Or maybe It's only the brits.
So I was having a back and forth convo with my dad on the phone when he brings up randomly "Oh I know I'm behind but I finally decided to watch Spectre" and I have absolutely no idea what he's talking about and responds, "Ya know, that James Bond movie that came out a couple years ago? I think that Sam Smith song won an oscar?" Now I'm sitting there wondering who the hell Sam Smith is so I go and look it up and yeah, he's right on that account. But I clicked on the the James Bond films page on wikipedia. And there are a **** ton of these movies. I don't understand how in god's name people keep track of series like this. Like, they aren't titled "Bond: Spectre" or something like that, so I don't know it's a james bond film. But there must be a really dedicated fanbase because these movies rank in a LOT of money. But I've like... never watched a james bond movie before? Like, if I say "Oh I've never watched Back to the Future" or "Oh I've only seen the third Rocky movie" I usually get someone out there who goes "WHAT?" but if I say "I've never watched a James Bond movie" I don't think I've met a single person who throws recommendations out to me. Not that I really want to, it's not my genre or anything. Spy stuff is a cool "idea" but the only movies I really like in this genre are either parodies or... well, does Spy Kids count? No, probably not. They don't seem to be into the espionage type stuff as much as "look at our super cool gadgets" they just couldn't call it "Assassin Kids" or anything, but if they could you know they would. Anywho, James Bond movies. I hear they are good movies. I like some of the songs from them (honestly I'd pay good money to hear Adele sing Skyfall live, even if all I heard was her sing Skyfall). But I don't know anyone who really... talks about them? I mean, I'm not expecting Star Wars levels of frothing fanboys but I expect a presence in overall discussions about movies and I really... don't... My main bother with this is that I don't look at a title to a film and go "Oh that's GOTTA be a bond movie" and maybe it's because I don't look for them but I never see trailers in advance or people talking about the latest buzz around the next Bond movie. So when I see a movie name like "Spectre" I sit there and say "That sounds like the name of some really dramatic film involving someone working with a ghost to topple a society or something" If any of you read that and thought "uh cstar, that's not what I think of at all" then well, congratulations you don't have my thought patterns I suppose. So what was the end point of this? Idr now. I got my energy out. Maybe make it so bond films have titles like "Die Another Day" or "You Only Live Twice" cause I'll definitely look at those and go "ah yes, the pretentious title of a Bond film"

Take sighed, a little annoyed that there was yet another change of plans that they were going to have to work out, he wondered why they were being called by the "superiors of the masters" rather than them coming to help him, but a part of him remembered how the council worked in his homeworld, it's not like they'd jump into war when one was being had. The boy looked at the others before shrugging, "Alright, I can trust that." he looked towards the portal and braced himself just in case something happened, but went for it anyway. The portal appeared on the other side outside the steps behind the current group there and for a moment, no one seemed to go through for a bit until Take had stepped through. He blinked a bit because it got brighter compared to where they were and when his eyes settled he was looking up towards a castle with tree covered mountains. Mountains. There was a feeling of comfort he felt just being in the presence of cold mountain air as he stared a bit at the pink sky. But not too long, because he could see a group below his immediate field of vision and he looked down to see the group. Mostly of unfamiliar faces, though he recognized at least two of them, Atmos and Torrin. He was holding his broken hand close to him mostly out of fear it might knock into something but upon seeing the group he spoke up, "Oh, hello. Everyone else should be just behind me..." he looked over and saw an older blonde in the arms of a boy with white hair, and next to him a blond male in armor. And they looked like they had a more immediate focus and he said with a bit of worry, "If I interrupted someone gaining immediate medical treatment I apologize. But I wouldn't pause on our account." Nini had followed him in and upon getting a familiar scent, the little cat scurried it's way through the crowd and ran up towards Adalric and digging it's claws lightly into his leg, like the little cat was trying to climb up to the girl in his arms.
