Well pro-choice really implies that it's the women's choice as to what she can do. I believe adoption should be understood to be under the pro-choice category as it still is a choice. If someone wants to go through all the trouble of carrying a kid and giving it to another person or people that really want one and can't conceive a child on their own, then more power to them. In contrast I can understand if someone doesn't want to go through carrying an unwanted child, especially if it's the result of rape. It's easy to take a blatant extreme position though when you're detached from the topic at hand.

Chances are we've found just another dead end hole to dump research money into. Most cancer studies hold very little in terms of control for treatment, particularly because cancer can be rather unpredictable. For the treatment to be "considered" a viable cure, researchers test within a 95% certainty. Essentially they have a 5% error margin. It may not seem like a lot of room to get something wrong but think of how many studies have found that too much of one thing can cause cancer and then come back out saying that not enough of that same thing can cause cancer. That, and research and medical facilities tend to do as much as they can within "the law" to acquire grants for further research. In most cases as soon as a sample has yielded a 95% certainty they make the results public without considering other retests in the odd chance that they sampled from that 5% area of error. This error, for example, could be the off chance that the people taking the treatment were actually in remission. there are certainly viable treatments that can stave off malignancy, but nothing to stop it dead in the tracks.

Social help implies nothing about wisdom. Social issues among young teens could potentially be up your alley. Walk about a little more though before you take on such a broad topic like "social help".

The amount of wishful thinking in some of that advice works well in a cheesy movie, but not reality.

The one thing you truly realize about the opposite sex when you grow up is that there are no real plans for this sort of thing. Just going with it gives you a better outcome than any possible scenario ever could.

Also I wouldn't exactly associate the word relationship with anything up there just yet. those things require communication and mutual understandings between a male and a female. First dates don't count.
