I don't understand why they're acting like it's an emergency. Twelve inches (a foot) is nothing. There are images and videos in the source below. Winter Storm Seneca Blasts into Midwest, Threatens to Bring Blizzard Conditions Source: The Weather Channel Published: February 20, 2014
It appears that the XenMedio add-on KH-Vids is running doesn't have its own phrase for its tab. By default, it's Media, but it's been customized to Video Portal for KH-Vids. Media is a phrase in the XenForo core, so this causes other issues, such as here: Spoiler View attachment 37590 View attachment 37591 This is what it should be: Spoiler View attachment 37592 View attachment 37593 It should be possible to create an individual phrase for the add-on and call it in the appropriate template.
Some of us like to create a list of raw YouTube URLs, for example, but we can't do that because of automatic embedding. Something like: YouTube link 1 YouTube link 2 YouTube link 3 Disabling this won't disable embedding, just automatic embedding, because you'll still be able to click on the video icon in the editor to embed videos.
@Ienzo has gone back in time!
Note: I'm using Kingdom Hearts as an example, but this applies to any game, obviously. My friend and I were watching the final Pete battle in Timeless River in Japanese a while ago, and I brought up how Goofy's battle cry when receiving knock-back damage in Japanese was not the same as in English, but he said it was, despite it sounding differently, because being hit is being hit. In English and other different languages (except Japanese), his receiving knock-back damage battle cry is relatively the same among all of them: "Owwwaaa!" In Japanese, he sounds like a clown when receiving knock-back damage: "Wahahaha!" I've included five videos below in various languages. What do you guys think? Do you think "Wahahaha!" is the same as "Owwwaaa!"? Now @Mish has left staff. You will be missed. :( So, let's see, we've recently lost: Chevalier Clawtooth @Peace and War @Fork and @Ienzo, you are the only European staff remaining.
@Odamadillo This is the second time we've had to search for him. Commence the search, as it is unusual for him to go missing in action like this. :D
I'm not sure if this would be more appropriate in The Spam Zone, but eh. Does anyone know the exact hex values they use for the green and blue colors of the HP and MP bars?
One to two feet of snow expected in the Cascades, and we've got some light rain down here in town. I think our dangers of a drought have definitely gone away now. A while ago they reported mountain snow to be at 51 inches.
I went out and checked on two of my applications; on my way out of Super One Foods, a shady guy with a backpack (I'm guessing homeless?) asks if I have a cell phone he could borrow real quick. I just keep walking, and he says, "Young man?" but I still keep walking. I left my cell phone in the car (since I don't want it potentially going off when going in to turn in or check on my applications), so that worked out for me. I wonder, though, if I should have called 9-1-1.
