Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I like to steal well designed graphics and then pass them off as my own on other forums.

Impose rules? Of course not. It would be nice and pleasing to the eye, but it's not possible.

It was a fun game in my opinion. A little glitchy, but I got passed that. The story was enjoyable and engaging yet very enigmatic, but it made sense at the time as the next two games of the trilogy would shed some light on what was really going on. Unfortunately all production and plans to continue the series were stopped. Since then no one has picked up the license. To be truthful I'm a little pissed off that no one wants to finish it, especially after such a cliff-hanger ending.

Well considering that Christ and Buddha have many parallels it wouldn't shock me if they were some how the same person, or shared the same teachings. Who knows what that huge gap in the bible between Jesus as a kid and Jesus as a man entailed. for all we know Christ may have met the Buddha.

Comparing one to the other is simply a matter of personal preference. In all I'd have to go with Buddhism, as it places focus on simply living a way of life that is not extreme, and living in the here and now.

My point was never that aborting a fetus is justified because they don't know they exist. The point is that it's existence, and very nature at that period of time is completely dependent on the woman. The choice is hers to make.

Making the necessary preparations and then still ending up with a pregnancy doesn't make anyone stupid either. It's just an odd, but probable occurrence. From there the choice up to the woman as to whether or not she wants to go through with having the child.

The semen merely fertilizes the egg, which divides and eventually becomes a person. The main argument for anti-abortion is that a soul is present at conception, if that's what you're trying to aim for we can gladly start again. But saying that the difference between a sole group of cells (blastocyst) and a fully functional human individual is negligible means nothing in the context of this debate. And since when was self-awareness not key to our own identity as individuals? If you were born without any of your five senses making it impossible for you to be aware of anything, including yourself, how would you know you exist? Thought and awareness relies on extracting information from referencing ourselves in the world, without it we have nothing.

Well we don't just define a person as being a mass of cells. When you were a fetus, did you think? Were you aware? Did you feel? You only know you started out as a ball of cells after the fact and you only knew that you were a person until after the fact.

Again there may be interpretive grounds in the bible where homosexuality is bad, but if it is in fact so bad why would God let it happen? Surely there are plenty of better ways to test faith, and people in general. If its was made Adam and Eve, how did it get to be Adam and Steve? Saying it's against your beliefs because they're based off of what your religion puts forth isn't a good enough reason if for all you know what you believe in is responsible for it (God didn't intend for homosexuality, but yet he let it happen?).

So I guess we choose to be violent, and choose who love? Of the irrational arguments to put forth about being rational.

I'm pretty sure they'd appear just as sane as the person on the opposite end of the scale- someone who claimed they could prove, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that God existed. It's like if Jesus Christ or Buddha showed up at your house, would you really believe them?

Because deep down we're so unsure of such a thing, and most people either go with extreme irrational faith or extreme empiricism and lack of faith without stopping to look from the other's perspective it only seems right that he would be thought of as a crack pot.

Huh? My point is that people are always going to be critical and give their opinions regarding the latest fad, celebrity, or miracle cough syrup. just because they do doesn't those opinions have to have any importance.

I can't do anything but laugh, and possibly cripple them enough emotionally so that they'll think twice come the next convention.

If dressing up like a fictional character is really a part of your pursuit of happiness in life then you need to be medicated. There's a difference between robbing someone of their freedoms and criticizing how they carry out that freedom.
