I dreamed that I found a kitten and I called it 'kitten'.
It doesn't matter whether his joke was ~hilarious~ or not. When people say something 'jokingly' it doesn't have to have a good setup or punchline or what-have-you, the only criteria is that what is said isn't true. I also don't believe that he was back-pedalling with 'lol jk' because oftentimes the 'lol jk' is the punchline. But, like I said, that's not the point. The point is that this kid is in jail already, awaiting his sentence over a comment that he shared with an acquaintance. If that doesn't smack of ~political correctness gone mad~ or ~big brother is watching you~ then I don't know what does.

Utterly ridiculous and very Big Brother-esque. I feel bad for the kid and hope the petition to have him released works out. Jokes like that, although in bad taste, are very common in many walks of life, not just in online games. The fact that he clearly indicated that he was just kidding makes this incident all the more stupid.
ngl, I like this feature, even if it is just a small thing. I'd be for having it back.
I'd rather not cancel it in case he comes back within this week. So I'm not going to set a sort of time period to respond.

Actually, the debt would have been about 2.74 in dollars, according to google. £ = British pound stirling, not Euros. Not that it really matters, as the cost is still pretty minimal. imo, the school should have been more lax regarding their kitchen policies in this situation. The kid's parents should have been informed, rather than the kid being turned away. The school has a responsibility over childrens' wellbeing and that should include feeding them. I'm not saying that school meals should be free for all, but I don't think that a child should ever be refused service.

I didn't mind his music or his persona when he was first becoming popular in the mainstream. It was obvious that his target audience was pre-teen girls, so I was indifferent to him. But it seems that he's starting to go kind of off the rails lately. This, however, is forgiveable imo. Even the museum staff have commented that it was innocent. I read it more like "hopefully we could have been friends" or something along those lines.
Hnnnng. Love the theme. I hope I can enter something but I'm going for a weekend mini-break starting from Friday so we'll see. For anyone lacking inspiration, try here and let the nostalgia flow.
