Enjoy having no music theory at all. Just because you only have like 2 genres (Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B I guess) doesn't mean all others are limited like you. That's not rock. I'd put that more into Post-Hardcore than anything else. Plus those guitar players are amazing simply because of their dancing.
