DAMN IT *STOMPS*
I'm pretty. Pretty damn bored that is.
Really looking forward to this, I enjoyed the first movie a lot and found it better than the Toby Maguire (if that's how it's spelt) movie series. A glowing blue version of Kessler from infamous? thats who I thought of
Where were the form digits taken out of?
Well, the dub probably took a few more years probably around 2002-2003, the manga came out in 1998 and then the anime 1999-2001 within japan of course and a lot of people I know call it a classic with YYH, sort of the way some people now would call Soul-eater and FMA a classic but I guess it's just the way you define the word to yourself. and I guess it's all to do with popularity, but someone like Oda author of One piece even though I don't ready one piece, shounen jump weekly right now holds 55% of it's profit from publishing one piece, if that stopped Shounen jump would be at the brink of financial collapse, I believe togashi is in the middle his manga IS popular thats why they've kept HXH as a shounen jump weekly title but it's not that popular that they rely on the sales for it plus this is a habbit by togashi anyways, my point is You could take a holiday off from being a manga creator whenever you want it just depends on your Mangas popularity and sales positions
Hunter x Hunter is very popular, don't forget that he also made YuYu Hakusho this is probably why as well, even when he's not publishing he's still making profit I guess, especially from the popularity of both HXH and YYH being classic Anime and manga not only that but both being huge Shounen Jump Weekly titles. it would be a life of luxury though to live like him.
I think these long Hiatus' that Togashi always drops back into after a while is what inspires him to keep writing in honesty, from what I've heard he's been using the Hiatus to play RPG's as he is a huge fan, currently FF XIV ARR, but I think that's what makes him a good writer because he gives himself a break so that he doesn't start running out of motive but that's just my opinion.
Forgive me for my abundance of opinion oh great one. I still answered the main question didn't I?
Yes, all of that but also not only that but Sasuke had barley any character progression until now, sure his motives changed and all but he's not matured much as a character. anyways aside from the Kishimoto inspiring from Togashi. You think Togashi might bring HXH back this year? he's been on hiatus for, 2 years now I think?
first page, You'll see.
I almost forgot this thread existed, forgive me. I've actually been keeping myself active as of late but ironically I forgot about the thread i took part the most in while I was active haha
I have yet to watch this, I will be soon because of a friend who's forcing me to watch it with them. But first I have to finish off reading a lot of other piled up stuff but I've heard a lot of good reviews about this so I'm looking forward to watching it.
So, I expect we've all watched or atleast HEARD of Hunter x Hunter, a classic Anime back in 1999, now it's had 4 years running of a remake anime. If you've never heard of Hunter x Hunter Spoiler is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated byYoshihiro Togashi. The story focuses on a young boy named Gon, who discovers that his father, whom he was told was dead, is actually alive and well. He learns that his father, Ging, is a world-renowned Hunter: a licensed profession for those who specialize in fantastic pursuits such as locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, or hunting down lawless individuals. Despite Ging having left his son with his relatives in order to pursue his own dreams, Gon departs upon a journey to follow in his father's footsteps, pass the rigorous Hunter Examination, and eventually find his father. Along the way, Gon meets various other kinds of Hunters and also encounters the paranormal. The original inspiration for the manga came from Togashi's own collecting hobby. for those of you who've watched it, do you think Kishimoto inspired some of Naruto's backstory and foundation from Hunter X Hunter's story, there's a lot of controversy of Kishimoto ripping off togashi but I don't like to say that because everyone needs to be inspired by something.
Definitely Shibuya now that KH3DS had Neku in it, I wouldn't mind exploring outside of the Olympus collessium as in, now that we had sort of like the town in it, can we head to mount olympus or something? More to port royal or atleast bring port royal back and add in the Island that Jack became the leader of in the second movie or that one place where any man can do as he pleases ugh..Tortuga? I think, it's been ages since I've watched POTC but I can see problems with adding these Area's as well into KH
The whipping or that no one asked?
I'll be honest; and I'm sure you'll all agree. This game had SO much hate before it officially released, dante was hated among the DMC fans basically because he wasn't the traditional Dante, I for one was looking forward to it. but my point is this game probably was more popular due to the fact that most of the fanbase underestimated it. I say that the best feeling you get when buying a new game is; underestimating it and thinking it'll be mediocre or bad, and finding out it'll be amazing. The same thing happened with dragons dogma but yes. I hope we see a sequel to this DMC Also, I love your voice. There are certain voices that are fit for commentary, and you have it. some just piss you off by putting on stupid voices I don't know what I'm getting at but I like it I expect to see more
I get where you're going and I agree, Kingdom Hearts II's OST's were well done, and didn't repeat. Although Yoko Shinomura has done great with the more recent games, I believe it maybe because the games were always so rushed, BBS came out so fast and so did RE:Coded. 3DS's OST's didn't seem to course over for me but I didn't really focus on any battle music within 3DS mainly I liked the Young Xehanort fight's OST but that was basically a mashup between darkness of the unknown & mysterious figure's ost.
Sadly enough I need to see catching fire, I've read all the books and honestly the term the films are never as good as the books Is always true, but the thing is, what would have made the movies great was if Katniss was narrating her feelings in certain scenes as the books are read from the perspective of Katniss not from the author or anyone else just first person dialect, the first movie would have been perfect if it had brought this into the movie series
