To me , it's just cheating in that particular save that you are using to cheat. if you beat the game in a different save and then cheat in a new save then yes in a way but just that file you're cheating in. if that made sense..but no , not really cheating if you already beat the game , i mean i beat mortal kombat shaolin monks yesterday with kung lao. and used a 999999 exp code so i wouldn't have to worry about gaining a lot of exp to get all the moves i wanted in a new save with liu kang. call it cheating if you wish , but what it comes down to is your own perspective and opinion

Well. even if you save with some and your codebreaker/armax file goes wrong. You can still delete that file and restart. but doing this means you'll have to reinsert the codes you had to inserted yourself. now. try a different memory card. and if that doesn't work with the second memory card doesn't work , it might be your PS2. which i doubt. I'm betting you mostly need a new memory card.
i did get the orb , i had to free Sonia and Kano and defeat kano. jax gives me a green orb and such , there is green orb in the same place where Sonia was in shao kahn's arena.. i just need a strategy now.

Well , warping to monstro and finding it there is sort of a 25% , it's better if you were to manually go to it if you want to go inside monstro. Because it's a higher chance of finding it there , it works for me every time when manually going there. :)
Just buy another one off e-bay or ARMAX. :) and is there another way to use codes on emulator other than pnach files or emuhaste?

Unfortunately , I'm kung lao and can use my hat once before having to wait a brief moment before it comes back , by that time i lose a bit of health. in some of the video's i've watched , the two prisoners on either side of shao kahn's throne arn't there , instead one of them is replaced with a green orb which says something about jax. but i don't have this , is this a differance between ntsc and pal? or is it something else?
