It appears as though you have way too many programs up and running at the same time. For your amount of memory that is a major issue. Any time you have a computer trying to allocate a fair share of a small pie to a large group of programs, chaos ensues. Try getting rid of some of the programs that aren't necessary until you're able to increase your computers memory. I'd have to hazard that as a first guess. More than likely the problem isn't constant as it's based on what you do and do not have open and running at the time.

Well if no reports have been made about issues with AVG 2014 or the most recent Skype update then it could be anything from a virus to a random system failure. Sometimes computers crash or files become corrupted. That's what it's sounding like to me. Download and install all updates and let me know if the issue persists within the next few days.

What about software? Did you change any settings or install a new program? Get rid of an old one? Anything that you might have done prior to this happening?

Sounds like it might be a problem with your hardware then. You said you built the computer yourself / changed parts. It could also be a conflict with a software. Did this start after doing anything memorable like installing something?

Hmm ... I've never had this issue with Windows 7 gadgets before. (I'll not talk about my Vista experiences.) Perhaps your computer needs to be cleaned out or maybe it's an issue with the hardware. It could be a variety of things. I did a little digging in Google and came across this. It could be a possible solution. Without being able to physically look at your computer I'd pretty much be useless. Hopefully the fix mentioned there helps out. Before using the fix make a backup/restore just in case. It looks as though they were planning on implementing it in an update anyway. Do you have any updates pending?

Sorry, yes it's still an issue. I haven't used the macro on my site, yet, so I don't know where the problem would be. I'm guessing it'd be in whichever relates to the dropdown background/text, because I know they never make it so simple as to label them (programmers ... ugh). I'm using Google Chrome and don't know if it's an issue on other browsers or not.

Yeah, I almost never pick up Director's Cuts. I actually believe I've never owned a Director's Cut. Meh. I can kind of understand your gif about Beyond Two Souls ... not what I expected. The storyline is somewhat decent ... or would be if it wasn't for the Haruhi Suzumiya kind of order >.> It's one of those "when I have nothing better to do" games. So at least I'll always have something to do ... I guess.

When I'm around my friends I don't really care. They know I'm crazy and all the antics that come with it. Strangers might as well be the Eye of Sauron from a social standpoint. Pretty much I just try to be myself the most I can and whoever doesn't like it can deal with it. Life's too short to be worrying about how other people think of you. I still have one of my friends on the fence about whether or not I have a broom named Tiffany in my closet ... he's really that unsure >.> Anyway, that's just me though I can understand where some people come from. I'm pretty well detached from most social norms because of who I am -past experiences and all that blah- so it's easy for me to be myself without thinking too much about it. I've never really been one to not be me in front of my friends. I can't do that with strangers because of the extreme anti-socialism but hey, what can you do?

That about sums up all of my crazy ... the best I could anyway.

At the end of the day it's just a job. Whether you're kissing another dude/chick or you're trying to kill the boy who lived you do it because it's a part of the job. It's another obstacle you have to overcome to get that paycheck every week. Just like a plumber has to deal with clogged drains or an IT has to deal with perverts *cough* it's just another part of the job.

To be honest I couldn't really say whether the actors who portray homosexuals in the movies are actually straight; likewise I couldn't say if the actors who portray straight individuals are homosexual in real life. I don't reed enough tabloids to keep up with that stuff.
