Your logic is flawless ... in my opinion anyway. There's always going to be something that people use to bash something. To be honest though, I really didn't like the original voice though to be honest. I prefer the way Derpy sounds when voiced by the aforementioned voice actress.

Well maybe one day we can see Derpy make a return ... well 'Ditzy' I suppose. Then I'll just watch the episode, stop and find a dubbed version on youtube for the derpy scene, and then continue with said episode.

*sigh* ... the life of a brony.

The thing is that it was mostly parents of children who are mentally challenged. They thought it was harmfully directed at their children, for some reason. Hasbro freaked out, made a recall, changed the episode and ... Derpy was no more. Basically all those parents were saying though was "That character is making a mockery of my child and shouldn't be shown on TV." When in reality, Derpy had nothing to do with being mentally handicapped. She was 'ditsy' but I don't believe she was mentally challenged. Just because you've got 'derpy' eyes and act goofy doesn't mean you have to be mentally challenged, right?

Oh well, Derpy lives on in the hearts of all the true fans. Btw, best Derpy voice actress www.youtube.com/balddumborat

You're confusing the correct way to use the word 'like' and the modern slang version in which you casually place it just about anywhere in your sentence for no reason at all. I suppose it was my fault for not using appropriate grammar for the term. Perhaps I should rephrase ... I'm, like, a tech genius!!!

No, I am. I took two years at a vocational school for IT and am currently enrolled in university working for my Computer Information Systems degree (bachelors anyway). I prefer coding but I do know quite a bit about maintenance. If there's one thing I learned it's that computers don't come with a cup-holder ... trust me, it's really not a cup-holder.

Srsly tho, ahm like a totes mad genus wen it comes to puters and junk.

Probably for the best. Just if you ever come across a video of Button singing the Fresh Prince theme song stop it and close your browser immediately. I didn't have someone to warn me about it ... though it was still pretty funny.

Have you seen the 'Fresh Prince' button animation. If you haven't don't look it up unless you want your view of the 'innocent' Button to be crushed. If you have ... I couldn't stop laughing after watching it. So ... unexpected. lol

From dubstep remixes, original animations, and PMV's to artwork and fanfics. What type of fanwork for the show interests you?

I personally like dubstep remixes of the songs. I love that look people get when I blast Helping Twilight Win The Crown going down the road. I like the music and with the wubs of the dubs it becomes 20% cooler.

I do like fanfics though as they can sometimes be darker than the show would allow. You can read, or see depending on how good your imagination is (lol), things that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Original animations, in my opinion, show just how far the fandom has come. Given some are quite disturbing *cough* shed.mov *cough* though the ones like Double Rainboom and Snowdrop turn out to be quite fantastic.

PMV's are okay but the only one's I really like have original animation or the ones where the lip-syncing is almost perfectly spot on.

    Go get some tacos?

There's a lot more anime out there that's a lot better than SAO. I don't really get all the hype over the show in the first place, I didn't think it was all that great personally. Maybe try looking up any anime that's been made/released within the last couple years. I'm sure you'll find something comparable, if not better.

I don't care. I'm like a tech genius so that crap doesn't bother me. If the option to opt out is there then okay, if not (I normally don't download but if I do) I just remove it afterwards. Though I do get frustrated when I have to clean out computers of people who just download all of it all the time. Not to mention the virus' that come from a lot of these 'extra' downloads. Meh, if I ever start a computer shop I suppose it'll be good for business so I say keep 'em coming.

You know you should really have created a thread of appreciation for the ones who actually deserve it. You know like the moderators and the global mods and the reporters and the coders and the admins. Seriously, the nerve of some people. I can't believe you'd appreciate a staff before the people who keep this place running. What good is a staff other than walking? A staff has never done anything for this site.

Did you get that package? The one with the colors? No?

Everyone is grumpy cause they didn't get those skittles I sent them. I also sent out cookies, ice cream, and cake.

Haven't really been around much to notice any grumps. Am I grumpy? Have I been grumpy? How long have I been grumpy? I don't want to be grumpy! It's all KHV's fault!! I was a normal member of society with a cheery attitude until I came to this damnable place!!! WHHHHHYYYyyyyyyyy!!!!

Don't be grumpy, be dramatic. Being dramatic is so much better.

    So...Korra

That's pretty much what made the original series was Aang having to learn all the elements to save the world. Given Korra found out she was the avatar from an early age and had plenty of time to master the elements, it's still kind of a bag on the original. Really, so far the only thing I've seen the show to be about is basically your average everyday drama with bending thrown into the mix. They basically appear to just be throwing story arcs out there to see what hits. I don't think there really is a common theme, lest you can point one out for me.

Actually I've seen guys crying plenty of times though it's usually a female's shoulder that they're leaning on. You're right, it is a stereotyped perceived by the common people as to mean that one is in fact homosexual. This of course is completely untrue. My friend had a scare awhile back with his dad, he thought he was dying. He broke down and started crying on the drive to the hospital. I road with him like a good friend would and being socially awkward as I am I chose to just remain silent. His girlfriend was there to comfort him though.

Crying is supposed to be a sign of weakness or femininity. It takes a big man to hold back tears but when the dam breaks that doesn't make you any less of a man.

Personally I'm not really in touch with my feelings or whatever. I cry when I see something sad happen on TV but real life doesn't really effect me. I'm disconnected from my emotions towards the physical world and, sad as it may be, it takes something like seeing a fanfic where Pinkie Pie dies to make me cry (it's a reference so shut it). I see no reason why any man should have to hold back their tears lest their in front of their family and have to stay strong. For instance a father who's mother just passed away and won't cry in front of his kids as it would only upset them but then once alone or with his wife lets the dam break.

It's not healthy to hold back emotions. It wears and tears away at your psyche. Everyone needs a good cry every now and then.

I believe the "@" feature in the new version of XenForo may be a possible solution to the matter. I'll tinker with things on my site later to see if there is a way to change the quote feature to do what it is you're asking. If I can achieve this with a simple code change (highly unlikely) I'll post it on XenForo and edit this post with a link to it at that time (that is if you guys want to use it).

Seeing as the site will be updating soon anyway, might see about requesting this on XenForo and seeing if they can work it into an update.
