Luigi looked around cautiously and anxious as everyone introduced themselves. Was no one going to talk about what was going on? As they all huddled towards Terra, Luigi decided to explore Mushroom Forest, or what it once was. Holding his Poltergust handy, he neared the edge of the clearing. "Oh, Mario. Where are you?" He asked the sky, hoping Mario was already on the case. As the conversations behind him became quieter in the distance, Luigi noticed something: some of the pebbles on the ground were...shaking. Curiously, he moved forward until he was virtually over them and knelt down. "Wha-" Suddenly, something green shot out from the ground! "Agh!" Luigi fell onto his rear and stumbled backwards as a Warp Pipe grew out in front of him. "Um, um, um!" Luigi freaked, looking around to see several more Warp Pipes popping up around the group. "Hey!!" He yelled at them, standing up.

"What is this about?" Asked Knuckles, tensing up his body. The red echidna looked around hurriedly, fists balled, and prepared for anything.

"Sylveon, Chesnaught, go!" Calem called two of his Pokemon just as he saw crystal weapons emerging from the newly-arrived pipes. Nervously, he rubbed his Mega Ring. "Not these guys again," he mumbled, "Get ready, guys! Serena, looks like we're at this again!"


"By the order of the All-New Smithy Gang and the Dark Mage Smithy himself, you are all hereby under arrest!" A mechanical voice called out from the darkness behind the growing army of crystal weapons. The ground shook as a hulking figure appeared: A bipedal machine armed with several firearms walked onto the scene, a masked man at the helm. On his shoulder, a cannon rested. The man entered his coordinates into a panel before sending them out. "Oh, I'm not kidding anyone," Vile yelled as his shoulder cannon aimed itself towards the group, "We're here to blow everyone up!"


"Oh, yeah?" Zitz asked, cracking his knuckles. "You and what army, punk?" He demanded defiantly. Then he realized what he said, "This army? Come on now..." he stepped in front of Ritz and Squirtle protectively. "You're going to have to do better than that!"

"Oh no," Terra whispered, unsheathing her blade. Their extraction plan wasn't ready yet and she seriously doubted that these 'heroes' were prepared for a battle of this caliber. She looked around, seeing them completely surrounded by Smithy's forces. "You will not blow anything up!" She yelled, stepping forward to take point as Luigi scuttled past her back into the group. She waved her sword with a snap, causing it to glow. "You let Smithy know that we are not letting him take this world, or any other world!"

"Oh please, sweetheart" a sultry voice challenged. The Dark Queen appeared near Vile with Franziska and her group of soldiers. "And who are you to defy my Smithy, you trashy bimbo?" She laughed at the sight of the opposition. "Don't they teach how to count in your world? You are outnumbered! Ha! Wait...it's you!" She growled, pointing at Zitz.

A flurry of some form of arrows landed in the spaces between the heroes and crystal weapons, signalling the appearance of Xigbar. "Well, then, looks like the party started without me!" He exclaimed, a hint of false disappointment in his voice. "Better late than ever, I say," he waved his guns as he disappear and reappeared behind the group. With Vile, Dark Queen, and Franzika in front and himself in back, he laughed. "Is that you, Roxas? Yeah, it's gotta be. You got that angry kitten face you always do! Do you think these new friends of yours are going to end up any better than your last ones?" His Arrowguns disappeared as a Corridor of Darkness opened on either side. A squadron of crystal weapons exited through each. "As if. You gotta learn to stick with the winning side, kid."

The Replica raised his blade again. This large foe was definitely someone that he wouldn't be able to take down by himself. No. The Replica didn't need help; he didn't need anyone. "Just who are you exactly?" He asked, missing the irony of the question coming from him. "You're not a Heartless. Are you with them? Are you with the Organization?!" He demanded. The cruelties placed upon the Replica came rushing back as his body started to glow. "Tell me!!" It was then that he sensed it. He could smell Darkness nearby. "Is that it? Then I'll enjoy this even more!" He lunged forward and slashed at Zangurak, faster and stronger than before as he started to embrace his Dark Aura.

