This is that part in the movie where the guy, while feeling accomplished, is suddenly crushed as he watches everything get washed away. I don't think anyone is that mean (well laziness might play a factor) to actually go back and unlike posts. Could you just imagine coming back to a like counter of 0. That would be just like the worst thing imaginable ... next to you know ... the end of the world or something. Seriously though, congrats on the achievement. Only five hundred and thirty-four more posts and that pink name will surely be yours ^^ -Shiranui
It's been mentioned but I'll restate. Update is a few steps below upgrade and in ways is actually better than an upgrade. It changes things within the software already present. Upgrade completely overwrites the old and replaces with the new. While this sounds good in theory, in practice it is a whole different matter. Upgrades, especially early versions, have bugs. Updates help to fix those bugs. For instance in XenForo 1.2.x, the higher the value of 'x' the less bugs are going to be found and the better the quality. XenForo 1.2.0 was an upgrade. It was riddled with bugs and glitches that are found by the users and reported so that updates, like 1.2.1-4, can take place. Update and upgrade are two different things but they go hand in hand with each other. You need the upgrade to allow updates to do their jobs. Upgrades often come with the most noticeable changes while updates are often the lesser seen fixes/patches. -Shiranui
To be honest I prefer the notable members page. Not to be rude but I don't really care to scroll through a bunch of regs to find the active members. There are quite a few accounts that aren't even active (have seen activity). Notable members makes the people to know easier to find. -Shiranui
Two words: Ramen Noodles. While going out to eat is fast and often times delicious your pocket and your body would much prefer you buying something from the grocery and cooking it at home. Any pre-processed food is going to be a health hazard. I'm no nutritionist, I like to eat out myself, but I can buy chicken dinner at the grocery a lot cheaper than at KFC and it's healthier. js -Shiranui
If I have to drive back around for you to correct my order one more time I'm driving my car through your window!!! Seriously though, I hate that type of pavement. My school has that same kind. It squeels in the summertime when you turn to sharply and there is no traction at all. I drifted in the parking lot one time because of the rain. I thought it was fun ^^ -Shiranui
I thought I was walking into a legitimate rant/reference to Final Fantasy. What I actually walked into was a rare anomaly, a pun created by @Amaury ... I think @Llave has something to do with this. Llave, did you break Amaury? -Shiranui
There will eventually come a time when I remove every trace of myself from the internet either for running from a government, crime syndicate, or alien race. I will eventually do this I'm sure. New name, new location. I just have this feeling like my life will be that kind of messed up. -Shiranui
It's all about how you fight. In KH2 the key to an easy win is being relentless. You can't give the enemy a chance to counter or strike. Like fighting Sephiroth. You have to (well be a decent level) but constantly be on him. Even then it's a difficult battle because some attacks you can't stop but not giving him a chance to counter helps a lot. It's a lot different from KH in which you could just run around while you work out a strategy. You have to be on it. You can't just sit around waiting. Good battle. Demyx always gives me trouble because of the time limit portions. -Shiranui
I've been through multiple phases and it seems like each phase had its own little sub-phase. I had that 'I wanna be a game developer' phase. I had the 'I wanna be a cop' phase. I've had the 'camouflage is an excellent style choice' phase. I've been through so many phases it hurt. I'm at that point now where the phases have stopped. I am who I am. I know who I am. Experimentation is over happy with the end result. I think I actually cried one time, well not cried but you know those spontaneous tears from certain thoughts, because I depicted just one event changing in my past that would in turn change who I am today. Not to be all nerdy but it's kind of like the Doctor ... if you change something from my past I wouldn't be the same person. Sure it'd be me but it would be ME. It's been a long time in the making but through trial and error I found who I am. -Shiranui
