Take was tossed back in pain at the hit, as he did not have his keyblade to defend him so he took the brunt of the damage. He looked towards where it had gone and he held his hand out to re-summon his keyblade back over to him. He did his best to try and firm his grip up so he could hold onto it despite the weight. He was doing his best to hide his stress, but he was going through a bit of a panic over the fact he couldn't keep a decent grip on the keyblade after nearly a month of training. He was raised on a world where he was a warrior since he was at least ten. He had five years under his belt using a sword and shield, but he was not at all trained in two handed weapons. And there were some people holding it with one hand but there was no way, it was so heavy. At least to him. Or perhaps it was just more cumbersome to him?

Take looked over at Mika when he was addressed and made sure to keep a straight face as he responded,
"Yeah. I'm alright. You alright?" he was not alright but he had no reason to admit otherwise. He took a deep breath, homeworld training came back to him. Under fire, remain calm. Show no fear. Strike in with force but do not over-swing or it opens one up for attack with no defense. He got himself into a stance before he took a quick breath and charged at the next set of enemies.

This time, he had no problems. He handled the keyblade almost as if the last round was just a fluke, he went after two soldiers this time and suffered from very little recoil upon hitting them, after having a bit of a toss up for a while, both of the heartless faded. His back to the group, for no one to see his face, made him appear as though he was composed and had it together. But his face was distressed and sweating just the slightest bit. He took another breath to calm himself down and recomposed before he moved back towards Mika and said,
"I've got your back if anything jumps at you, alright?"

Mora looked over at Alder and there was a moment where she seemed to ponder what Alder said, conflict in her eyes. But that was until a portal was heard behind her, and she turned to go look over as Ria walked on out of the portal. Seeing the work done, there was a sort of perverse joy to come out of their voice over them being in the portal. As Ria spoke, the tone that seemed to prevalent was clearly the closest to Chrono's voice, "So you got three of em, good job! The leader, the dog, and the shell!" Ria walked into the circle with no restraint as he walked up to Kara and touched her face, holding her chin upwards as he said, "And the leader is sleeping. Typical. Always the dreamer." he let go of her face and said, "It looks like you're almost done, you've got almost everyone important."

"You said I only had to get as many as I could."

"I know the rest are heading this way, I need you to only get one more. If they come here, just try to get them into the circle and that's all I'll need."

    "Which person?"

"There's a boy in the group with darker hair. But not the one with black hair."

"That's... hard to decipher. Can you do the face thing like you did with Ae-"

"I have no access to anything of theirs. So I cannot change my face."

Mora looked confused and Ria sighed out in frustration, "They just look like a girl okay. Listen, it doesn't matter. They're a major problem to me, and if you get them in there, everyone'll be safe."

Mora's eyes lit up at the idea of everyone being safe and nodded saying, "I've got it."

"...you all already tried to save my village. And you only made it worse." Mora responded to Kara, shaking and clenching her fist in anger before she chuckled a bit, more out of nerves than out of enjoyment. She then looked over at Alder and said, "And he's the reason they're asleep, so he HAS to have the power to wake them up! He might be the only way they wake up!" she then looked over at Chrono and said, "And I don't particularly like to be lectured about not trusting people for killing two people by someone who betrayed all of his partners and is the reason I am stuck in this mess and why you are all ill equipped to help me." Mora's face softened a bit before walking slightly closer to Chrono and looking him in the eyes and asking, "Or am I wrong, Aevum?"

Ria let out a sigh and disappeared instantly before Relli could hit him. This caused Cerdic simply to plummet to the ground. As Ria reformed some place else, they heard a very loud whisper and chuckled, "I think I've officially killed enough time... I've got an appointment to make. But I'm coming back for that journal later. So I hope you're ready. But I've gotta go deal with three of you." and a portal reappeared as he turned to walk in saying, "Have fun with my heartless friends though."

There were about 50 shadows from blocking the path. You can try and make it through them without fighting, or fight through. Group choice is a a fun one sometimes.

    ---

There was a sudden flickering done to the dark orb and a loud whisper-like noise. And a giant circle started to form on the ground, around at least Kara and Chrono. If Alder tried to back away, Mora suddenly ran up behind him and pushed him heavily and harshly into the circle, and darkness began to seep up and snare them all. Mora stared at the group and said,
"Ya know... Ria told me I should be cautious with you guys since he was certain you would be more cautious about it... but this'll work."

Mora folded her hands together and said,
"I'm sorry, he found me before he found you. We have a deal you see, I capture as many people from your light group possible, he lets my village free... I didn't think he'd jump in and kill two of you... but it made my job easier. I guess..." Mora moved a strand of hair behind her ear and said, "I'll tell you this though, the more you struggle, the more painful it gets... and then you fall asleep. Just like everyone else here. So I would just wait if I were you..."