Lysandre ducked with above-human reflexes, avoiding X's shots. "It seems your cyber suit is a little more advantageous than my own," he chuckled as he stood up. On his wrist, his Holo-Caster beeped. He only needed to flash a quick glance towards it to see a set of numbers. "Ah, Silver. It looks like Vile found the rest of them. They're not far." He tapped on the Holo-Caster -bringing up a map- as if he wasn't in a battle. "Pyroar! Let's take this battle to the slaughter! To the left and Echoed Voice!" Pyroar growled and ran to the side before roaring towards X and Shulk. "Meinfoo, Force Palm them back!" As his other Pokemon yelled its own name, Lysandre saw it slam its palm into Shulk's chest, causing a shockwave to push him into Pyroar's attack. "Come on, Silver. Vile has the reinforcements, so we will take this battle there!"

Oh, I'm glad they killed her. I was almost shaking as it was happening, but I do hope they bring her back just like you said. It's also notable that it was recently revealed that Sony has plans for a female-led film in the universe (Black Cat? I need more Felicity Jones in my life).

"Go, Kendric, go!" Zauriel cheered, fists in air as he watched his childhood acquaintance battle the golems. Like everyone else, though, Zauriel failed to notice Kendric step out of bounds. "Oh...oh, no," he frowned, his eyes turning a dark purple as his hair shortened to ear length.
He watched with a curious and apologetic look as Kendric stepped back into the crowd, hair now short and red. He flashed his friend a smile of encouragement before watching the next two students take the stage. "Uh oh!" He exclaimed, turning to the red-head near him, "By my calculations...we're next!"

"What? No," Sam argued with Alice, "Look, ya just said it yourself. We're purposely bein' placed together. But ya just wanna play their game? Whatever role they have for ya, ya gonna act it out and follow the script? Ya ever think that higher-ups are simply keepin' the little rebels together so they can keep an eye on ya -and for some reason beyond my narrow understanding, me? Didn't think ya would settle for that, considerin' the performance that put everyone in this little group, yours truly excluded. So excuse me for not wantin' to be a rebel without a clue." Sam stood up and shook his head, "The kitty from Hell in me thinks you're someone to listen to, that ya got wisdom beyond your years, but I am not part of this; I am not, for the sake of anyone here or even myself, plottin' some major revolt against the administratio-" Sam jerked when the professor shot him down. "Never mind, then," he growled, sitting back down. "This is tyranny," grumbled the student. "Tyranny in the 'lidrory!' Put that on your stage and dance to it," he muttered, grabbing the list from Lex.
"I don't care one way or the other, s'long as I'm not with Ms. Zeus-from-Hades over there," he nodded his head towards Frida.​

I needed the joke explained, but I laughed way too hard once I got it.

Anyway, it's a trend in comic books that whenever two superheroes meet for the first time (and even when they just run into each other in the same issue sometimes), they have to fight. Avengers did it and is still doing it: Iron Man vs. Thor vs. Cap, Hulk vs. Everyone, Hawkeye (though he was brainwashed) vs. Black Widow. Even looking at some of the other movies: Iron Man and Black Widow had a semi-altercation in IM2, Iron Man and War Machine in IM2, Thor and SHIELD in Thor, Cap and Winter Soldier (though he's not a hero yet) in The Winter Soldier, etc. So, I'm not surprised nor disappointed that Batman and Superman are doing it. Now, apparently modeling the whole film around the aspect? Yeah, that may be a bit much, but I'm hoping Snyder leaves it so Bats and Supes aren't best of friends at the end and still distrust each other (maybe that's why it isn't called World's Finest? Because it a World's Finest movie yet). I mean, from what I've been reading about Bruce Wayne contributing to Metropolis' restoration and even the recently leaked set photos of Affleck as Wayne rushing to save someone, Bruce definitely sees Superman as an unnatural threat beyond the means of regular authorities and if there's one thing he was around for as Batman, it was to deal with those threats, even if he tried to keep it in Gotham. The leaked SDCC footage of armored Batman does lead a little bit too much into TDKR territory for me, but we still don't know the context. Maybe they're not about to fight, maybe Batman is actually gearing up for battle with the big bad and calls Superman to meet him for help after they mash it out.

I can't remember who said -if it was Whedon or Fiege- but someone in Marvel mentioned that we probably won't see all of the gems individually. Though, there's a scene in Thor where you can clearly see the Infinity Gauntlet for a split second in Odin's treasury.
