@Megara, @Vinyl Scratch Amethyst is now 19 years old and Nights is now 20 years old. Happy birthday, you two!
@Beau: Get out here, bro! It's your turn! Beau is awesome! Anyone who says otherwise loses a finger, similar to how anyone that said @DigitalAtlas wasn't awesome lost their head.
Yes. My mom will come in a lot of times to tell me good night (because she always goes to bed a few hours before I do), and pretty much every time just her talking will make me jump, making my hands slam on the glass computer desk I have.
It was either yesterday or Friday, but Windows Media Player by default only shows the time counting up, but if you click on the time, it'll show the time counting up and then the total time, and if you click on it again, it'll show the time counting down. Clicking on it again will return it to the default state.
As with a lot of games, the game has elements. However, I can't seem to remember how to tell what an enemy's element is so I know what element to use against it (e.g., ice is weak to fire and vice-versa).
So this is something I've been curious about. When and how do people that were born on February 29 celebrate their birthdays? February 28 or March 1? How does it work? Also, just for a fun fact, our next February 29 is Monday, February 29, 2016.
@Mixt A day late, but better late than never (March 6). Happy birthday!
Don't forget to set your clocks one hour ahead. :)
By me:
Is using Stylish just like working with CSS on vBulletin or XenForo? @Misty helped me a long time ago with removing underlines that showed on vBulletin.org Forum on Google Chrome, and now I'd like to change the font family on XenForo Community. Their XenVetana style has font I like, but I don't like the fixed width, and their default style is the only style with fluid width, but I don't like the Georgia font and would like to change all font to Arial, Tahoma, or whatever other font family I like. I'd like to try and figure this out on my own first, though, and if it's just like working with custom CSS when making styles on vBulletin or XenForo, it shouldn't be too hard -- at least I wouldn't think so.
@Excasr Come back and visit us. :)
Technically speaking, I know that video game characters don't really have sexualities, but putting that aside for this case, what do you guys think? I'm asking because of the way he acts when searching for Riku in Kingdom Hearts, and then when he finds him in Kingdom Hearts II, he gets down on his knees and holds his hands while crying somewhat about how he's been searching for him. Not that there's anything wrong with two straight males or females doing this -- I'm not a stereotype -- but it is unusual for that to happen. I'm just curious if Sora might have feelings for Riku or if their friendship is just really powerful that Sora didn't really know what to do when he found him.
[IMG][/IMG] doesn't work. Images don't render on profile posts, just links.
I feel so loved, just like @Vinyl Scratch did. View attachment 37779
When rounding, if the number is four or less, it stays the same; if the number is five or more, it's rounded up, but it seems games don't round up. Why is this? For example, this isn't my video, but if you watch from 7:32 to 7:47 here, you'll see that Marcello's "Pray to the Heavens" attack did an average of 130 points of damage. To find the average, we must first add up the damage done to each individual character, which, from left to right, was 136, 135, 142, and 110. The total damage dealt on the party was 523. Now, take that 523 and divide it by how many numbers there are -- in this case four. 523 / 4 = 130.75, and look at what we have: .75, which means we'd round up to 131. 130.75 > 130.8 > 131. So why are they saying the average was 130 points of damage? Another example is Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. Just using the magic side, there are three healing spells: Cure, which recovers 25% of the max HP to one person, Healing Rain, which recovers 50% of the max HP to everyone, and Vital Energy, which recovers 75% of the max HP to everyone. Using Delma, for example, an ally on the Deimos side, at level 20, she has a total of 237 HP. At 237 max HP, Cure heals her 59 HP, Healing Rain heals her 118 HP, and Vital Energy heals her 177 HP. To figure out how to get these numbers, you would do this, where n is the number we need to figure out: View attachment 37774 View attachment 37775 Going by the game's amounts, the number for Cure is right. However, the numbers for Healing Rain and Vital Energy are technically wrong. They're staying the same and rounding down instead of rounding up. Why? Just as an end note, it's thanks to the instructors I had when I was studying for my GED that I know all this math.
Experienced it for about the third time tonight in all the time I've been driving on the way to my aunt's earlier with my mom as we were passing a semi on the freeway. We're getting several wet weather systems with periodic heavy rainfall.
Just a test in The Spam Zone for @v&v.
You guys know the drill.
Unlike other albums, this has no gear dropdown menu containing a Delete Album option, but is there any way to disable it?
It's a conspiracy, I tell you! A conspiracy! View attachment 37755
