Must have missed that thread but I'd be interested in doing the RP thing. Sounds like a fun idea.

50 years after the surprise shutdown of KHV ... *dramatic actiony music* ... things ... are about to get ... reunited!
Every KHV member receives an email saying that KHV is back online.

Well it doesn't sound so actiony like that (actiony is canon now) but if you flare it out a little bit ...

A long time ago there was a place filled with enchantment and wonder, trolls and haters, mods and admins. This was a place for all to go and come together as a community to enjoy common interests. One day, however, that place was shut .... down. Distraught the users tried connecting again by use of other social media such as PeepPage and Tilter sadly all those places died eventually and the connections ... were lost. Fifty years later a strange email is sent out to all of the members of that once wonderful place saying only this, "KHV lives ..." Without hesitation the members quickly typed in the strangely familiar address but what they were expecting was far different than what they got ...

A sudden bright light was cast out of the screen blinding the members who accessed the site. Upon opening their eyes once more they realized they were no longer at their desk, or on their cellphones, tablets, or iplay's. They were in a strange new world. Blue skies, green grassy fields. They noticed something else ... they were younger. Roughly the age they were when KHV had been shut down. Looking around they started to notice a bright light off in the distance. They make their way to the light in search of answers ... there's no telling exactly what they'll be getting though. As a strange shadow lurks in the distance, watching the members from afar, what can be expected of this strange new world?

Now that's how you tell a story!

The following video is pretty funny but covers a lot of the things I see wrong with the movie. I still liked the movie, don't get me wrong but it was ... pretty flawed. I like the songs though ^^

Actually, the seeds didn't sprout because of the magic retained in the tree of harmony. It was mentioned at the last bit of the second episode. It took those thousand +1 years (not sure how much time passed between the battle with discord and Nightmare Moons banishment is so I'm going off of that) for the tree to lose its magic, which is why the elements had to be returned.

True, EG was just ... too fast paced. Left a lot unexplained. The final battle scene was over in the blink of an eye. MMC was like that too but I thought it made up for it by making Twilight a princess pony and letting us hear Celestia sing ... even if it was short.

Oohps, my bad. It was season 2 that she wrote the finale for. "A Canterlot Wedding" was actually what I was referring to.

EDIT: That little mistake has been fixed in my original post.

Why on earth would I want to go watch this in theaters ... around other people ... noisy, loud, smelly, rude people. I stayed at home and enjoyed the 50th special in all its glory.

Okay so I basically loved everything about the special. I loved Clara most of all. I love how she interrupted The Doctor's brilliant moment with the door ... it was unlocked, lol. I love that we got to see 8, 10, and 11 working together. Would've been nice to see 9 in there too but, meh. There's one thing that stood out when they were saving Gallifrey, it was said that all twelve were there helping ... but immediately corrected by saying that the thirteen were there. My heart sort of sunk, just a bit when I heard thirteen mentioned.

Short review thing is really short. Welp, see ya'll here again next year when the next season premieres. Just kidding, I'll see ya'll here around Christmas.

Oh dear gawd, season 4 premiere is best premiere.

Do not read the following spoiler if you have not seen the premiere ... just don't do it man!!!

So the writer packed more into two episodes than in the last three seasons combined. More action, more plot progression, more awesome!! I didn't think it were possible but here I am, loving the show even more. The new style of animation is simply an upgrade of its predecessor. It looks more clean and is definitely an improvement. I love Hasbro for giving us the two part premiere because people would have died if they left us with that cliffhanger (just joking, hopefully).

Okay so thoughts on the two-part episode ... they're not going to be in chronological order.

    1. I was giving discord the benefit of the doubt the entire time. Then again I suppose it was something he did all that time ago. We can see that he is reformed at the end of Princess Twilight Sparkle: Part 2. With the elements returned to the tree he could have did his whole chaos thing again. I guess it's a good thing Fluttershy has 'The Stare'.

    2. It definitely didn't feel rushed (like Equestria Girls). The writers had a decent amount of time to fit in everything that needed to be. They even gave us details that touched on matters from the previous seasons. What really happened between Celestia and Luna. What really happened with Discord. Where the elements really came from. This was just such an amazing premiere. It left no holes to be filled ... except for the box.

    3. The box. The thing that is, I'm sure, keeping most of us guessing. What's in the box? What does it mean? Where are the keys? Basically we're looking at the plot for season 4. While continuing with the regular character episodes, these key episodes (see what I did there) are going to be scattered about the season. It might even carry over into the next ... though with 26 24 episodes to get them in I doubt it'll be a two season plot device. I can only imagine that each character is going to have their own key (as there are six keys). I'll definitely be following this season and looking forward to seeing what's in this magical mystery box (I did it again).

    4. No songs. Wait ... no songs? How could there ... why? Well they weren't really needed. It was more intense and action packed than the prior seasons. They didn't have time to fit in a song, even though discord really wanted to hear one. Now a lot of you out there might be thinking that it isn't FiM without a song in the premiere ... well you're wrong. There's so much going on in this two part episode I almost didn't catch that there wasn't a song. Don't worry though, we'll be hearing/seeing "Apple's To The Core" later on in the season, so just hold your hors- *ehem* ponies ...

