trailed off; there wasn't really anything she could do for Logan.
Jasmine's eyes snapped back into focus, and she shook her head. She pressed two fingers against her temple, a headache now throbbing. "W-what was that?"
"She's upset," Jasmine murmured, her eyes distant, head tilted to one side. "She doesn't want to be here; she wants to be home." She paused, completely lost in Wolfe's thoughts. "'Not again... Don't happen again...'"
Nah, that okay. I know what you're talking about; I doodle it all the time. XD
"Logan?" Jasmine spun around, registering the thoughts coming from outside her room. The hostility and confusion made Jasmine anxious.
Yeah, I guess I could do that. ^^
Maybe my sister would, but I'm more of a Ed and Al fan. XD

Yeah, I was thinking of making mine like that - just shades of the same couple of colors - but I decided to just go for it with a bunch of colors. XD