Ria let out a sigh and outstretched their arms for the heartless to surround him, as if for protection. This caused Cerdic and Daeni to bounce back, Daeni back towards the group and Cerdic away from the group. Ria walked on over to Cerdic saying, "I didn't think you'd all be so offended by the idea of losing darkness. Weren't you all babbling on back in the day about how much you hated darkness? I figured at the very least you'd all be beaming over the idea of basically being pure light."

Ria leaned on down and picked up Cerdic by the collar. There was only so far the cloaked figure could lift him, the figure being only around 5'9'' while Cerdic was 6'2''. But once Ria had him up, his voice distorted, and spoke exactly in Cerdic's own voice,
"Why don't you just give me that journal, you spoiled brat, and I'll let you on your way so you can stop pretending to be something useful. I mean, you're just garbage, just like Grandpa always said you were. So why try fighting when he'll never approve of you. You should just give up."

    ---

Mora looked scared, trying to stay behind the rest of them as if for protection. Then she noticed something towards the center of the town, and she pointed over at it saying,
"I-is it... is it that thing?"

In the center, there was this broken looking dark orb that was just swirling with darkness in an uncontrolled manner, it looked as though the darkness in the cave was coming directly from that. There seemed to be a type of... keyhole within the orb. Mora looked at it and asked,
"Do you think your keyswords can do anything to that thing?" she asked almost as if it wasn't an actual question. Like there was a hint of certainty to it.

I would like to ask for you to reread, I was wondering what people liked and did not like about pineapple on pizza specifically. not whether or not it is "wrong or right" to put pineapple on pizza.
People tend to describe the taste as "sweet & sour" and I just honestly find it tastes more sour naturally.

This topic is not for the screamers, I actually am curious if there is an actual explanation as to why some people dislike pineapple on pizza, as someone who actively likes pineapple on pizza.

Why do I like it? Well, I think the pineapple makes a nice compliment to everything else on the pizza. I find the sour taste of pineapple to break the homogeny of the rest of the flavors. Cheese and bread have a similar kind of taste to me, and normally the tomato sauce which offers a sweet flavor will help to break that, but sometimes I need a strong flavorful taste on pizza and pineapple does just that for me.

Now, I've had pineapple on pizza in multiple ways and it doesn't always work. For example, the one time it didn't was when it was on a pizza that had barbecue sauce on the top and it was not very good to me, there was just too much going on. But when the pineapple is paired with ham I think it works lovely.

I assume the reason most people do not like pineapple on pizza is because of pineapple itself. In this case, have any of you a substitute for me that achieves the same effect as a pineapple on pizza? For I have yet to find one.

Please explain your stance on pizza in the more gratuitous and language wasting manner available. And remember that I did actually put this in debate corner. So I am actually expecting something.

This is probably a better solution for what we've been needing. A lot of staff have a particular discomfort with moderating in a chatroom setting (well, I know I do) and I'm sure there are people much better qualified for that who are already active in the discord.

I am curious though because this wasn't said: do you intend for discord moderators to only have staff related powers in the discord, or are you attempting to offer this as another position easily spotted on the site?

Powerline helped boost Kaida's confidence a bit over how much damage she did. She took a moment to breathe before her keyblade resonated ever so slightly. She looked on over at Hikaru and said, "Hey. Hikaru." she readied herself up and said, "You go low." before she began charging at the boss, not fully sure what was going to happen necessarily.

Aelis had this look of pondering for a moment after he mentioned leaving to someplace nice and get a drink. She was feeling parched and did not think some older man would be trying to ask someone her age out on a date. Placed her hand up to her chin while pondering before saying, "I mean, I'd normally be up for a drink, but I don't wanna get expelled the first day for not going to the opening ceremony. And you did just ask instructions on how to get there from..." Aelis took a moment to process the comment he had made about the other person being... boring. Aelis walked passed the man asking about the drink to walk up to the blue haired guy and said, "Babyface over there said you're the boring type. Would you consider yourself boring? I mean, I just met you, I don't even know your name. But I guess being a bore is something that can be picked up relatively quickly and I have always been curious what the personality of someone boring is like. Or is listlessness mixed up with the boring personality?" Aelis looked between the two saying, "Or, am I missing the concept entirely? I mean, if I'm fascinated by someone who is boring, is it ruining the overall point?"

Take went after a soldier but he wasn't ready and also Take just totally could not hold onto the keyblade and it went flying in another direction and ended up killing two shadows. Considering the fact he had been trained with swords for years he wasn't sure what the point of this training was if he couldn't even hold the blade properly but whatever things died and he didn't go into maximum overdrive

Ria listened to Cerdic's question and chuckled at his question, "That's a question... what am I? What are you? Does anyone really know the answer to that? Mmm... I guess I know." Ria walked a bit closer to the group and replied, "I am a result. A dark result to a tantalizing hypothesis." The cloaked figure crossed their arms and said, "I'm pretty sure Aevum doesn't even remember what he took from you if we are being completely fair. But I know, and Aevum can't give that back to you. Because Aevum is lost, and soon all fragments of what remains will be gone. That's why. I need his journal, and I know you all have it."

