I know but not when you've used it all throughtout your tag. Thats way i make the blacks purpleish because it goes well with blue.

Contrast doesn't bother me because i usually end up altering the color black to be a dark tinge of purple anyway.

Screen, Lighten, Color Dodge or Soft Light. Those are perhaps the only ones i use except for Luminosity and Multilpy when i'm using B&W...
Yesss its basically my life support.
