Jonas kept going for the door. "Amazing that doctor Franklin died because of some crazy experiment that could've killed you, or amazing the change?" Jonas asked, not really unsure of the answer but not all to worried either.
"No no, it isn't that." Kain said. "Sin just has a bad case of Aquaphobia, he was fine otherwise. Nothing to do with you, just Sin having a bad fear of water."
Jonas looked confused. "Not me too what?" Then he saw his hand swelling. Jonas sighed. "I'd better get some ice. That burn's messing my hand up." Jonas turned and attempted to leave the room.
Sin was too scared to watch anymore water tricks. "E-excuse me, I have to get going." Sin said, getting up. He called up a pentacle and let a lightning bolt strike it, then it turned white. Sin stabbed the ground with his glove and a lightning bolt hit him and he was gone. Kain watched Sin go, unfazed. "Don't worry, it was just a teleportation spell." Kain said reassuringly.
Jonas flipped his hair out of his eyes. He couldn't believe what he had just seen. Walking into the room, Jonas looked at Jasmine and then at the table. "Well, doctor Franklin, you have just blown my mind! Who would've thought! I'm no scientist, but I'm damn good at figuring out what trick you pulled." Jonas picked up a test tube that was glowing green. He thought he saw some chlorine and iron, but it was just him, as he didn't know what it looked like. Jonas tapped the mess on the table with his sword, and the tip began to burn a little before changing. The tip turned flat, and then everything stopped on it. Jonas laughed. "Good job, doctor Franklin. Good job." Jonas didn't know it, but he had accidentally spilled some of the chemicals in the test tube he had on his hand as well. Jonas wondered whether or not he should call an ambulance or not. Then his hand stung. "Ow!" Jonas said, grabbing his hand.
Kain did as he was told and created not a blue jay, but an eagle. Sin's eyes shot open. "How did..." Kain was also surprised. The eagle he had made wasn't disappearing like his other creations. Kain dropped his hands, and the eagle disappeared. "Woah." Kain said.
"Aw, to h*ll with it!" Jonas said, pulling out his "sword" and hading towards the scream. It was definatelly in the basement. Jonas noticed the door was partially open, so he peeked inside to see what was going on. "What the...?" Jonas said, looking inside. The same woman who fell on him was changing, and Jonas thought he saw the reason. There was a spilled test tube on the ground.
Sin looked over at Precious, his face turning white again. "Gee, I wonder why. Aquaphobia SUCKS." Kain was still trying to create a bird, but kept coming up with and inchworm with a bird's head and a small cat's paw. "Well, at least it's SOMETHING!" Kain said, as Sin tried to laugh again.
Jonas heard the scream and stopped. He reached for his weapon, but remembered that he wasn't allowed to show it off. So Jonas was now unsure of what to do. "It's days like these that I hate having a good day." Jonas said, trying in vain to think of what he should do.
OOC: (Don't forget to put what you say in quotes, please, otherwise it gets confusing.) Sin and Kain looked over at who had said that. Kain turned back to the river and tried again but instead of making a bird, he made an inchworm. "Well... it's a start, right?" Kain said, looking at Sin, who was laughing at Kain's poor attempt.
Jonas saw a broken test tube on the ground, and what looked like a makeshift laboratory. There was a list of chemicals on the table, but the real lab was in the basement. "What the heck does Iron and Chlorine mix into?" Jonas said, looking at what he thought was a ridiculous list. "And why would you mix Oxygen with liquid Cobalt? That's stupid. This guy must have been nuts. Or this was his son." Jonas put the list back down and went back into the main room. "Hmph. Liquid Cobalt and Oxygen... what a joke..."
Sin got up and sighed. "Out, Kain. I may be Aquaphobic, but at LEAST I can show you how to do it right." Kain got out and Sin nervously stepped in, closing his eyes so he wouldn't see his own fear. Taking his hands, Sin lifted up a twirling pillar of water and formed it into the shape of a bird, then the water turned glass like, then it became a real live bird. It was a blue Jay. For a few seconds, it sat on Sin's finger, then it melted back into water. Sin flinched when he felt it, but he didn't turn white because he couldn't see it. "There," Sin said tensely, "That's how it's done." Sin quickly jumped out of the water, breathing heavily with relief. Kain was surprised. "Sin, good job!" Kain said.
Jonas kept on walking through the house, being sure not to touch anything as he did so. "Well, that was... a bit awkward." he said, turning somewhat red as he thought about it. "But, I'm gonna see what's in here..." Jonas said, opening the door. "What the...?" Jonas said.
Kain was dizzy. "I'm a klutz when it comes to water techniques... I made a riptide and then a whirlpool instead of a water spiral thing." Kain said, trying to regain his balance. Sin was smiling in a "You should've listened to the genius" way. "Well, I did warn him." Sin said, matter-of-factly.
Jonas noticed something. When he picked it up, it looked like a cell phone. "Hey, wait!" Jonas said, catching up with Jasmine. "Did you perchance, drop this?" Jonas asked handing her the phone.
Kain tried again, but made a giant riptide that sent him spiraling into a whirlpool. "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Kain. Sin puled Kain out and immediately shocked him with a lightning spell. "I warned you, Kain." Sin said, throwing Kain back in. Kain was now dizzy. OOC: (As you can probably guess, Kain is a klutz.)
Jonas got up and brushed himself off. "Think nothing of it. I've taken tons of falls before. Just... well, not with somebody causing it." Jonas said, thinking of when he had ever been pushed to the ground. Which was never. "On the other hand, I don't want people getting the wrong impression, so please be careful from now on." Jonas said kindly, picking up the nail and throwing it out the window to his left.
Jonas had been on a tour of the city for five days now, and he figured a trip to an old house might not be so bad. Taking off his hat when he went in, Jonas made sure not to show his "Sword" around, even though it was wooden and couldn't possibly hurt anybody in Jonas' current state of mind. Jonas looked around the house. It was big, it looked somewhat creepy from the outside, and there was a laboratory in this house. Perfect, thought Jonas.
OOC: (Kain's at a riverbead trying to manipulate water but failing horribly. That's worse than miserably! XD And his brother Sin is there too, and Jess, another water "Bender".) "Kain, if you don't get this right in the next five seconds, I'm going to shoot lightning up your @$$ so fast you won't have time to think!" Sin said, agitated by Kain's stupidity. "Water's not that hard to manipulate, is it? Well, get it right!" Sin said, watching Kain whip himself in the face yet again.
"Oh come on, Kain, it can't be THAT hard!" Sin said, his face turning it's normal color again. Kain was now red faced from whipping himself by accident and was now completely drenched. Kain was panting while trying to get it right. And he failed once more.
