Well, not choreographed.
I'm not saying that any of these victims were wrongfully killed simply because of their race (though I'm not saying they weren't either). I'm saying that the cops showed up (or in one case, the neighbor) and because the victim was black, automatically assumed he was wrong based on nothing but was visible (in this case, skin color) and went into the with a biased mindset.
He's fine. He has two.
Did you watch the video? Tamir Rice had NO TIME to comply. They pulled up directly in front of him on the grass without warning and shot him without even fully getting out of the car. There was no assessment of the situation, there was no call put in, nothing. It's like the Ferguson case. The officers are trained and in either case, there was no taser used, no night stick, no physical training (and in Brown's case, he was 150 feet away -HALF A FOOTBALL FIELD- when he was perceived as an immediate threat that had to be shot first). The racism is an ongoing trend that needs to be addressed. 12 year old black male shot over an unloaded pellet gun. Brown, black, shot without warning. Trayvon Martin, 17, was shot and killed after an overzealous neighborhood watchman followed him, despite being told not to by actual authorities, on the basis that he looked suspicious. In a state where it's legal to open carry, a 22 year old black father is shot while on the phone because he was holding a toy gun. A 23 year old black male was leaving his bachelor party with two friends when undercover cops (cops NOT in uniform) drew their guns on them. Bell was shot in the chaos. A 19 year old black male was shot and killed by cops after a 911 caller lied about the 19 year old being armed. A 24 year old black former football player suffered a fatal car crash and during the misunderstanding while he was trying to get help, was shot ten times by officers. A 22 year old black male, also a father, was shot at a transit station by a transit officer who claimed he grabbed his revolver by accident, but was reaching for his taser. One of the officers called him a "b*tch-a*s n*gger" before the shooting 13 year old black male was accused of stealing from a white neighbor (he didn't) and shot in the chest by said neighbor and then more in the back. When the cops showed up, they arrested the victim's older brother for TRUANCY TICKETS and detained his mother in a squad car for two hours. They searched the home again (they had already investigated the family when the neighbor reported the burglary and found them innocent; they have been living there barely a month). The family of the shooter, however, was able to re-enter their home and remove "items" (their home was considered a crime scene at the time). The worst that any of the shooters have suffered, to my knowledge, is the loss of their jobs (in most cases, it was voluntary). Not to mention the countless book deals and TV appearances (**** you, Fox) and are made out to be saints while the victims have their characters assassinated (In Rice's case, the characters of his parents) and have been called thugs, criminals, and worse. Now we have cases of A group of very white government-haters armed with a lot of very dangerous weapons, defending a ranch that is breaking the law against federal agents. They were reported several times as wanting shots to be fired, even wanting to use women and children as human shields and threatening the agents An intoxicated, elderly, white male brandishing a rifle and threatening the reporting officers. Eventually, he handed over his gun, but it was returned the next day and no charges filed, even though it is illegal to brandish a weapon in the state. An 18 year old white male was openly carrying a shotgun in the street in Aurora, Colorado (where the theatre shooting happened). He refused to show any ID, even though he claimed he was coming from buying cigarettes, and refused to place the gun down. According to the male, he's been stopped several times. He received a citation for not showing ID. Or the cases of an black actress being arrested under suspicion of being a prostitute for kissing her husband in public, a human rights lawyer arrested for standing outside of a restaurant while waiting for her family and told by an officer, that "in America, wives take the names of the husband" when asked her husband's name, or the TV producer arrested for fitting the profile of "tall, black, and bald" of a robber while attempting to refill a parking meter. Manhandled and detained for 6 hours, even though there was footage easily accessible that would clearly show he wasn't the robber (if you read just one of these, read this one). I get that you don't want to call the officers racist for being in these situations; it really sucks to be lumped into a group because you fit a profile.