    5. For those avid viewers, that means you bronies, you'll notice a slight change in animation. It's not a big enough change to incite panic and chaos, discord wasn't behind this one, but it is distinctly noticeable to just about any brony. My thoughts on the change? I like it. The animation looks better, the movement more fluid, the shading more precise. It definitely improves on it's predecessor by far. I look forward to seeing the new style of animation throughout the season.

    6. Meghan wrote the two part premiere. Wait, Meghan as in Meghan McCarthy? Eeeyup. Meghan McCarthy is the brilliance behind season 4's premiere. If you ask me, she should write more of the episodes and not just the premieres. She has already been noted for writing season 2's finale and the premiere of season 3, which were both fantastic. Well, hopefully the other writers can keep up with her pace. Could you imagine a whole season written by Meghan? That'd be totally awesome!

    7. Princess Twilight. This is canon now and it will not be going away anytime soon. So for those of you out there who thought this was a terrible mistake of the writers, well get used to it. It's here, it's awesome, it's an alicorn. I myself called Twilight's transformation into an alicorn about midway through MMC. I called it and I'm fine with it. The only thing that's going to change is we're more than likely going to see a few more Canterlot episodes, "Whip-dee-do, Basil." For all the things I've seen on this issue it left me thinking ... wow, really? Bronies are open and accepting, just don't mess around with their ponies ...

So, my lovely and chaotic review of the Season 4 premiere. Like it, hate it, read it and weep. Hope everypony liked the premiere as much as, or even more than I did.

I plan on getting a shoe rack and some slippers so I can be a total weeaboo.

I don't know. It depends on the situation. I normally don't wear shoes in my home while I'm just lazing about. I wear shoes when I go to someone else's house. I've only had a few people who've had me take my shoes off at the door. I also take my shoes off if they're muddy when I'm going into someone else's house. Americans have stinky feet so we like to keep them covered, lol jk?

Really it's a double standard. Any decent father is going to be upset if his boy was involved in sexual acts with one of his teachers, while at the same time he is going to be secretly thinking that his boy is a "player" given the ages of the two aforementioned boys. Having said that, if his girl were to partake in sexual acts with a teacher, or anyone for that matter, the dad's going to be extremely upset and possibly homicidal.

I don't really care, so long as it's above the age of consent. If it was my boy I wouldn't have pressed charges. I wouldn't have even brought it up. I'd just see about having his classes changed so she wasn't teaching him anymore to prevent favoritism and potential slacking off in the educational department. I'd be more upset if it was my daughter, but I'd more than likely just have him fired if she was over the age of consent. Hopefully my kids wouldn't still be living with me at the age of 18/19. I'd like for them to be out of the house so I can enjoy my free time.

All statements are my sole opinions. I'm a tad bit weird so I view things differently than most people. I feel like if you are old enough to get the buck out of my house, you're old enough to make your own decisions. All statements were based on the assumption that the whole ordeal was consensual between both parties.

I don't know if I'd go as far to call it the ADD generation, though I would call it the lazy generation. Most of the people in this generation want something without having to put forth the effort. I can't exactly give you the 'up hill both ways' speech but I can say anything worth something to you should be worth the wait and the effort. The next generation is going to be worse. Kids these days already have cell phones, which is understandable for certain situations but there should be a limiter in place. iPads, Tablets, PCs, and all the other electronics are making it easier to obtain information and entertainment than prior generations (as you've stated). This is both a blessing and a curse. I myself like being able to google things when I find myself questioning something. It's a lot easier than having to hit the library to find out how chocolate pudding is made, as an example. Though that takes away the effort that should be there if you really want to know something.

Video games add to the problem as well. I'm not one to say that video games are the cause for all the recent problems, because they aren't, but I am one to say that letting your kids sit inside all day doing nothing but exercising their fingers is ridiculous. Children are meant to go outside and play, not sit inside all day.

I digress. I think that there are some things we need to change to ensure that kids aren't getting all this instant gratification. We might even be able to reverse the effects brought out by the technology boom.

Sidenote: ADD might not seem serious to a lot of people but it is an actual thing. It causes a lot of children problems in school, even the ones who truly want to be able to focus. I just wanted to note that and point out that using it as a general term for a generation is kind of degrading to those who actually suffer from it. There's a difference between being lazy and having ADD.

Not really. It was just generally a thread about the two opposing sides, Derpy vs Ditzy. That includes appearance, title, personality, and vocal attributes ... or that's what I'm going with anyway. Besides, it's a meaningful conversation ... sort of. So it's not really spam. Plus I don't think anyone else watches this place anymore *pouts*. Where's all the bronies at?

I just felt like the voice didn't suit her bubbly personality (pun intended). I think the sweet and innocent voice sounds more appropriate. That's the good thing about having opinions though, the differ. The original voice was alright I just didn't think it fit the character. Like Tara Strong fits perfectly with Twilight Sparkle. I couldn't see anyone but Ashleigh Ball do the voice for Rainbow Dash, Applejack, or Blythe Baxter (I series jumped). The voice just didn't feel right.

Nice guys finish last. Kindness doesn't pay. This is the code I live by ... every ... single ... day.

I try to be the nice guy a lot but it doesn't turn out well. Just makes me more narcissistic than I already am. That amplifies my cynicism and inevitably leads me to being the pessimist that I am.
