Tears rolled down Sameire's cheeks. Her brother - the one she'd looked up to so much - had been planning a coup? She didn't want to believe it, but the raw emotion of her father's voice had her nearly fully convinced. The use of her old nickname also struck at her heart.
"I'm sorry, Dad," She began, her voice still unsteady. "I didn't mean to doubt you."

OOC: You did a good job with the set up! :glomp:

"Where'd you get that?" Angel exclaimed, a broad smile taking over her features.

"Dad," Sameire called after her father suddenly. Her fists clenched by her side, nearly hidden by Tristan's shirt. "Please... won't you tell me what's wrong? We used to sit together in the garden all the time.... Is it Tristan? Did I do something wrong? I know I haven't been myself, but you're the one who... who did those awful things to my brothers! I want some answers!" By the time she's finished speaking, angry tears were threatening to spill out of her eyes.

"What are you doing?" Angel tilted her head, her eyes narrowed.

OOC: Doh! >< I've been swamped with other threads!

BIC: Hannah frowned, not liking the idea of going back with everyone coming along. "They'd better be fine, 'cause I don't want to wait."

Beatrice tried not to shudder. "S-still... They wouldn't trust me anymore."

Sameire came out from behind the tree and approached her father. Coming up with a quick lie, she answered, "I came out to see the flowers. I saw you and thought that you'd like to be alone, so..."

Aduial had a feeling it would have been better if either she or Aidou was in front and the other in back of the group, but since the sun blinded Aidou, she had to stay with him. Without fully realizing what she was doing, her hand moved from a guiding position on Aidou's elbow to a more friendly position in his hand.

Aidou went a bit rigid at Aduial's change of hold. His expression was masked as usual, but he was perplexed.

"Yeah right," Angel scoffed. "I think you're past strike three. Time to give up."

Sameire stopped, nearly at the kitchen. She changed her course for the gardens. Her brown, cloth boots made little noise on the cobble stone as she quickly and quietly made her way to a tree that was near the castle door. She hid behind the tree and listened to see if she could hear what her father was saying.

"Pay attention!" Aidou's commanding voice rang out louder than the buzz of the villagers' voices. He stood in front of them, guided by Aduial. When their talking had hushed, Adiou continued. "We will be your protection on your journey. If there is any trouble, come find either myself or my companion."

"We'll do all we can to help you," Aduial added, her tone softer. She had a bad feeling that most of the villagers wouldn't like having a Vampire as their protector.

After she'd translated the first chapter, Sameire left her room to get something to eat. She hugged herself, still wearing her brother's shirt. She walked down the hallway and the staircase quietly, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

Remember: In the book, Bella gets a paper cut from the present's wrapping. Then Jasper loses it. Edward throws Bella out of the way and she lands on the table. She is cut on her arm by a shard of the glass bowl that was broken. That's where all the blood came from. ^^

I think that New Moon will be better than Twilight, in sense of script and effects, and hopefully it won't have those outdrawn silent moments. I know they're there for emotion, but the crew should know when enough is enough. Though I'm sure that Team Jacob would love for a silent, sweet moment between Jake and Bella. ^^ I wouldn't mind it either. I'd like to see their bond grow.

I also spotted the differences between book and trailer. =] I think that Team Jacob people (such as my sister) will be happy. I'm looking forward to the Italy footage. ^^ I really hope that sales aren't affected by the 'lack of Edward' or whatever fans call it. I'm on Team Edward and I liked New Moon (except for Bella's craziness and all that jazz).

I must give a round of applause to the special effects department. They did an AMAZING job on the wolf. =D In my opinion, books will always be better than movies (exception: Coraline), but I try to keep an open mind when I go see a book-made-movie. The cast of New Moon is an exceptional one, and I'll be there at midnight to suport them. ^^ (And yes, Bella is a sad excuse for a main character. She needs to get over herself. ><)

I'm not going to give my opinion on this for fear of being torn to shreads by fangirls.... >> To me, there are good and bad things that I can see from this. But what I normally do with movies made from books is to try to separate them. For example: There's Twilight the book, and Twilight the movie. Regardless, I'm going to see New Moon to support this amazing cast and crew. Here's the trailer, and other news from Stephenie's son, Seth.
