I can't get into SSB. My girlfriend's sister has the new one and plays it on my girlfriend's Wii U and...it's fun, yeah, but it doesn't really grab me. Maybe it's just because I have no idea what I'm doing, but I can't get into it. Which sucks. It looks like fun and I want to like it.
Name: Perseus Lark Age: 23 Appearance: Clix Race: Hume House: Winterfell Occupation: Monk Gear: Knuckles on his left hand and guards on both feet. Sign: Phoenix Bio: Perseus was born to a farmer in Winterfell. As a young child, he was burdened with questions about the world, questions that he couldn't answer on a farm. As he grew, he buried himself in books, trying to find real answers to the philosophical questions that plagued him such as the true nature of man, the philosophies of society, and the workings of the inner mind. Unable to come up with anything besides more questions, the young commoner decided to gain a new perspective by seeing something new. To that end, he decided to join the Night's Watch, not because he believed wholeheartedly in their mission, but for a chance to partake in a scouting party outside of the Wall. Though he succeeded in his ventures, his group was attacked by Cie'th, leaving him as the only survivor. He managed to make it back to the Wall, but realized that he now suffered from something horrible. Afraid of being cursed, he tried everything to cure himself, but nothing worked. Desperate, he ventured back into the Jagd, this time without the Watch's permission, and met an Auri that helped him suppress the curse. While there, Perseus found something that troubled him. Deciding to tell the Throne about it, he smuggled his new Auri friend into Ivalice and has started making his way to the Westerlands. Name: Ulric Tybalt Age: 21 Appearance: Clickety clackety cloo Race: Hume House: Ragnarok Occupation: Summoner Gear: A long steel rod with sharp edges around the apex as well as a book of magic. Sign: Titan Bio: As all from House Ragnarok are, Ulric was raised very religiously. It has been his lifelong dream to join the Knights of the Round, though their exclusive recruitment process is a secret to all but the highest officials of the Church. After his mother's death, Ulric's faith faltered slightly, and the young Summoner changed his focus to becoming a knight for the throne's army, a more respectable position in his family's eyes. To that end, he enrolled in the Westerlands' Academy of Magickal Arts. Due to graduate this year, Ulric now realizes that if war does break out, he'll be on the frontlines.

Sword in hand, a warrior clutches stone to breast In sword etched he his fading memories In stone, his tempered skill By sword attested, by stone revealed Their tale can now be told. ArchBueno RProductions™ Presents >ooc Thread< The Church of Andalos and the Zodiac Braves Six thousand years ago, before St. Ajora, the kingdom of Ivalice was split into six nations, each wanting to expand its territory. Its people worshiped a pantheon of seven gods, the Occuria, led by the Father. On the day that Ajora Andalos was born, he stood on his feet and walked to the town well and spoke of its poison. True to his prophecy, all those who drank from the well died. Ajora grew and spread the gospel of the Seven, the one true god with seven faces, across the Crownlands and the neighboring nations. He performed miracles and enlightened all in his path, eventually gaining 12 disciples. When the King of Dorne grew mad in want of conquest, he used forbidden magic to summon an Ancient Demon. With hopes of using the Demon as his weapon, the Mad King unleashed it upon all of Ivalice. The Ancient Demon was too powerful for the Mad King and killed him before going to lay waste to all of Ivalice. Ajora led his 12 disciples to fight against the Ancient Demon, using the power of 13 holy stones -the Auracite- and defeated the Ancient Demon. Ajora was named as Saint by his followers for this victory and because the Auracite were marked with the signs of the Zodiacs, he and his disciples were dubbed the "Zodiac Braves." Though Ivalice was united by his victory against the Ancient Demon, the church branded St. Ajora a heretic and traitor to Ivalice. One of St. Ajora's disciples sold his location to the pagan church and he was executed at the gallows. For their transgression, the Crownlands were immediately destroyed by the Cataclysm. The Church of Andalos, as it is now, rose from the ruins of the Crownlands. Worshiping the Father as the one true God and St. Ajora as the child of God, savior of Ivalice, leader of the Zodiac Braves, and vanquisher of the evil Demon, the Church of Andalos gained prominence in all of Ivalice and ruled alongside the noble families. Those who still believe in the old gods, the Occuria, are heretics and may hold no noble title. These heathens are said to be victim to a curse as punishment for their transgression. The Church of Anadalos Before St. Ajora Andalos, the ancient Ivalicians worshiped seven different gods, the Occuria, led by the Father. However, St. Ajora preached the truth: there is only one god, the Father, with seven faces. Though each face is prayed to for different purposes, they are all acknowledged and respected under both Church doctrine and throne law. A seven-pointed star represents the faith. The Father - represents divine justice and judges the souls of the dead. The Mother - represents mercy, peace, fertility, and childbirth. She is often referred to as "the strength of women." The Maiden - represents purity, innocence, love, and beauty. The Crone - represents wisdom and foresight. She is usually portrayed carrying a lantern. The Warrior - represents strength and courage in battle The Smith - represents creation and craftsmanship. The Stranger - represents death and the unknown. It is rarely prayed to. Though the faces can be referred to as "gods," it is important to note that they are only faces of the Father. Collectively, one can refer to all seven faces as the "Seven." The Church of Andalos is led by the High Judge, usually a blood relative of Zodiac's Baron. The Espers that the Summoners call upon are essences of the angels of the Seven, evoked temporarily by the Summoners' prayers. The signs of the Zodiac were named after the archangels in the Father's court. The Church of Andalos has an armed faction, 13 warriors called the Knights of the Round, that are sent throughout Ivalice for religious promotion and other such affairs. The Wall, the Jagd, and the WatchThough St. Ajora and the Zodiac Braves vanquished the Ancient Demon, its evil forces still remain in the world. After the unification of Ivalice, the monsters were pushed north and a massive wall was built between them and Ivalice, separating us from them. The monstrous underlings of the Ancient Demon, the Cie'th, are now contained to the Jagd, the lawless and wild regions outside of the Wall. Both the King and the Church forbid venturing into the Jagd, employing the Night's Watch to guard the Wall from those seeking out...and in. The Night's Watch consists of a few hundred men, though its army is at its all-time smallest. While the Night's Watch employs soldiers from all armies, its dwindling numbers have led to most of the guard stations being abandoned, leaving only a handful. Due to decades without incident, both the throne and the Church largely ignore it aside from forbidding crossing of the Wall, leading it to its current state. Though the Night's Watch was once considered an honorable position -the Watchmen swear an oath of loyalty to the Wall and no individual kingdom, committing their entire lives to the Watch- it is now mostly criminals and nobles avoiding either punishment and scandal, as well as orphans and other such outcasts.
