I'm challenging @Aelin FireHeart to a death battle... but with amv editing... and problems choosing a song. SUGGESTIONS ANYONE?
Aggressively pointing spears towards Take while he was still pumped on adrenaline from the previous fight was probably not the best move, but he when he saw others yield, he had the sense to adapt and work with the others rather than running in trying to kill these... people with strange masks. Take summoned away his keyblade as well and held his hands up and said, "Alright, we'll disarm just... lower the weapons..." Take moved his hands as if trying to figure out the universal symbol for lower. He wasn't trying to say drop them because he doubted that negotiation would have worked but if they were being rounded up at the very least he didn't want to have to worry about being skewered because some guy got too crazy with the pokey part. "Okay...? No..." Take swallowed a bit and squeaked out, his voice pretty high pitched and soft as he said, "That's fine then... no need to act civilized. Let's attack the other humans rather than the heartless falling from the sky..."
Kaida watched Luna throw the disc at Etrius and listen to her reassure them that they were in fact not real, just simulations. Kaida forgot about simulations, she thought she was done with them after going back to her homeworld. Before she could focus, she felt the disc thrown at her and she tried to move as quick as she could, but the throw hit. It didn't hurt her that bad. But then the points were explained and she lost one already, before she even knew it. Kaida rubbed at her ankle a little and then brought her hands up and slapped herself. Her head inbetween her two hands as she tried to get herself to focus. She took a deep breath and then reached behind her. She took the disc behind her back and moved as if to throw it at Etrius for revenge. But at last second changed her focus and threw it towards Cat. Hoping she could at least throw them off. She tried to remember this was not Cat, one of the first ones she met from this group. Someone whom she bonded with in Corona, and arguably was the first one she grew close to before she disappeared that one day. This wasn't her. This was an illusion. And Kaida wasn't going to allow any more illusions to blind her. Not anymore. Kaida threw her disc at Cat
It was the voice of the active one that broke through his slumber, and caused the gigantic dragon's eyes to open slightly and just stare off into the distance, not actually looking at a thing. Hevnaar was not fond of these morning awakenings, and the active one knew this. Even if asking for help, Hevnaar was not sure if he actually was true and he mumbled back, his voice a deep and grand tone, not matching the attitude of it as he mumbled, "Mmm. When the sun is higher..." But the human already had an offer up his sleeve, offering something in return. He didn't necessarily want to lose sleep, but if he was to gain something in return it least it wouldn't be a waste. Hevnaar stretched a big and got up from his sleeping spot and raised up his wings, to stretch them out in the sun, which was not necessarily hitting them directly at this particular hour. He flapped his wings, the air shifting causing the trees nearby to bend at the sudden wind before slowly moving back to their normal position, for another gust to reach. Before Hevnaar kicked himself up and was in the air, flying over towards north tower. Hevnaar reached the spot and made sure he was low enough for the jump and catch to not hurt the active one before he let out a noise indicating his presence. So he could jump in time. He was ready to catch him at the very least, though he wasn't fully awake yet.Verus awoke in a cave, staring up and very groggy. He kind of liked the space, a home of his dragon's that they acquired temporarily, but he almost missed the bed. Even if he tried to make it as comfortable as he could, it wasn't the same. Especially since Iilah was a heat absorber. No, seriously. Maybe it was some sort of cold blooded reptile thing but Iilahkog always got cozy up next to him while he was sleeping and he'd wake up freezing cold. And it sucked. At least in the mountains here where it was cold. Verus sat on up to stretch and yawn and spoke, "Iilah, we should get up and get breakfast." He stood up and walked over towards the edge of the cave, yawning, before turning around and raising an eyebrow, "Iilah?" "Yeah I know. Look, I don't know what it is with humans but I like to stretch my wings out in the sun when I wake up and when it's this early...""I won't get you food then." Iilah immediately jumped up out of her spot and sprinted towards him. She was the size of a larger tiger, not something you necessarily want to see something run at you in a dark alley. She stopped just short of Verus, all energetic and ready to rumble as she said, "Okay okay, food is yummy I'll help." "Nice. What are you in the mood for?" "Eggs of some variety? Maybe some bird." "Bird for breakfast?" "Any time to get the animals out of dii su ginun." Verus rolled his eyes and said, "Sure, get some good sized birds. I'll look for some eggs." and Iilah flew on up into the air and went on her search. Verus walked on over towards a nearby tree and went to go and climb up it. As he reached to get a grip, he couldn't get as good one as he could. He dropped his hands down and stared at his left one and his missing finger. Pact prices, some people had to lose way more. Some people had to lose way less. But a finger was definitely something he thought he wouldn't miss too much until he tried doing basic activities