Melus was now curious, very curious. Enough where she was quiet at first to listen to everyone and she tried to get a look at the tracker but was too mentally distracted to really pay attention to what was going on on it. After a little bit Melus took a step back and gave Kiara a quick once-over before saying, "You know, I'm trusting the ol' man for now, since I have no reason to doubt his decision making so far... so..." Melus walked a little closer with her hands on her hips saying, "I'm wondering how good you must be at a fight." Melus realized what she said and she backed up waving her hands up, "That's not a challenge. I'm just thinking out loud... so... Kar-Kiara. What's your style? You more of the push ahead and hit 'em fast type? The i'll give you one really good hit and you'll cry type? the i'll take every hit and not even flinch type?" Melus was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. After a very good deal of silence she said, "Oh, I'm ready by the way... you can... ignore me if you'd like... I guess... just... curious about you. Curious about all of you in fact... but being promoted to a leader role that quick ain't no small thing."
Kaida ran at Cat again, to try and have her disc actually hit her this time. She'd caught the one she'd thrown before and ducked down to try and get Cat in the knee. But as soon as she tried, Cat dodged and was immediately backed up by Etrius. Kaida gritted her teeth a moment and tried to dodge out of the way before she found herself in a speed fight with Etrius. She herself was trying to get a good hit on him, while he was trying to get a good hit on her. And they just kept dodging each other and going too fast. Eventually, Kaida managed to trip Etrius and throw the disc straight at his chest. Which resulted in her getting a point. But she'd left herself a wide opening, and found herself not only getting a disc on her back from Cat, but also a disc in from Eon. At that point Kaida rolled out of the way and angrily threw her disc one more time at Eon. Who moved to deflect it, but only deflected it into their own hand. Kaida essentially ended up with a net gain of 0 by the end of this round and she scoffed at herself for it.

Ria seemed to watch Chrys as he spoke, with a face devoid of most emotion. With the intent on processing every word he had to say. And when Chrys was finished speaking, Ria smirked and said, "You know, when LIGHT formed at first, I thought you and Kara ran a tight ship. Kara may have been more of the motivational speaker, but you always seemed to be very cautious about the actions the group took, I respected that... but there's just something I just don't understand about you." Ria felt his fist tighten before saying, "Your willingness to shut off, to look at a scenario like your a computer calculating for the optimal move... do you back off and hold back when it comes to personal stuff?" he placed his hand up to his chest and sounded angrier and angrier as he began to shout, "Do you tell yourself you're going to wait for the optimal scenario when you family is hurt? Your closest friends? The people or objects you care about?" Ria stepped as close to the shield as he could get as he continued, "Can you stand back and do nothing while your world tumbles around you because you don't want to run into a fight blind? Do you take chances? Is that not time wasted? Time that you could spend to save what is most precious to you?" Ria took a deep breath and shook his head and chuckled, "Enjoy that deliberate wasted time then. I'm one to believe you shouldn't waste a second. And when something needs to be rushed into, you need to take that chance." Ria raised his hand up and snapped his fingers and a Darkside began to rise up from the ground, looming over. It reached it's arms up and tried to hit the barrier, but was thrown back slightly in pain. Ria took another breath and said, "If you won't come out, then I'll make it difficult enough for you to get out, or our friends to get in. And maybe I can pick off a few more of you ants as I do so... but I don't have the time for this anymore. My ambitions are beyond this world, and your prolonged existence only makes those plans delayed. And remember what I just said about wasted time." Ria backed away and darkness wrapped around him. There was a moment where Ria stopped, to cough heavily, before the darkness swallowed him in. --- Mora had reapproached the group during all of this rather slowly. She was nervous about their reactions to her, and she hid behind the wall of one of the huts suddenly. She looked around at the people of the village who seemed to no longer seem in pain, just asleep. Mora supposed they were stuck this way until their darkness was free, which made her wonder why in this particular case that this group was not in a coma just like them. Mora looked at the group after they seemed to settle down about the journal and she asked, "S-so what are you guys going to do? Are you going to go after Ria... or did you have other plans...?" she looked between each of them and said, "I mean... if you don't know how to deal with him... I... might have an idea in mind... I don't know if it'll work though."