This thread disgusts me.
You're not the only one and I haven't smoked yet. It sounded a bit more like Sora at first (I thought it was Riku and Sora and thought "ugh, Riku's voice?" then realized who it was and thought Ven, yeah).
So @Incognitus and I have been hard at work on a new project. It's a blend of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire and Final Fantasy (specifically the Tactics series). To start off, let me just say that neither the TV/Book series nor the game series are required knowledge for this. We're simply using them as a jumping off point. In fact, I've only watched the first and second seasons of GoT all the way through and then bits and pieces of the following seasons (I'm trying to catch up!) and Incognitus hasn't played any of the Tactics games. We're coming up with all of the pertinent information ourselves so everything that's absolutely required to know will be in the RP, though if you are fans of Game of Thrones and/or Final Fantasy Tactics, you will be familiar with how the story unfolds. Long story short: It is a medieval Final Fantasy role-play that will be similar in tone to Game of Thrones (minus the HBO stuff that isn't KHV friendly, of course!) We could definitely use a couple of eager Role-Players to help us with the big picture by portraying some of the people in power. So here's the story for the RP: The Kingdom of Ivalice is divided into six regions divided among five Houses: House Dahaka (the vicious fighters) rules Dorne, House Ragnarok (religious warriors) rules the Stormlands, House Anima (most technologically-advanced) has the Iron Island, House Zodiark (rulers of the Church) is in the Crownlands, and House Valefor (warriors and current rulers of Ivalice) has Winterfell. Whichever House is in currently in rule (as in, the King of all of Ivalice) rules from the Westerlands, effectively giving them two regions. Each House is led by the Baron, but ultimately answers to the King. The King died three years ago and left a baby prince as an heir. The Queen named her brother Regent to the throne, allowing him to watch over the Prince until he is of age and to rule Ivalice alongside the Queen and the Hand (the throne's advisor). However, the Baron of House Ragnarok has made a claim to the throne and now tensions are rising over control of the throne. That's the basic story. There's more Final Fantasy stuff involved (Races, magic, a short list of available "Classes," Espers, etc.) and more Game of Thrones stuff (The North and the Night's Watch, politics, etc.) that will be described in the actual RP. For now, we would like someone to portray the Queen and the Baron of Ragnarok for sure. We could also use a Baron for Anima and Zodiark, but these aren't absolutely necessary as they won't come into play just yet. If you are interested for one of these roles, just post and we'll share the info for the character! If you're just interested in the RP, but not these characters, we can help you get started on your forms!
Considering starting my town over in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I'm not...too attached to my current town and it's not that developed (a camping site, two bridges, and the reset center) BUT I don't know about losing all of my stuff. Some of this **** is pretty cool. UGH.
When I was in college, my first two years I lived on the second floor of the dorm. I still took the elevator most days. Usually only up, if no one else was waiting, but occasionally down. Most of it was laziness. The elevator was in the middle of the hall, I was two doors away from it, and the stairs were at each end. It was much quicker to take the elevator. ...but I know I was a dick for doing it lol I think the only time I actually preferred the stairs is if I was in a huge hurry, then I would run to and down them. ...or if I was doing stuff I wasn't supposed to be doing on campus. Stairs are just...more criminal.
Paid? Silly Mistybot. You have no idea how the AI/Actual Intelligence relationship works.
I was hoping for a pun I could share with my roommates. But they won't know who Even is because they won't start KH2 without playing Re:CoM and neither of them likes the card system.
I wish I had that problem with comics. Instead, it's like...goddamn, 40-60 bucks a week.
I knew we were bros for a reason.
Or you can just use the hose in a whirlpool manner as the sink drains. #iusedtodishwashatwork
I can't handle this guys. Someone cut him up already.
Does this mean that soon we can order Misty-models for home? Because I have a **** ton of blogging I need done and I just don't have the time for it myself.
Jesus Christ. Okay, then. Awesome! Thanks, @libregkd
I'm sure this is as designed, but if not, I would love to go back to the old way. Before, if one was on the home page and clicked on the banner, it would open the forum index. If you were on the forum and clicked it, it would open the home page. Now it only goes to the home page. If it isn't as designed and at all possible, I would love if it could be changed back. It was really convenient being able to click the banner at the top (especially on mobile) to go to the forum.
I always knew Plums was a little fruity.