What the huh? You mean @Twelve hasn't posted here yet >.< The world is ending!! I personally like the show. It depicts Sherlock as the psychopath I personally believe him to be. I know he's referred to as a sociopath in the series but that's questionable. Overall the show is wonderful. Even though there aren't that many episodes per season they are each one hour long. Sadly I haven't got to watch the newer episodes (yet) because I no longer have cable *sniff* In my opinion the movies don't do as much service as this series does, though Robert's portrayal of Sherlock is stupendous. I like the more gray area heroes. The kind of hero who, while being heroic, can do some of the shady stuff you'd expect a villain to do. And this series does Watson a whole lot more justice than the movies. It's a marvelous series and definitely one of my favorites. Anyone else wanting to see a Sherlock and DW crossover? XD -Shiranui
To do a rebuild on a forum this size is going to take time. I'd suggest scheduling some downtime/maintenance to perform the operation. It shouldn't mess with things too much but it can cause lag time, double posting, etc on the site. I'm sure you already know this @Misty just thought I'd throw that out there ^^ -Shiranui
Where I live, being able to whistle is like a life line. It also serves as communication (being in a small town). I can whistle extremely loud and if I set up a system could actually use it like a telephone here. Morse code would probably work ... Anyway, yes I can whistle. I can kind of sing but my singing voice is 'meh' at best ... which is weird because I was in choir for like ever. Oh, and I can snap loud enough to jolt someone out of sleep. -Shiranui
Like many others I'd have to say final form as well. It has all the good parts of the other forms packed into one. I like anti-form but it's just too wild. You can do some damage but that's about it. If you're looking to do special fight actions then anti-form is not the way to go. Anti-form is the reason I never used the infinite drive gauge cheat (gameshark) because of said special actions. Final Form. Final Answer. -Shiranui
And so the sun sets yet again on what most assuredly was a very beautiful day. And though we may not get to see it rise once more, know that the memory will forever live on in our hearts. As the river of time flows on it carries with it a memory. If that memory serves as utensil for inspiration in any way, know that it has lived on. It has created new life in its own demise. That is the true meaning of immortality. If you're a programmer and you didn't catch the reference/purpose behind that paragraph then gtfo. On a serious note, it's both a blessing and a shame that this is happening. I understand it's not cheap to upgrade your systems but XP was getting really outdated. Like Sara said, XP computers are slow and buggy anymore. They were never really all that fast to begin with but in comparison to past operating systems it was extremely better. With windows 7 and even 8 (as many bugs as it might have) we see a progression. The new operating systems were inspired by XP. XP paved the way for responsive graphical user interfaces. For those who don't know, you can still use windows XP after this date. It will no longer receive updates which means more vulnerability / susceptibility to viruses and the like. As long as you have a decent virus protection software on your system you should be okay. I'd imagine that most programs are going to stop supporting XP though. You could always switch to linux which is free. Most XP systems can support modern versions of linux. If you don't want to run the risk of getting a virus and losing support, linux is the way to go. XP had its day in the sun but I think it's officially safe to say that the sun is setting. -Shiranui
It's duck season!!! Show of hands if you get the reference. There's still more than one iconic cartoon duck in my book ;) -Shiranui
I miss broadband. Now I'm stuck with a glitchy dsl box and slow connection speeds. I used to be somebody *cries* but ... it's still better than dial-up I can't complain ... much. It serves its purpose as far as allowing me access to portions of the interwebs. I can't do things as fast but at least I can still do em, right? -Shiranui
If it keeps working then it was more than likely the update. Contrary to vast popular belief, updates can help out quite a bit. What you were experiencing may have been a "bug" and updates are the way to go in fixing these "bugs". Give it a few more days and see. Trial and error are the best ways to go about solving these things. Hopefully all is well and your gadgets don't give you anymore issues. -Shiranui
Oogie was never hard >.> Then again I always built up my levels more than needed. -Shiranui
Get better soon, you know we're all lost without you. If it makes you feel better I can give Plums some "special" chocolate. -Shiranui
Yes depending on where and how spread out your computer decides to allocate memory. Like @Roxam said, close everything else until you finish publishing the video. This way the memory movie maker needs can be allocated without any issues. -Shiranui