"Ya know, Master Choma. I really truly appreciate the gesture. But do you think maybe we could have waited until after we left this world to teach that move?" Take gestured to his hand a bit sluggishly and said, "Unless you enjoy adding insult to injury, in which case... who hurt you?" "Better to learn it now and be ready to use it later than wait for something else to rear its ugly head before I get another chance to teach you." Take raised an eyebrow and asked, "So what you're saying is... you could have taught us sooner but things reared their ugly head?" "Yes. There wasn't time sooner." Take opened his mouth to respond, but he just kind of gave up looking a bit upset before he stood himself up. He felt very sleepy, in kind of the numb healing sort of way, which was better than the exhausted overworked sort of way. He walked his way over towards Silver and Jim and looked up towards them, "Well, that was... fun. A little bumpy, a lot more hits to head than I would have liked, but still fun. We've all gotta head off now though, our weapons call us somewhere else. Still... I'm gonna miss you two. Thanks for the help, I wish you the best... good luck with court though, Captain." he spoke slightly mockingly as he eyed Silver, though it was obvious it was meant more as a jest than anything else.

Mora smiled a little at everyone's willingness to help. The two cures seemed a bit unnecessary to her, but it did help with her head though. She couldn't say the same for her side though. The darkness slowly disappeared but when Mora lifted up her shirt slightly, a fresh wound that looked like it'd permanently scar her was there. She covered it up and looked at bit at her keyblade confused, she had no idea exactly how it worked, or how she managed to do anything she just did but it was seemingly effective. She took a deep breath in and turned around to keep watch, combat ready pretty much the whole time. Soon, the blockage was cleared and the cavern itself remained mostly intact. Well, at least as intact as the first time everyone saw it. There were a few more rocks on the ground but otherwise it was cleared. The pices of the machine may have been blown to bits, but with enough time to look at them, it was clear many parts could be salvaged and placed back together. There was a piece far to the corner that seemed to emanate a soft light. Mora walked towards it and asked, "Is that one of the parts? Should I pick it up?"
Lemme takehiko stone and upgrade it
Take was surprised and a bit overwhelmed by all the sudden help he got. Glyde had thrown in a second cure to help but it really didn't do much to help with the breaking and just made the other wounds far less noticeable. Aria trying to help him out was appreciated and he hoped she'd start taking care of her own wounds once he'd sat down, but she was trying to make a makeshift splint up until the point Choma stopped her. But before that even happened, Illiana had handed him over a tea. He really wasn't expecting tea to help very quickly, but he did accept it and tried to sip it until Choma basically pulled the all stop on all of that and began working on helping out Take's hand himself. Take could deal with the pain if it meant it was going to help him heal faster, so for most of the process, Take's eyes were closed to try and keep himself calm externally until all the work was finally done. The boy appreciated it but he didn't like how inconvenient this was going to be. He took a deep breath and went to grab and sip at the rest of Illiana's tea. He made a face because it smelled bad but he did quickly drink it down before managing out, "Th-thank you guys..." he grabbed his newly compressed hand and repeated, "Thank you so much."
When Aria had gotten her grip on the cannon and managed to pull it up on her own at that point, Take quickly rushed himself to get out from under it and felt the pain shoot up his arm once more. He grabbed at his arm and held it too his chest and breathed in sharply and asked, "Thank you... D-Did everyone make it out?" he went to stand himself up carefully, centering his weight so he wouldn't fall over as he stood up. He wouldn't admit he was holding back tears at this point, but he looked down at his arm and tried to will his hand to move. Nothing was happening. It didn't look like his hand exactly took the cannon well either, and on his good hand of all things. He pulled his keyblade out to heal himself, but all he managed was to heal some of his cuts and scrapes. His arm wasn't coming back that easily. There was a sudden moment of rage that overcame the boy over the scenario, he should have been able to have prevented this, he was basically created to take a hit, and he couldn't even do that properly. Take threw his keyblade at the ground, fortunately for the floor the keyblade disappeared into light before it had the chance to do damage. Take balled up his right hand into a fist, visibly upset but trying to hide it. Though the keyblade throwing might have already ruined that pretense.
