well... the part "terra's eyes turning yellow probably symbolizes riku being possessd by xehanort. " may be right... but it has defenitly something to do with the blue "Kingdom Hearts" ... the knigts, could be like a guardian of Kingdom Hearts... thir13en: if those "many people" knew about it... then why havent anyone posted about it!?
well rikurep... you could be right.... it could be like another dimension inside the realm of darkness...
maybe, when a warrior dies, and had a keyblade, but also had a weak heart... the keychain dissapear... but if the wielder had a strong heart like sora and company/ ven and company... the keychain, remains, and becomes a "superior weapon"
they could be fakes... who knows?? older models??? maybe... since its quite posible that KHIII is in the past...