Ria laughed a little and said,
"A Giga heartless told me you guys found it."

    ---

Mora was silent for a moment when he asked that question before saying,
"I uh... I got separated early on. I didn't actually trust what was going on was a big deal..."

As Alder opened the house, there were three people inside, but all of them were asleep and had this aura of darkness around them. They were moving as if constantly in a nightmare. If they looked through all the houses, everyone was like this. Some people were in chairs sitting up with this happening. One person was actively standing up with this same problem.

Mora looked at all of them, scared and asked,
"W-why are they... what is going on?!"

The groups continued on their way to... well... essentially the same place. But because of the distance between the two groups, one was going to be there before the other no matter what happened. As a result, it may seem rather arbitrary that when the gold team (graveyard group) ended up getting to the town, a line of heartless (mostly shadows) appeared, blocking the way halfway down the path inside the town. The darkness was still looming over the town like nothing was necessarily fixed here like the graveyard seemed to have been.

After a moment of pause as the heartless swayed, a portal appeared from the middle of the group before it disappeared, showing a robed Ria appear, who gave a small salute as they said,
"There's the rest of ya. I was wondering when you'd show up." Ria walked only a bit forward before putting their hands on their hips as they said, "Honestly I felt like the rest of your group seemed to be a little lacking but you guys sure made some progress... unfortunately the other.... three, are falling behind."

Ria was silent for a moment before saying,
"Aw man, did I spoil the surprise. You guys are probably wondering "three? five people went this way"... well." Ria held their hands out for a moment before two keyblades appeared. One was Xen's, and one was Chloe's. He held them out for a moment, waiting for a reaction from the group. Then she realized they probably didn't recognize it so they sighed and explained further lifting their right hand, "Xen." then they lifted their right hand, "Chloe." and then they let the keyblades disappear before making a motion with their hands and made a noise, similar to that of slicing off a head. Trying to say they were dead without saying it exactly.

    Ria sighed and said,
"I could spare you guys and you could all be off on your merry way. I'll give all of you back your memories, and you can leave this world... but you guys have something of mine. I want it. If you give me that, I'll let you go..." there was a pause as Ria waited for the answer, but soon Ria was shaking a little and suddenly blurted out, in a very familiar voice, it was Chloe's, screaming, "Don't listen to him!" before Ria blocked their mouth in panic.

    ----

The silver team (town group) followed Mora. Mora looked very worried as they approached, and as they reached the path, there was a trap door at the side of one of the mountains. It wasn't exactly hidden, it was purposefully made so people could spot it. When Mora lifted it, there was a ladder that went down into the dark. First, Mora had motioned in a sort of "after you" motion, but after there was no response. Mora took a breath and went down first. It was relatively hard to see at first, but the deeper down the shaft they went, soon light began to appear. And once they touched the ground, Mora motioned for them to look.

The sanctuary was like an underground village on its own. Houses were made of stone, there were gardens that grew in the dark corners of the sanctuary, but... it was very quiet. Mora took a step forward towards the village and nervously said,
"Hello? Anyone?!" her voice echoed throughout and she immediately looked worried she was too loud.

Take had never seen anything like this before.

It was actually rather terrifying, seeing the fissures appear in the earth while he followed Choma... well... more out of panic than duty. He was trying to wrap his head around the environmental changes. And when Choma told him and Mika to keep their keyblades at the ready, Take summoned it out pretty much immediately. Keeping himself in a position where he could attack an opponent at any point. He followed Choma's patterns mainly because he assumed a fissure would not suddenly appear there right after Choma stepped. He was wrong a few times though, and tripped up to get to a safe space of land before he was able to hold his ground and take a deep breath before whispering,
    "This is a nightmare..."

It reminded him of when the dragons could not be held back, and his home would fall apart. This only happened once or twice in his lifetime but every time it happened it was just as scarring. After all the time rebuilding, becoming comfortable... you never really could. And Takehiko had taken this whole experience as comfort so far. He wasn't worried his home would burn to the ground and the ground would shake as if the very world was screaming for help. Take would never make that mistake of becoming too comfortable again.

As he continued following Choma, he kept occasionally looking back to make sure nothing happened to Mika and her cat. If anything happened he was ready to leap back, even if he was ill prepared to face what was attacking. That's just how he was, and probably how he'd always be. He just hoped everyone else was okay... if he believed in prayer, this would be a time he'd use it.
