Now that Robert Downey, Jr. has signed onto Captain America 3 and the Russo brothers have claimed that there will be a whole lot of big names in it, the idea that Marvel is leading up to a Civil War status-quo -most likely to replace the current lineup- is getting some credibility.
There's a rumor that the Punisher had a pseudo-cameo in The Winter Soldier, but not counting him nor Guardians of the Galaxy characters, we have a -confirmed in the MCU- quite the roster:
    Iron Man
    Iron Patriot
    Black Widow

    Hawkeye
    Incredible Hulk

    Captain America
    Falcon
    Winter Soldier
    Doctor Strange
    Black Panther
    Daredevil
    Jessica Jones
    Power Man
    Iron Fist
    Ant Man I
    Ant Man II
    Deathlok

    Nick Fury
    Coulson
    Maria Hill
    Vision
    Scarlet Witch
    Quicksilver

    Sharon Carter

And that's not counting anybody else from Agents of SHIELD that turns into a hero in some way or will at least have a movie role (BJ Britt has been seen on set for Age of Ultron); it's not counting the villains; Guardians of the Galaxy and what they could lead into (Richard Rider as Nova, for example); the myriad of still-living villains (Crossbones being a HUGE part of that); characters that have appeared but haven't donned a super identity (Pepper as Rescue, Leonard Samson as Doc Samson and Sterns as the Leader, etc.); Inhumans; rumored characters such as Spider-Woman and Captain Marvel; or the rumor about Sony allowing Spider-Man to be tied in.

It wouldn't surprise me if Marvel is hoping for a Civil War storyline and an Infinity Gauntlet storyline.

Last week's episode had one of the best fight scenes, in my opinion. I must have watched May slam FakeMay's head into that table 6 times. I'm actually really glad Talbot wasn't Hydra after all (as of now), but it would have made sense. Why would Hydra only be in SHIELD? They should have found some way to infiltrate non-SHIELD government agencies.

Really excited to see Mockingbird tonight~

PSA: Tonight's episode will reportedly show Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond, a.k.a. Caitlyn's late Fiance, a.k.a. one half of Firestorm! Martein Stein, the other half, will be played by Victor Garber (of Alias and Titanic fame). The way I read it, it'll be Raymond's body, but Stein is stuck inside. Sometimes Firestorm will speak as Stein, other times as Raymond, but he will be kind of "schizophrenic" at first. That said, we'll see "Firestorm" in December.

On another note, Flash is officially getting a full season. More episodes were ordered, bringing the full count to 22 for Season 1.

Vinnie Jones, who played the Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, was just cast as Brick (http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Daniel_Brickwell_(New_Earth)). Brick's real name was actually seen in Season 1, in the "List."

I'm...leaning towards this. It's too silly to be serious (i.e., balloonman), but too serious to be silly. I mean, it's a comic book show, so I want some silliness. The last episode was a bit better, in my opinion, and actually embraced the comic book side of the silliness. But...ugh. Not to mention, there's very little copwork for a show about cops. Each case seems to be solved by a very lucky break.

That said, I read an interesting theory about how Oswald becomes the Joker instead of Penguin. I don't know, this show is just...not good.

The Gengar Code is "while supplies last." The first Gamestop I went to was out, but I went to my old neighborhood's and they had plenty. I saw several negative comments online about Gamestop refusing to give the code out to anyone if they didn't either preorder the game or buy something (not all gamestops, honestly, but some). I didn't have that problem, but the very nice girl first did ask me if I had already preordered oras, then gave it to me without question when I just said "yeah." She also offered to move my preorder from the Gamestop I preordered it from to that one which would have saved me an hour away (I keep forgetting they're in different districts; had the same problem with FFXIII).
I soft resetted a couple of times to get a Nature I wanted (got the code, saw the delivery girl, saved, got Gengar, didn't like the nature, L+R+START+SELECT, talked to her again, repeated until I got the one I wanted).

On a similar note, I bred my first perfect Pokemon (Bulbasaur! Got five IVs I wanted, Egg Moves, and the nature I wanted).

That's the general rule. I can tie in a story giving someone powers later on. If you want them to have their powers as a secret or something, that can be allowable (but not guaranteeing it). I just need to talk to you about who the character is and how we can work it out.

I KNOW. Though I really love Hummingbird's about face in her first appearance. I rewatch that episode every once in a while just because it's so goddamn amusing to me. Though explaining to my non-anime-understanding roommate what the hell I was watching when she walked in and heard "WHY DON'T YOU JACK OFF INTO A BOTTLE OF FORMALDEHYDE AND CALL IT OUR FIRST BORN?" was just awkward.

You got the wrong thread lol. This is for Marvel Comics' Axis Event, not City of Heavenly Fire (which was a great ****ing book, though).

That said, on the topic at hand: I was really interested in Axis. Not so interested that I read any of the "Road to Axis" books beforehand (I stopped reading Magneto early on with the decision to read it by volume, not issue, to save a little bit of money and I just don't read any of the Avengers book), but I kept up with the info. That said, Axis #1 was...meh. I mean, the story itself was not bad. The art was pretty good (some panels were just bad, though). But...Remender annoys me as a writer. Look, I wasn't into the whole #fireremender thing over the supposed statutory rape thing (it wasn't that. It was just bad storytelling to not mention that the girl had aged in a different world to her twenties up until it was necessary so she can have sex with the Falcon), but Axis felt like he was trying to turn the Avengers' dialogue into the dialogue from the movie. I mean, seriously, really horrible stuff is happening that is literally changing the world for the worse in moments, and everyone is just tossing out witty one-liners? Okay, the one-liners are, for the most part, funny, but when everything said is pretty much a one-liner, the comedy wears off ESPECIALLY WHEN THE RED SKULL IS LITERALLY MAKING EVERYONE ON EARTH HATE EACH OTHER INSTANTLY WITH THE POWER OF PROFESSOR X! Not to mention the disregard for continuity in the other books; I understand that for events, exact continuity tends to get ignored for a more general history for the sake of plot, but...um...come on, we're ignoring the last two years of Cyclops' MURDER OF XAVIER except for the costume change and the actual murder? We're ignoring the fact that the X-Men hate him and the Avengers are hunting him and that he's a wanted felon? Come on now, Remender, you're better than that.

This. I didn't want to, but the clerk was so damn convincing. He tried selling me on preordering both SSB and OR/AS when I was buying Bravely Default. I walked out with a preorder to
AS thinking "HA. TRY TO USE YOUR SALESMAN JEDI TRICK ON ME? WELL, IT WON'T WOR-****, I still got one." Decided that I don't treat myself to new games enough so I just accepted it.

Jaded teenagers in a cryptic private school with names Olive Silverlock, "Maps," or Headmaster Hammer (a.k.a. "Hammerhead" [not a teenager, obviously])
The school is thought to be haunted so...it probably is.
Protagonist with a mysterious past and a "partner" who doesn't quite fit in (in this case, is a LARPing, cartographer-hopeful, little sister who literally nomnomnoms her food)
    And the art

are a few of the obvious points. Really, though, it's just the tone of the book; I can think of no other way to say it except that it reads like a manga.
Hell, if it wasn't for the fact that an upskirt scene actually didn't show the girl's underwear, I would have thought I was reading a Batmanga (well, that and the fact that it was left-right and colored)