The takeoff to get out of there went about as well as the boy was expecting it to go, and he had his keyblade at the ready in case any heartless decided to become stowaways in their escape. But with all the debris falling and world falling apart, it became clear it would probably be better to focus on the safety of everyone else. When Silver jumped on top of Jim as it got worse, Take was ready to shield his head when he watched a large piece falling straight for Illiana, and since other pieces were falling and it wasn't in her field of view, he was worried she wasn't going to react in time. The boy quickly ran over shouting, "Illiana, look out!" but he realized his shouting was probably more of a distraction so he took a bit of a risk and pushed Illiana out of the way forwards and onto the ground. When the debris looked like it was clearing, the boy tried to stand up to stabilize himself, but for his trouble, Takehiko was blasted back and disoriented when he hit the wall. It took seconds for the cannon to end up falling and rolling quickly onto Take's hand. The boy let out a pained yell as he used all his strength to keep the cannon from rolling any further onto him, while also in the midst of feeling excruciating pain. Then the group made out of the core. For a brief moment, everything felt still, until the shockwave came and pushed the cannon further in to about Take's wrist and another piece fell onto his chest, pinning the boy down. He was worried for his life he was going to get crushed. But once the ship stilled again, he gasped out a bit and pushed the stuff off of his chest with his free arm and tried to push the cannon off. His arm felt a pain he had never felt before in his life but he had a pretty good feeling his hand and wrist were broken. Cause he couldn't feel his hand at all. The only pain was in his arm above that part. But he couldn't push it off. He felt slightly panicked and tried to push it off and wasn't succeeding at it and finally managed out pained, "S-Someone help me!"
Kaida cringed when she saw AJ get knocked out and mumbled, "Sorry...!" and she took a breath, thinking of what to do, but she backed up a bit and raised hey keyblade up to assist this time instead of doing damage, "Heal!" Kaida healed AJ
Spoiler: Episode Takehiko Part 3 A Matter of Time Atmos had not shown up to give the lesson for the day. She had not been seen in the halls of the castle nor on the castle grounds but, at the same time, she had made no announcement that she would be leaving for business. That day, she remained in her room, her door locked, and speaking to no one. Takehiko had been coming out of his shell a little bit more as the training progressed, it hadn't exactly been too long, but it still was leaving an impression on him. Or perhaps it was just being out of his homeworld environment that was allowing him to flourish. He truly couldn't tell. But he had been waiting excitedly and somewhat impatiently for the next part of his training, curious what possible thing he could learn today. But Atmos' seeming disappearance was odd to her, and he didn't remember the lesson being dismissed for the day or anything. So after waiting about an hour after the time declared, Take made his way over to Atmos' room and knocked on the door, "Master, are you in there?" he was at least hoping she was... well, okay. Her room was nearly pitch black with the curtains covering the windows and the sole source of light in the room was a lone candle hovering in place in front of Atmos. When she heard the knock come at her door and her student speak she realized that she was late. She rose up, feeling that her knees were sore from having knelt down for so long, and went to the curtains to let in the sunlight. Her eyes stung. Atmos snapped her fingers and caused a small gust of wind that blew out the candle and flew it over to lay on her drawer. She opened the door to greet Take. Directly behind her was a small portrait of a young blonde woman Take had never seen before clearly in view standing on the floor. It had never been displayed in her room before. "Apologies. I had not realized what time it was. I was..." Her eyes were red and her cheeks were puffy as if she had just finished crying. "I was distracted." She spoke quietly. Takehiko was silent as he recognized the aftereffects of tears still on her face. The boy was more concerned about that, but his eyes did shift as he saw the picture of the girl. He stared at it longer than he probably should have, indicating something was amiss before Take looked back at Atmos and said, "It's alright... but are you alright?" his face showed clear concern as he added, "Cause... you... don't look alright. I just said alright a lot I'm sorry." Atmos tilted her head, noticing that Take had noticed something in her room and used the opportunity to turn around. She sighed quietly and knelt down to retrieve the portrait before moving to place it inside her drawer where the candle was still smoking. "It's been two years to the