Happened November 22nd, but has not been (at least to my knowledge) reported on intensively. Though that's probably due to Ferguson being the main focal point in "Black Kid shot and killed by Trigger-Happy Cop" news at the moment. However, the biggest thing is how blatantly the cops lied, probably not knowing there was a camera nearby. Someone called 911 and reported someone in a park pulling a gun out and aiming it at people. The audio of the 911 call supposedly says the "suspect" appears young, but it's kind of hard to hear. I couldn't hear that part exactly. However, the caller mentions more than once that he can't tell if the gun is fake or not. When asked to describe the suspect, the caller describes the clothes before being asked "is he black or white?" three times. During the actual dispatch call, the dispatcher never mentions that the gun may be fake, just that the suspect is aiming a gun at pedestrians, nor does she mention any age for the suspect. Cops show up, there is an alleged confrontation and the suspect is dead. The cops call it in, saying that he appears to be in his 20s. Turns out, that the suspect who is now bleeding out for almost four minutes, is 12 year old Tamir Rice. The gun he was waving around was an unloaded pellet gun. In the testimony, it is stated that Tamir Rice -may he rest in peace- was sitting at a table with a few people before he placed the gun in his waistband. Cops showed up and asked him to put his hands up three times, but he refused. When he reached for the gun in his waistband and brandished it, he was shot by Officer Tim Loehmann who is a rookie. Tamir only received medical help when a nearby FBI agent who was responding to the call, along with a detective, arrived, but Tamir died from his injuries. Fortunately, there is footage, unlike in Ferguson. A nearby security camera caught it all. The footage starts at 2:10 on.msnbc.com/1B7wA7k a) Tamir was not sitting with a group of people. b) this may be the quality of the footage itself, but he is not seen to be reaching for the gun at all. c) The cops did shot him within seconds of pulling up. Did they have time to ask him to raise his hands three times? They were barely out of the car. d) Tamir did not brandish, nor did he reach for, the pellet gun. e) Officer Tim Loehmann (whose father claims had no choice but to shoot) has been on the force for two years. It has been reported that Tamir's father has a history of violence against women and his mother has had her own share of legal trouble because, you know, that's relevant to him being gunned down without reason. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/...coverup-of-a-senseless-murder?detail=facebook
I may or may not have jizzed at the end of The Flash tonight. Also, Marvel needs to make Mack from Agents of SHIELD Luke Cage.
You know what I like about high school girls? I keep getting older, but they stay the same age.
This post doesn't make any sense.

Agent Carter is confirmed to have a two hour premiere.
Unfortunately, production for the series has ended after the initial 13 episodes. NBC may change their mind and pick up a full season, but apparently, even Gotham is doing better. It's a shame; I hope things turn around. The show has definitely started to hit its stride after the "Feast of Friends" episode in my opinion. As much as I agree on the bisexuality thing, it seems that they're starting to get more leeway on that and the smoking aspects of the character. Though they weren't able to show him smoking at first and the creators were looking for a way around it, they showed him smoking while walking down the street in the (I think) second episode. It wasn't outright; he was shot from the back, but you can clearly see the smoke and even the cigarette when he turned his head. Also, near the end of the Feast of Friends episode, he kissed a male friend on the forehead. Though it doesn't really scream BISEXUAL, it seemed out of place for a normal show, making me think that it'll go the way of smoking (imply it at first, start showing bits here and there, and finally -hopefully- actually show it). Also, I wanted Jim Corrigan to be a little angrier.
A few upcoming things: -Manu Bennett will return as Slade after Arrow's midseason hiatus. -Though Laurel will be donning the Black Canary costume (Costume seen here) in the tenth episode of the season, it is definitely premature. She isn't a "superhero" yet and will make mistakes; when she takes a hit, she does go down. -Though initially wanting to keep superpowers on the Flash side of the universe to keep Arrow more grounded, the producers said that filming the Flash/Arrow crossover have changed their minds. Evidently, they originally thought that powers wouldn't work well on Arrow, but seeing the Arrow cast deal with it in the crossover showed that it can work if handled right.
I can see most of the cast in their roles, except for Will Smith. That's a strange choice, but hey, I'm all for it if it works. Still not sure of Leto as Joker. I always seem to miss his more recent roles so all I have to go off of is older stuff like Urban Legend. Willing to give him a chance, though. Smith as Deadshot, though...what a weird choice.