again. It took him forever to relearn how to hold objects, how to tie knots and his writing, while never the best because he was a peasant, needed an entirely new work around. But at least relearning a sword was not too hard. After getting over himself, Verus tightened his hands up into fists and backed up a few feet. He took a few steps back and then charged at the tree. As his legs hit he whispered, one of the magic chants he'd at least gotten the hang of so far, "Goltefend, gaar zey." Verus then, very easily, could run straight up the tree. When he reached the top, it was beginning to float above the destination. Like he was levitating briefly, he held onto a branch until he was safely over a very strong branch, near the nest, "Goltefend, lig eim zey zek." Then the floating stopped, and he landed pretty heavily on the branch, shaking the tree a bit but it did not break. He reached over towards the nest, where eggs laid unprotected, and he took them quickly, before he made his way slowly off the tree. At this point, below the tree, Iilahkog sat there with four dead birds in her mouth. She looked up curiously at Verus, keeping an eye to make sure he was alright. Once he was at the ground, Verus smiled and said, "I got eggs, let's go cook em." and the two headed on over towards the cave. Verus set up sticks and Iilahkog stared up the fire with no problems. As Verus cooked, Iilahkog laid down watching and said, "So today... I say we try to make our way closer towards the larger mountains. I keep seeing my kin heading that way. It might be our best bet." "Maybe... I just... I was hoping maybe we could look somewhere out of their eyes? After those decrees from all the kings... I..." "Pff, don't worry about those frul juns. They've got nothing they need to prove, ni med hi. Plus, half my kin would probably run off with the stone at whatever chance they got." "What is this stone anyway... you always seem to avoid talking about exactly what it is." "Well... what's the word... what's the word... ni do hin vun... mainly because.... ni do hin vun... there isn't a word in your vun... tongue... language! Language to describe it. And I can't think of something close enough. It is something that must be felt, it is something that humans cannot feel and therefore cannot possibly comprehend." Verus sighed and said, "Well, thanks for nothing." "Hey. Don't worry okay." Iilah walked over and placed her head on his lap, "I'm here for you first, iilah zeymah. Not the stone." Verus smiled at her and rubbed her head, "Thank you."
Take took the damage fairly well, letting out a sigh of relief that he was at least able to move. He tried to go for one of the frenzies that went and got Glyde. He hacked and slashed a bit at them before saying, "Hey Glyde, look alive." since he hadn't been really doing anything yet in the fight. Probably not his fault, but Take would rather he be at least alert and paying attention. Take got a few more before taking a breath and saying, "We might be able to clear them out if we get at them now." he wasn't trying to be authoritative he just didn't want this to go on longer than it had to. Heartless Killed: 10 Heartless Remaining: 26 HP: 17/20 AP: 0
Aalis listened to Arian and Lloyd's continuing back and forth and got more and more confused each time with each new piece of information gained. She wanted to focus more on what the big important task was but the teams ended up quickly taking precedent. When they got off the elevator, Lloyd began taking charge. She decided to just go with it at that point and she raised her hand up and said, "Aalis Bleu, 7th generation huntsman... well... more like 7th generation after skipping my mom, since my mom doesn't like the idea of me being a huntsman. I'm here because mom says practical training won't fly when academies exist for it... so I'm here." Aalis relaxed her head a bit, more towards the side, "Though this whole thing seems weird to me... like, I don't mind being part of this team, and not being a leader either... but why didn't we go through some kind of big test to see our teams. I mean, we don't even know each others abilities and how we would work together..." Aalis' happy demeanor broke briefly to show nervousness, "I don't even know how you guys would feel about my semblance..." Uva heard Blaine mention quick introductions. She tightened her hood up lightly while no one was really looking at her and spoke, in her softer tone, "I'm Uva Moore. My weapon is a dagger boot type. I'm wearing them right now actually, just without the dust and daggers set in." Uva lifted up her boots to show them briefly, "Ya know, just so I'm ready if anything happens... I'm from a village just outside of Vale so I've kind of... lived around here all my life." Uva had a bit of uncertainty to her voice but it was more of an awkward sound, like as if what she said was actually a bit more obvious. Once she was done she just looked on over to whoever was next, not really wanting to disclose much more than that.

He also has a serious anger management issue, where if someone pokes and prods at him too much, or does something he really doesn't like, he tends to lash out more violently. Pact Price: A silver furred cave-wolf, every month. They're big wolves but move too fast and hide in caves Hev cannot get to. So he's happy for his monthly meal when he gets it. Anything else: Hevnaar got hurt when he was younger, and has a large scar over his left eye, scales do not grow back in that area so he tends to be very defensive over that spot since it's the (khv won't let me say this word) in the armor so to speak.