day." She looked over at Take, a small smile on her face. "You would have liked her, I think. My sister. She was blunt, confident, hot-headed, but she always had the loudest laugh of my sisters. I hated it. She sounded like a hyena." She chuckled and shook her head. It took a bit for the boy to realize the context, but one he did, he felt a pain in his chest and probably a lot more empathy. Take thought about the laugh comment and thought more about his relationship with his brothers. Iwao messing up his hair when he was little telling him that his laugh was stupid but it just made him laugh more. He knew he didn't laugh anymore, he didn't like the sound of his own laugh. He almost feared it. He walked a little further into the room only cause a distance had been created when she picked up the portrait. Take leaned a little against the wall and finally spoke up, sounding a bit nervous to ask about it, "What's her name?" Atmos picked up the smoking candle and eyed it for a long moment as she remained silent. When the last wisp of smoke faded away she finally placed it back down and took in a deep breath. "Her name was-" Before she could answer the question there was a powerful gust of wind that caused dust and pebbles to pelt her window. Atmos raised her eyebrow and turned her head to look outside. She walked over towards the window and blinked. "Strange...the breeze here never gets that violent. There might be a storm coming. Take, tell Chrono that today's lesson is cancel-" Atmos froze in place, staring off into the distance. The wind that had picked up had ceased and the trees remained still. It was dead quiet. Atmos did not move a muscle nor did she blink. Any signs that she was breathing were gone. "Takehiko, I must speak with you. Please meet me at the courtyard." The soft unfamiliar voice belonging to a man rang out through the hallways of the castle as if it echoed from everywhere with no clear source. Takehiko heard Atmos cut off and freeze in place, and he walked closer and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Are you alright?" then the voice rang out and Take dropped his hand and faced over towards the door. He then looked back towards Atmos and realized that everything was quiet. Everything had stopped. Take's face changed to hide his nerves a bit. Then he, reluctantly, began making his way towards the courtyard. Take had run the whole way, making it there without having lost any breath over the run as Take immediately started looking around asking, "Hello?!" "Hello there." A silver-haired man approached Takehiko from behind, his armor glistening in the sunlight. "Do not panic. I am not here to hurt anyone. My name is Stamatis. It is good to finally see you face to face after all this time, Takehiko. Are you doing well?" The man asked simply, clasping his hands together in front of him, his posture straight and still. He smiled at the boy. "I know you must be wondering what I did to Master Atmos. She will be fine. I merely froze time to give us some peace and quiet so that we may talk for a while." Take looked a little on edge at the man, well, knowing his name and he still backed away slightly even though the man tried to reassure him not to panic. He wasn't panicking but the boy was far from trusting. He tried to relax slightly before he responded, "I'm... doing fine..." he stepped another step back as he asked, "How.. do you know my name?" Stamatis smiled at the boy and nodded, pleased with his answer. "We have never met." He tilted his head observing Take. "I was a student of the one who allowed you to wield the keyblade. Master Atmos is a capable woman. From the looks of it, we were right to choose her to train you." Stamatis turned to look off towards the trees and the dirt path leading away from the castle. "Have you used your spare time to take a walk and enjoy the nature of this world? It truly is quite lovely. Not as forested as mine was but beautiful nonetheless." He spoke calmly, his attention still focused on the trees that were frozen in time as leaves were blown in the gentle breeze and stopped in midair. Stamatis plucked a leaf from the air and looked at it curiously. "Finding time to unwind and meditate is just as important as any physical training." Takehiko was surprised by the man's reply, his eyes widening a bit when he mentioned that he was trained by, well, the man who had given Take the keyblade. Listening to the man talk made Take feel very out of a loop of some kind and for a moment, he didn't like that, he didn't like not knowing what was going on. But it didn't take very long for a part of Take to remind himself it wasn't his place to know. But he didn't necessarily trust this man, he didn't give him that. When the man asked about unwinding and meditating, Take simply stated, "It's not what I'm here for. The part of my life where I can waste my time doing something so pointless has passed. I don't understand how my master can wake up late in the day, let alone spending time to meditate. I