So while I was trying to ask my manager a question for a customer and subsequently ring up the next two customers, my manager was on the phone. Not a big deal, but he was obviously talking about me because he kept asking about my schedule this week. Then without any context, he pulls me aside and is trying to figure out when I have a few hours available this week. Since he already talked me into coming in on one of my days off, that only left one other day off. Evidently, as part of my supervisor training, I have to take a human resources class this week. Not sure what to expect, but he told me I'll enjoy it? I hope it's learning how to fire people. I really want to fire people. #notasadist.
I keep watching Gotham every week for some unknown reason.
I can't comprehend this text in my mental Amaury voice. It just doesn't work.
I know you mean down, but when I first read this, I thought you meant you were already done. Like, out of the tournament. I was like "****, you must be horrible at the game." I don't have SSB. Never got into it (though I am considering getting it now. Haven't made the decision). But if this gets done, I'd like to see a post with participants and winners.
I've been trying my hand at breeding with Pokemon Y to make a team for Alpha Sapphire (5 + Starter). I don't really play Pokemon online (that'll change once I get the hang of breeding what I want), so I didn't put too much thought into my team. I started wanting to breed a perfect starter from each Gen and chose my favorites from each. 1. Bulbasaur 2. Totodile 3. Torchic (only because I hadn't gotten a Mudkip yet!) 4. Chimchar (because I haven't gotten a Turtwig) 5. Oshawott 6. Chespin Though in reality Oshawott so I'd have two of each type. I don't really like any of the Gen V starters. If I had gotten Turtwig and Mudkip by the time I started, it would have been Bulbasaur, Totodile, Mudkip, Turtwig, Tepig, and Fennekin. I only got Bulbasaur and Totodile done in time with Torchic in the process. So I decided to change up my plans. I chose Mudkip as my starter because although Treecko is my fave Gen III starter, Swampert is my favorite final starter evolution from this generation (also, Mega Swampert looks beast. That gorgeous opening to oras just made him seem even more appealing). So...I chose a varied type party. I kept Bulbasaur because I love his evolutionary line (Moreso Ivysaur than Venusaur, though) for Grass/Poison Mudkip as my starter obviously (even if it's not bred or perfect, I always feel weird NOT using my starter for the first playthrough). Chimchar, I'm still finishing on breeding for a Fire/Fighting Eevee for a Sylveon for Fairy, since I want to try using that type. Didn't use any through Pokemon Y. Noibat because it's ****ing adorable and Noivern is ****ing beast. Flying/Dragon And then Rotom to fill in anything else; though I'm not sure when/how I'll be able to switch his forms.
I've seen the Reverse Flash and you can't tell who it is beneath the mask. My roommate says she can definitely see Eddie's chin/jawline, but I couldn't make it out. The suit looks good, though a little strange (it's pretty much Barry's, but bulkier and yellow; the yellow darkens and turns black as you go down including the arms so it's upper body yellow and black legs. Looks kind of like it dirtied as if he ran through something. Also, in the photos, he is clearly beating Barry. http://www.hngn.com/articles/45248/...pics-of-reverse-villain-are-leaked-photos.htm Also, in comics, Firestorm has almost always been made of two people. It's usually a combination of Jason Rusch and Ronnie Raymond or one of them with Dr. Martin Stein (or Gehenna a coupe of years ago). Both of the other two have been cast in addition to Ronnie. Martin Stein will be played by Victor Garber (fun fact: Robbie Amell, who plays Ronnie, said his wife is a huge Titanic fan and freaked out when realized Garber will be her husband's partner. She came on set and Garber was really cool about it, even shared a bottle of wine with her and talked about Titanic). Luc Roderique has been cast as Jason Rusch with the description: "a graduate student at Hudson University, working as part of Martin Stein's research team on the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project." So the exact combination of characters who will be Firestorm is in the air, but my guess is that it'll follow the comics where Ronnie and Dr. Stein are the initial combination and Jason takes over with Ronnie after Dr. Stein's death (considering it's the CW, Stein dying to make room for a younger face is very plausible). That said, since there are rumors of Firestorm being the next CWverse spinoff, a team of Ronnie, Jason, and Dr. Stein in a Felicity/Wells role is also possible.