Characters Name: Verus Milne Characters Age: 21 Character Race: Human Characters Gender: Male Characters Appearance: lel Characters Personality: Verus is a very loyal man and he works too hard, where he needs to be told to stop and rest or he very well may not. He's a curious mind, wanting to learn more about things probably best forgotten. He's not much of a troublemaker, but he will speak out of turn if something truly seems off about what is being said. Otherwise, he tends to be quite, and more willing to accept his place in society. Role in Society: Farmer Do You Have Any Weapons: A sword, given to him by his father for his quest. It's not a magnificently made sword but it is clearly one that has seen combat and can survive longer. Dragon Strength to Magic: 9 magic, 1 strength Dragons Personality: Iilah is a very sly dragon and a troublemaker. She's very protective of her property, and views Verus as property in instances where dragons get too close or comfortable. Pact Price: Verus' left pinky finger. Anything else: Iilah is one of the few albino dragons. Sometimes she gets herself dirty intentionally so people won't turn their eyes at her.
Take found himself trailing more towards the back of the group and constantly looking over his shoulder to make sure no one unfamiliar followed. He wasn't particularly fond of the circumstances but he figured if everyone was forward facing, that would be a problem in itself. But it turned out the enemy wasn't behind or in front, they were above. Take kind of rolled his eyes at the thought the enemies always come from above. He summoned out his keyblade and got into a bit of a defensive stance before figuring out which group of the Thrusters to go after. Once he knew, he set a foot behind him to steady himself for a charge, and he charged at a group. Take tried to isolate some of them from the rest of the group as he got in a few good hits with the first two heartless. Then he tripped up a bit, and found himself having to dodge roll to evade an attack before he swiped up again, not afraid to jump up to hit him. This was his kind of style to fight in, going for the aerial enemies while keeping a good footing on the ground in order to not be knocked over. Once he got three or four more. He stopped to check behind him to make sure the others were doing alright before chiming out, "Is it just me, or are these guys was easier than the other ones?" before he got his last few heartless in before he knew he had to tactically back up. He tried to at least get in an area where he could take the attack of the heartless if the others didn't kill them fast enough. Heartless Killed: 10 Heartless Remaining: 80 HP: 20 AP: 0

Mora dropped quite a bit from the ladder but clung onto it and she looked over at Alder, shaking and climbed up a little more. She took a deep breath and her physical shaking stopped but her voice still sounded shaky and hoarse as she asked, "W-would I? Or would you guys just kill me?" it was a genuine fear and her climbing up more so she wasn't in Alder's arm reach affirmed that as she added, "I-I mean, I did just try to kill you..." --- Ria was very silent after that exchange with himself. He stood up and stared off as the heartless backed away. Ria turned around and looked over at the house Chrys was in and he said, "So that's where you ran off to, huh?" Ria walked over and seemed to reach out before there was a quick pained reaction from Ria as he held his hand, "You managed to...." he stopped before he gave away information. He backed up and reached out towards the heartless to recharge a little more, "I'm not gonna give you that bit of information. Why don't you come out here friend, before I destroy more of yours... I believe there's only... four of you left? Well, five, technically. But that one's a traitor." Ria lifted his hand up towards his own head and poked a bit and said, "And he looks just like this. 'les ya don't believe me? In which case." Ria summoned out their keyblade and said, "Allow me to give you... a little gift." and he pressed the keyblade up to his own heart and a memory began to pour out. --- The entire party remembers this memory: The cave everyone woke up in was well lit and the extractor was letting out a slight hum, indicating it was operational but at rest. The entire party was gathering in as Chloe, Chrys, Kara, Marley, and Xen entered. Kara walked on over and said with a strong aura of authority, "We finished bringing everyone to the sanctuary. Every villager is accounted for. We should be clear for destroying the machine..." Kara looked over at one particular person and said, "We're ready when you are, Aevum." Walking into the middle of the group, Aevum stepped up, and for everyone, the familiarity of seeing Chrono and associating it with the name Aevum was normal. Aevum took a deep breath and said, "Great. You all remember the formation Alder suggested to prevent a potential heartless attack. Right? Well, now's the time to get into it." Everyone began to walk into a semicircle type position, facing away from the extractor. The exception to this was Aevum who placed their hand on the extractor and said, "Alright, I'm starting it now. Be ready." and he flipped a switch that caused it to begin. Darkness began to swarm towards the area, lightly, like little particles of dirt heading towards the extractor. Then heartless began to appear and Cerdic shouted excitedly, "Let's do this!" before charging at one of the heartless in advance and