can't stand still for five minutes without feeling like my time is being wasted." Take paused a bit and said, "We may be frozen in time right now, but that doesn't last." Take was speaking like he was someone nearing the end of his life, not nearing the beginning. It was like the boy was mentally prepared to die at any moment, and the question seemed to make him tense up even more. Stamatis chuckled and twirled he leaf he had plucked in his fingers. "Ah yes. To be young and so eager to move at lightning speed." He released the leaf into the air where it froze in place once more. "Takehiko, you have time. You have so much more time than you realize. Meditation is not just about taking time to relax, it is about reflection. If you cannot see within yourself to find who you truly are, all other lessons are wasted on you. From what I know of your training here, that is one of the many lessons Master Atmos is trying to impart on you." Take stared at the man after what he said and slowly moved to rub a spot on his own wrist as he said, "I already know who I truly am... I don't want to be that." the boy looked away and said, "It just makes things worse. I don't want to reflect on that...?" there had been a hint of certainty to what he was saying before, but in the end it fell apart as he made his last statement a question. Takehiko stopped rubbing the spot on his wrist and crossed his arms and finally just asked, "What do you want from me?" "There's a more important question that you must ask yourself, Takehiko. One that every wielder must ask themselves. Some never truly know the answer but it is important that you at least ask yourself this." Stamatis's keyblade appeared in his hand. "What do you want from yourself?" His keyblade began to glow and every so slowly the leaves began to inch their way to the ground as time began to restart. "Take care of yourself, Takehiko. You are in good hands with Master Atmos. It has been good to see you. Perhaps next time we speak there will be more important matters to discuss. But until then," Stamatis snapped his fingers and with that he vanished and time resumed its normal flow. In the distance from within the castle, Atmos called Take's name... Takehiko was a bit... confused to say the least at Stamatis' response and question... he was even more confused if the entire trip for this guy was to run over and just... small talk with him. Which on it's own would have been weird but would have been better if the conversation had a more solid conclusion. He reached out for a leaf when Stamatis was gone and held it, before he heard Atmos call his name and he turned back towards the castle. He realized that, if time froze, it all but looked like Takehiko had just vanished into thin air. Take let the leaf go and began to run back towards Atmos' room. Take couldn't even breathe in the satisfaction of this victory, though he definitely wished he could since this one felt so worth it. But with only two minutes or so before the planet exploded. The boy let out a deep breath and mumbled, "Of course this is ending in an explosion." Take stopped a moment and looked back at where Scroop had been and he picked up a single coin, flicked it in the air a moment before placing it in his pocket. Just so he could savor the moment later with a bit of a souvenir, then he turned around and mumbled, "Well, we better run then..." and he ran on towards the ship

When Scar changed into lightning and knocked out Simba. Kaida cringed and said, "Oh no I hope I didn't just make things worse..." she tried to think of what to do, but it wasn't like she had anything Earth related. So Kaida just swung her keyblade for a second and charged on in and just did her standard default action. Go combos! Kaida used a combo or something, swelly... on one knee.
Hoping a little that someone else had a thunder ability on them and took advantage of the showers, Kaida charged on into Scar (since she felt no need to assist yet) and with an electrical surge she struck him, hoping for the best. Kaida used Powerline
The hit itself was hard enough, but after experiencing the gift of flight for 30 feet, Take didn't take the ground very well. The gold knocked up and nearly covered the boy and he began to feel faint, everything slowly turning black for a moment. Then he felt a warm sensation as he was healed and brought to his feet. A bit disoriented, he was surprised to see Silver stepping up. But once the cyborg ran ahead, Take couldn't help but smirk a bit at that, then the boy closed his eyes and used his keyblade to d-link. He felt a sudden connection with Atmos, even if she wasn't there, he felt himself surge with a bit more power and the boy lifted his keyblade to cure himself, then repeated that just the same and he took a deep breath and charged on back in once more, this time with even more force behind his swing and following it up with blitz and a couple more attacks. Then the boy leaned back into a defensive position to provoke him again. HP: 25 AP: 10 MP: 0