Alder shouted, "In formation, Cerdic!" "It's fine, Alder. He's got it." Kara tried to reassure as Cerdic got the heartless and backed back into line and swiped his hair back, "Yeah, I've got it." A couple more heartless began to pour in and suddenly Aevum said, "Take a step out, now!" as the machine grew louder. The group did as they were told and these was a noise that came from Xen who grabbed his heart and said, "S-something... something feels off..." "Keep going!" Chrys shouted as a large amount of heartless began to enter and the fighting continued until Relli let out a yell and dropped to the ground clutching their chest. Daeni heard the scream and tried to run over but Alder yelled, "Stay in your spot Daeni!" before he ran on over in front of Relli. Alder ran on over to stand in front of the heartless to protect Relli but the heartless ran past, into the circle, not even attempting to attack the party. Chloe noticed this and said, "Wait, I thought the heartless wanted us to stop using the machine, but he just..." Chloe turned around to look at the machine and so did Chrys as the heartless began to float, and dissipate into darkness and Aevum quickly pressed a button which led to everyone suddenly feeling pain in their chests as they watched the darkness floating out of their chests. The pain was incredible, immobilizing everyone so they were on their knees on the ground. Not everyone had turned around. Some people already passed out. "Stop this now. It hurts!! Aevum stop!" Daeni started screaming as she tried crawling over with all of the energy she could, but she just ended up passing out. "We trusted you! How could you betray us like this! Aevum!" Aevum looked over at the voice who shouted these words, it was Cerdic, and they looked at him with a bit of a smirk and he said loudly for everyone to hear, "This will work, we have so much power at our disposal, how could we reject it? Isn't it great to lose that darkness anyway? You're just giving it to me... think of it like giving me a disease." "Give back what is mine!" Cerdic screamed before passing out. Chrys seemed to stare forward, as his vision blurred and others passed our around him. Then someone ran straight at Aevum and pushed him. But the scene was dark and the last thing that could be heard in the memory, was the sound of Aevum screaming.
Kaida hadn't expected to be so quickly arrested when they were identified as foreign entities. Usually in a world, no one knew they weren't from there, they never found out and their leaving usually happened without conflict. But these people expected it, perhaps it was because of the inter-connectivity to the other games? She didn't know but she tried struggling a little bit against them when they were arrested. When they were pushed into the coliseum, Kaida looked around at the scene a little bit confused as she listened to the announcer speak. Something about a Turbo situation? Before booing ensued and objects were thrown and she ducked her head to dodge a couple. Watching a flying shoe head towards Beuce and hit him and she hoped it didn't hurt too bad She listened to this man's challenge, of course they were warned in advance about them, well at the very least it would make this more streamlined if it was an offer. And hey, she was willing to play a game against opponents for the password, she figured she could take 'em. That was when they revealed the opponents and her heart sank. She didn't really know one of them, she vaguely recognized Anora, but Cat and Etrius she definitely remembered and she stepped a bit closer and she said, "Cat! Etrius! Is that you?!" she hoped it was some sort of illusion or trick to make them feel worse about who they were fighting, but she hadn't seen them in so long that she hadn't the slightest idea if they were illusions or the real thing.
Mora looked over at Chrono when he asked about the crystals and said, "They've been there the whole time... the crystals..." she noticed at that point 3 crystals were broken, so she did her best to struggle and she got out and weakly fell to the ground. She looked over at the rest of them, and in a moment unsure of what they would do to her for all that, she tried to run off. But she was slow to it. Ria had not reappeared yet, which was probably a good thing. Mora got up to the ladder and tried to climb but she did not have much strength to really move at a brisk pace. -- Meanwhile, up on the outside near where Chrys was hiding. Ria appeared, coughing and scared and knelt down on the ground to try and conserve energy. Some of the heartless walked on over and seemed to disappear into darkness, and Ria began to absorb them. Ria pulled back their hood and their face was covered in sweat, but his face was definitely just plainly Chrono's face. There were slight changes, his nose was a bit more swelled up and his eyes were a golden color, but there was no real mistake. Ria looked at their hands as they recharged and said, "I should have let them keep some of it, in case something like this happened... so their light wouldn't be so strong... damn it." "You shouldn't have killed them. It wasn't your right. I hate the fact you did this." "I hate the fact you're still in my head." "You're the one keeping us all here. You wouldn't have a problem if you let go." "Don't kid yourselves. You think after all of this I'm just gonna throw everything away?" "We're your friends..." "...if you were really my friends, you would have understood why I did this."
